I called as a new patient in the morning and they got me in right away, I didnt even have to be in the waiting room for more than a minute. They were very professional, as well as helpful with my future dental plans. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ive had two extractions, two fillings and gone twice now for cleanings at Towncrest Dental and the experiences have been excellent. Everything is explained upfront, including prices, so there are no surprises. Everyone is so friendly and nice. And during my last visit for cleaning I was thoroughly impressed by their procedures during this pandemic. I would highly recommend Towncrest Dental to anyone.

By far the most embarrassing customer service experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been a dental patient for 15 years with Towncrest Dental and was treated like a bum off the street because I had incomplete dental insurance information that would have been relayed to them by the end of the day. They must not be doing well financially or with new ownership they have new rules that are contrary to the small town local feel they used to have. Along with my family that go to Towncrest I have referred dozens of people to them over the years. What a shame.

The were careful and thoughtful during my cleaning about my exposed, sensitive nerve endings from having braces as a teenager. I haven’t been anywhere else since first going here a few years ago!

I am terrified of the dentist and had not been in more years than I care to admit but the staff was accommodating of my very tight schedule and caring from check in to check out. Unfortunately, I had a cavity and they were able to get me in the very next day to get it taken care of. I even got $50 off since I was a referral! Will definitely be going back!

I have high anxiety when it comes to dentist, when I went into this dentist I was visibly stressed and the dental assistant asked me are you anxious about the dentist? I said yes and she responded you know, if you took better care of your teeth then you wouldnt need to be here Needless to say that comment was not helpful. Then during my dental procedure the dentist burned my lip with whatever instrument she was using. I will not be going back to them.

Towncrest Dental is the best! My family has had such great experiences from the time we walk in the door until the time we leave :) The front staff is so kind, the dental hygienists are amazing, and Dr. Davidson is wonderful! We transferred from a clinic in Cedar Rapids and my kids feel so comfortable with everyone there. Great place to go all around!

I’ve been going to Towncrwat dental for 5 years, and the they have been bar none my best experience with dentistry in the Iowa city area. The hygienist are wonderful, and detailed oriented. Dr. Ballard has been a blessing, giving and maintaining and excellent experience, getting my teeth the care they need.

Moved to the area and was hoping to find a regular dentist. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here-dentist was pushy and didnt make me feel comfortable at all. Ive never had a cavity in my life and she was pushing all these products to make a quick buck. I wont be going back and I wouldnt recommend. It was nice that I was able to get in quickly.

I love Towncrest Dental. Dr. Davidson has done crowns for me and they were a piece of cake compared to the crown I had done elsewhere. He is gentle and precise and gets things done in a timely manner. I never get to the point where Im uncomfortable and thinking when is this ever going to end. My dental cleanings are very good and the office staff has a good understanding of insurance billing,etc. On top of that, everyone is always pleasant. I cant think of anytime anyone has been the least bit off putting.

Dr Ballard is sooo amazing. The dentist is my least favorite place to visit. Dr Ballard and her staff has actually made me just a tiny bit excited when I have an appointment! You are a REAL person. Your not just a number or a patient, but a person that they care about getting you the best treatment possible. The front desk staff, hygienist, and dentist were all friendly. They also gave feedback on the status of my oral health, and were educative in the questions I had for how to further improve my teeth-cleaning habits. They also, through the X-Rays, checked for some other medical conditions that other dentists had not mentioned before, just to be thorough (which, fortunately, I was fine!). So far, so good!

Dr. Ballard is the most personable and caring dentist Ive ever been to see! Really feels great going in knowing Ill be taken care of. Highly recommend going to see her or any dentist there!

The regular check ups were fine until I had to get a cavity filled. The filling they put in cracked less than 72 hours after getting it done and they fixed it twice (charging me both times) before it finally stuck. Ive had several cavities filled in the past, and none of my previous dentists needed to try 3 times before getting it correct. Wouldnt recommend.

Gritting my teeth while lifting something I cracked my upper front tooth. Dr. Moss was able to install an implant that not only looks great but also straightened the alignment since my teeth were crooked. Quite happy with how everything turned out.

Seemed to care about my dental anxiety until the very end where they told me they couldnt do a normal root canal and told me to go to an endodontist and then come back! Each additional visit makes it that much worse for me, so three trips for one tooth is unbelievable!
