I became aware of Dr. Maples when he performed surgery on my wifes right leg earlier this year. Around Easter my wife fell at home and broke the bones of her lower right leg. He discharged her after about 10 days from Huntsville Hospital. after Rehab and several weeks at home, my wife fell at home again, broke her collar bone, re-irritated her healing right lower leg, fractured two ribs, and bruised her right leg knee. You guessed it. We went right back to Dr. Maples, as my wife wanted it to be. Part of the reason my wife wanted to be treated again by Dr. Maples could be that his office sending my wife a small planter while she was still recovering at Huntsville Hospital from her broken leg surgery was the convincing act.Also, you may understand where I will be going to have my knee replacement procedures performed.W. Dr. Maples is a super surgeon and has excellent bedside manners. He took all the time necessary to answer my questions regarding my recent knee replacement surgery. This was after he spent a day in surgery and the time with me went past the normal work day time period. I recommend him for any knee surgery!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Maples took the time to listen to my issue and he answered all my questions in a caring professional manner. He eased my mind with his knowledge of my condition. Two thumbs up.

Dr Maples PA did a fine job---I did feel my wait time in the room was a bit excessive--I sat, alone, in a stuffy room for over 25 minutes...I understand that things can be backed up---but no one checked on me for all that time...The PA looked at my Xray--listened to my knee problems and verified everything I was suffering from....He gave me a injection and a follow up appointment--everything I needed...

North Alabama is lucky to have a orthopedic surgeon of Dr. Maples caliber . I had a knee replacement that was a total failure performed by someone else . Dr. Maples redone it and I was back to normal in three weeks . he is pretty amazing.
