If i could rate this no stars i would.Creekside is awful. The front desk is absolutely terrible and will not answer the phone. If you have to have a referral please look elsewhere. The nurses are just as bad an unfriendly. They almost cost me a trip to the emergency room. Please look elsewhere for a family physician.

Ive called at least 20 times in the past 2 days trying to get a BCBS referral. Ive gotten through one time, and gotten voicemail the rest. The referral I got was only made valid for one day. Please hire front desk workers to answer the phones.

Found this practice through bcbs insurance page for find doctor and it said they were accepting new patients. When I called to make an appointment they wanted to know what meds Im prescribed. They wanted to call me back after talking to the nurses to approve me as a new patient. 4 days later they called to say I wasnt accepted as a new patient. If youre looking for a family doctor save yourself time and call another practice. I was able to get an appointment elsewhere without waiting to be approved...

Dr. Honeywell of Creekside Family Practice is our familys physician. We love his gentle manner, humor, and caring bedside manner, but behind all of that is an extraordinarily skilled physician. The staff at Creekside is personable and helpful. The billing is accurate and the accounting staff are very helpful in filing with the insurance providers. The lab is fast and efficient without appearing to be unduly rushed. Test results are called in to us on the day following the lab test. Because we are existing patients, there was a time when we have been given priority when we experienced immediate medical emergencies and it did save my husbands live. However admittedly we try not to repeat the use of this extraordinary privilege. They are a great team and we highly recommend them.

My son has been a patient of Dr Honeywell, for over 16 years. Hes seemed to be a very caring Dr. But when my husband passed away last October my insurance changed. And with that their attitude changed. My deductibles were billed to me and left me confused. Dr. Honeywell ordered his staff to make me pay any do amounts before they would see my son each time he had an appointment. Being on a fixed income this is difficult. But my son needing his medicine was more important so I would scrounge up the money and pay it.All of that is not too big of an issue until the last appointment before he had changed primary doctors. he was getting ready to go off to college and they refuse to see him unless I paid a no-show fee that I had canceled prior to them claiming that I owe them $50 for the no-show. keep in mind I have showed them the text where I had called and cancelled the appointment they still claim I owe them the money. And refused to sign off on an immunization form he needed for college. Not knowing, I could have had it signed by any physician, they were willing to ruin his chances of going to college. For a $50 no show fee?!! This is a doctor that has been seeing my son for nearly 17 years! Never having a problem collecting any deductibles( although late sometimes, due to the fact I wasnt aware...)and getting paid through the insurance company. It breaks my heart that Dr. Honeywell held captive a piece of paperwork over $50! Especially, the lack of compassion that Honeywell has expressed with a loss of my sons father, and my husband.16+ YEARS!!!Although, this explains why the office does not accept Medicaid. Pretty sure its because Medicaid will only pay so much.So my opinion, their compassion go only as deep as your wallet.

Dr. Honeywell is a very caring physician and that is certainly what we ALL need! Hes been my primary care physician for about 3 years now...and hes great with working things out & talking about symptoms, etc. that may/may not be going on with me to get to the bottom of any health issue. Most importantly, he -nor his nurses- never make my visit feel rushed (even though I know hes a busy man!) and seems so genuinely concerned in making me better when Im not 100%.Thankful I have Dr. Honeywell!(p.s. there used to be a rude desk nurse problem...not sure if it was an organizational problem or what, but it was resolved and hasnt been a problem in a long time, which means they listen to their patients and make changes when needed to improve their services--which says a lot!)

Thank you Dr. Haskall for calling me on a Sunday concerning my labs, I went to the ER to get my Blood sugar lowered. Your care and concern may have been a blessing in disguise. I have a massive headache from getting my sugar lowered so quickly, but thank you again so much.Jeremy Douglas, Patient of Dr. Ohalloran

I see all staff there as kinfolke except one who actually is blood. My doctor is Lon Haskell MD as well as him being that of certain blood of mine. All fellow patients are kind, trustworthy and polite as well. Thus I expect young guns often present. But the lab is not somewhere many people choose to work long term due the the general relationship between staff and patients -SGD

Dr Honeywell is the only doctor I have seen that goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are seen when they need care. I was recently hospitalized for a sever asthma attack and after my return visit Dr Honeywell squeezed me into his already busy schedule multiple times to make sure I was taken care of. Hes awesome.

