The staff at Timber Hills has been wonderful. My mom needed special preperation for her surgery. The staff were phenomenal in how they provided assistance, which included giving my mom 2 showers. I thought my mom would object to getting this help. After the first shower, she was thrilled. She said they did a good job and were gental After the 2nd one, she said I should give this to my friends. She has dimensia and I believe she thought she was at a spa. For this prep, I was able to stay overnight with my mom. One of the staff, without hesitation, offered the use of their air mattress, which worked perfectly. The day of surgery came and the hospital nurse called Timber Hills and spoke with the memory care nurse. After hanging up, she said she was impressed. The hospital nurse has dealt with many memory care places, but Timber Hills knew exactly what was going on, my moms medicines, etc. This is something I knew, but it was nice to hear it from a professiinal.

A great community very friendly

My mom lived in independent care for years. We loved this place. Moved her to assisted living and the staff is hit or miss and this no longer seems like the same wonderful place. Some aids are in need of training and a dose of compassion. Think the director of nursing needs to get away from her desk and spend some evenings and nights learning what the residents go through when no over sight is onsite after hours

Timber hills has been the best thing to come into my life. Ive never loved my job more nor felt so appreciated. 9 years later and I still feel the same way! The people make it so special everyone from senior community to all the staff everyone seems to have a friendly smile on their face.

Timber hills is the best place to work indeed 💯 putting smiles on those lovely residents is what timber hills and the staff are good at :)

My father, Famous Amos (nickname), lived here in assisted living and then memory care and passed into the hands of God after 3 years. After over 10 years I am still thankful in my heart every day for the amazing, compassionate, and kind care they gave him every single day. The staff were the ones who served him even on his final day I witnessed first hand their care and giving to other residents. They were always patient, kind, and willing to help all residents and their families. Fabulous programs for all in a beautiful setting. You could always see staff in the building and available at all times in memory care.My precious Mother in Law is at Bridgedale Hospice Care in Eagan and we havent seen any care staff at various times of the day in the memory care area during her first 7 days there. Contact with residents seems very elusive. This is sad and an unacceptable level of care.I witnessed that not all patients can remain at the Timber Hills location due to advanced health issues. There are other Pres Homes that offer additional care at these stages. It is really hard to have to move your loved one to yet another facility. My heart goes out to any one who has experienced this.I visited TImber Hills very often and became close to patients and staff. I volunteered at this location even after my dad passed. My wish is to return here to volunteer. I only wish all residents at other facilities could receive even close to the kind of care TImber Hills provides. Blessings to all of you who serve.

For those that can afford it this is a nice retirement community
