We had been going to visit dad off and on cuz of Covid restrictions and we noticed his legs and feet were so swollen they were oozing fluid out of all these sores they said cuz he sits so much they swell. So we took dad out and brought him home April 1st 2021. We took him to our dr and he said keep legs up and make sure he drinks more water and walks a lot. He kept us up a lot cuz he started grabbing his stomach so on April 4th we called ambo to go to hospital they said give him miralax and no go to hospital so we did but the pain kept getting worse so on April 6th we called ambo again and insisted he go to hospital at 5am then dr called by 11am and said get down here he is dieing. His heart was going out and that’s why he had all that water and his intestine where colon is was so blocked it was dieing. We finally got hospice after we were begging since February and my dad died April 7th 5am. Now we were paying for dr visits and he fell 7 times and 5 of them he went to hospital no one said anything. So if you put your loved one here they won’t take care of them my dad was there 6 months. Please find it in your heart to keep them home and insist on dr visits since your loved one can’t tell you what’s wrong.

My family member just arrived at White Pines and so far so good. The Regional Sales Director was very instrumental in aiding in the transition to the facility. She communicated with our family consistently and answered all of our questions. With her leading example, we are hopeful this will be a great experience for our family member.

White Pines has been an absolute pleasure to work with and breath of fresh air! We have recently moved my father into their Inver Grove Heights facility and I could not have asked for a better experience. Taylor Chollett was extremely easy to work and very responsive in the initial stages of gather info and setting everything up. Now that we are in the facility, their staff has been great to work with and they actually care! Not knowing what to expect, the last facility my father was in just did not seem to have the same level of care nor awareness. Now that we are at White Pines it has been a complete 180 from top to bottom in a great way.

I was able to work with the director, Taylor, from White Pine and find an appropriate setting for a patient discharging from the hospital. Their communication and efforts to meet the patient and family needs were top notch. Their collaboration and support made this process easier as a referring provider, and for the family when going through a difficult time. Thank you, White Pine staff.

I have worked for White Pine IGH2 for over 2 years. Weve had our ups and downs as every company does however we always focus on how we can better our residents and make the days full and enjoyable. I grew from a caregiver where I started working my way up through different positions and now I am House Manager. Its been a great opportunity to be able to grow and learn so much in the company! Staff are very dedicated to the residents and making sure they are cared for. Day by day we are growing our activity program and revamping it to better fit every residents likes and hobbies.
