I had an excellent experience here for my cataract surgery. Easy check in, very clean facility, wonderful caring nursing staff, surgeon and anesthesiologist, who explained everything thoroughly and took wonderful care of me. Highly recommend the Iowa City Ambulatory Surgical Center!

I recently had cataract surgery here. A fantastic experience with an efficient check-in process, wonderful nursing staff, excellent surgeon and anesthesiologist. The facility was remarkably clean throughout. Thank you for the care and concern shown by all.

Clean environment, I can’t say that about too many medical facilities. Staff is friendly and informative. As the caregivers waiting we have been checked on, told where everything is at that we need,and that status of the patient. I highly recommend this facility.

I had a t&a surgery done by Dr reed yesterday. My pre-op care was done by an amazing nurse! Carrie? I believe was her name. And Dr Chang was amazing with the anesthisa. I dont remember anyone else that signed my card except for Mike. I did great with the anesthia with the exception of spitting everywhere because of the numbing med. Nurse Mike was awesome. He was willing to assist me with a wheel chair and to his suprise I walked out of the room. 😍Fantastic staff. Although I can barely talk today lol

Just had my 7th procedure, and 4th with Dr. Simpson, at the Iowa City ASC. Excellent treatment by all staff, clinical and non-clinical, throughout my visit. Anesthesiologist Dr. Angela Thompson worked diligently to help me avoid post operative nausea. Dr. Simpson is extremely skilled and has a great bedside manner. Nursing care is excellent. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my surgical care. Top notch!
