I’m now at UCI medical Hoag is a mess. Waiting 40 mins for appointment on the phone then can’t see me for 2’months?UCi is the best. Covid shots all done

Dr. Gayathri Naik is a very good doctor. She is thorough and very knowledgeable. However, the office staff is very disorganized. They take a huge amount of time following up on orders, losing them at time, and often do not know what they are doing. Frustrating situation for a client who is waiting for results or referrals.

After waiting few weeks for my appointment, I received a voice message that my appointment was canceled (one day before my appointment) due to the doctor being unavailable. .Joshua (Staff member) said to call back to setup a new appointment and left a number to call. I called that number but I kept getting the wrong people to answer my call since apparently it was a general number for the entire hospital. Every time someone answers the phone and I try to get them to reschedule my appointment they end up saying they do not setup appointments or do not know which doctor I was assigned to etc...I gave up after trying so many times and called UCI medical instead of Hoag . The person that answered was so helpful. Stayed on the phone till she found my old records (I previously left them and went to Hoag since Hoag is closer to where I live) and set up an appointment for me from the first call with a doctor of my choosing.Hopefully I will never go to Hoag again. What a mess...
