Ive been Dr. Ruth Lims patient for three years now after moving from another Huron Clinic whos Professional Competency and Knowledgeof my own Medical History proved to be disappointing. Dr. Lim listened to me; thats a key factor for my choice of Primary Care Physician. Excellentdiscussion and referral to Medical Specialists has also showed Dr. Limsdedication to my healthcare. Horizons James Valley Community Health Center in Huron fits my needs due to: very well managed patient intake and professional front office staff too.

This income based family clinic is one that truly cares about the quality and attention each patient requires.Staff are friendly, multilingual, and available to answer questions and concerns you may have.The provider I currently see after an emergency hospitalization follows up with thorough care and attentive monitoring.The physician the hospital gave me, employed by another local clinic is uncomfortable, cold, disrespectful and outright uncaring about my particular case.The provider at Horizon was a breathe of fresh air. I would expect that the other providers are just as great at treating their patients as is mine is.

I think its great to have a clinic in town that offers a sliding fee. Im very satisfied with my main doctor, as he is always pleasant, takes the time to understand my concerns, explains things thoroughly, and makes me feel comfortable. I also thinks its wonderful that the clinic has partnered up with the Womens Wellness Center. Ive had a chance to see a doctor from the WWC at the clinic. I have to say that I felt like my recent visit with the doctor from the WWC was less than satisfactory. I didnt feel as if she took my concerns seriously. It would be appreciated if she was more sensitive and/or understanding, especially when a patient is dealing with a worrisome diagnosis.

Just poor service they served on the day after Thanksgiving.