I was a patent of Dr. Kinzer for over 10 years. During the last year, he was seeing me regularly to monitor my physical health while I was receiving therapy for PTSD. When I went to my last appointment, the staff said I wasnt scheduled. They said I could be seen if I could prove I had an appointment but, otherwise, I would have to reschedule. I didnt have my appt card, so I couldnt prove anything. When I got home, I found my card and called the office. I explained to Dr. Kinzers nurse, Kathy, what happened and said the incident was causing me difficulty because of my PTSD and trust issues. She was completely unapologetic and said I just had to get over it and move on. That very day, Dr. Kinzer dropped me as a patient because his staff said I had a tantrum. I did not have a tantrum. I explained I was having trust issues because of my PTSD and I asked if I could speak to Dr. Kinzer about it, but Kathy said he refused. To be so ugly and disparaging to a patient with a known medical condition shows the true uncaring nature of Dr. Kinzer and his nurse.

Ive been going to Creekside for about 18 months. The doctor I see is good, which is ultimately the only important reason for being there, but Im not satisfied with the wait time in the exam room, the wait time in the lab, or the wait time trying to pay a bill over the phone. They need to find a way to improve their operations.

Creekside has been great to me, and very prompt with appointments and calls. Though I did have to wait a very long time on my first visit, I later figured out (at least I think) that the established patients were given priority. After that visit Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room, or around 20 at the lab (that was a particularly busy day, to be fair). Dr. OHalloran is kind and knowledgeable, and actually seems to care about whole body health which is wonderful! Most other docs Ive been to look for symptoms to treat, but Dr. OHalloran assesses the whole system. Prescriptions have been called in promptly and correctly. Im thankful to have found a great primary care office :)

I would first like to say, that Dr. OHalloran is an excellent doctor. I have been going to him for a couple years a least. He has always been great. However, his front desk staff, and Creeksides rules, are the pits. Their front desk staff are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unknowledgeable about anything that goes on in the office. If you call to check up on something, and require a call back, they will never return it. They will not let you schedule an appointment for a future day, you have to call the day you want to be seen. Not only that, but good luck getting seen. I have sat forever in the waiting room, and usually spend an hour and a half before I ever see him. This last time, I never did. I told them I had to leave, I had to return to work, and they told me I would have to pay a cancellation fee, for an appointment they set up a few hours earlier, knowing they were running several hours behind. They did not even have the courtesy to tell me beforehand that they were short staffed and running behind. After leaving, they then mailed me a letter telling me they will no longer see me as a patient. Glad to see they are here to make money over helping people. I will find a doctor who actually cares about seeing his patients, not just taking their money.

After moving to the Huntsville area a little over two years ago for my husbands R&D career, it was alarming to discover the degradation of quality medical care here. I have a few ongoing medical issues with my kidneys and my heart, as well as chronic migraines, so it was vital to find a good GP, and fast. After about six months of suffering one disappointing GP after another, I was telling a (then) new Huntsville friend how overwhelmed I was trying to find just one decent doctor seeing new patients, and she recommended Dr. Chris OHalloran. She and her husband had been seeing him since their R&D transplant from Texas two years before us. Dr. OHalloran, she said, stops at nothing to get to the bottom of whats going on with you. She went on to say that together she and Dr. OHalloran had discovered the root cause of her own migraines and was treating her with a preemptive medication that had cured her condition. She also said that her husband had begun having trouble with his heart, and that Dr. OHalloran knew exactly the place to refer him for excellent treatment.Thankfully, Dr. OHalloran was seeing new patients, so for well over a year now I have been able to see for myself, time and time again, that my friends recommendation was on point. He truly is an outstanding physician with a very friendly aura, and he has an answer for almost anything; and when he doesnt, I can assure you he will know who does. (Just be prepared for a fast talker! :D )(PS: my friend also sent us to an *amazing* dentist: Dr. Ernest Barnes, III. Imagine Foghorn Leghorn as a dentist and thats him.)
