I am a veteran and they have helped me immensely as a matter of fact the VA has saved countless veterans from the streets and from social ruin and no doubt has saved countless lives they cant get them all but they get a great amount of people that would have otherwise fallen through the cracks they have stringent rules but it is necessary many of us have had to live out in the streets some by choice song by circumstance but once you get in there follow the rules do what they ask and trust me youll come out on top dont go in looking for a pity party because you wont find it there keep your appointments be respectful of others remember youre in this to do for yourself thats the main thing they teach you to be self-reliant nothing is perfect but it sure beats the hell out of the alternative a living in the streets it is a win-win situation hard rules in the long run you have a better quality of life and a light at the end of the tunnel wherever you are in life theyll do their best to turn you around in the right direction but only you can do it
