Saw him for a procedure and turns out it wasnt even done properly. Oh and I didnt even find that out until my follow up appointment with him. Very nice and personable but I was VERY disappointed with my experience with him as far as how my procedure went.

I was referred to Dr. Capper for an outpatient surgical procedure. I had an excellent experience with him and his nurse. Both are friendly, meticulous and easy to talk with. I would not hesitate to use Dr. Capper again.

Highly recommend Dr. Capper. I have complained of fatigue for years and no doctor addressed the problem. Went to Dr. Capper for another issue and when I mentioned fatigue he actually listened. Diagnosed problem and I feel much better.

I finally went to meet Dr. Capper after having been sick for many months. He treated me with respect and compassion and has been wonderful through the whole process of surgery, recovery and beyond. Highly reccomend! We are blessed to have someone of his caliber in Iowa City!!!

Dr. Capper was great! His nurse and front desk staff is rude and condescending. Its a tough thing, I would like to still see Dr. Capper, but I have to deal with the office staff to get to see him. Be wary, I need a USADA form filled out for a prescription they ordered me, and I was charged $10 because they had to read the form and fill it out. I understand fees, but when the give you a receipt that says FMLA and say thats their policy and then dont have a proper receipt.

I talked to him twice as a doctor on-call. He was extremely condescending and rude. After a tonsillectomy (which he did not perform), I had bleeding that covered the entire left half of my throat, and he was the doctor on-call when this happened. It was half past midnight and during my call with him, he explained to me that he wanted to go back to sleep instead of explaining to me whether or not I should be concerned.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cappers for more than 15 years. He has always been professional and helpful.
