Dr. Hicks is truly AMAZING! I was upset the first time I visited her office. I had a long wait and had other things I needed to do. But once I was called back, she asked questions and examined me. She was very thorough. She listened to me and explained every thing I inquired about. I was very relieved and no longer upset. She gives every patient the same amount of time, and you are never rushed. Thanks Dr. Hicks for allowing us more than 5 minutes for a visit. You are WONderful!

I dont usually leave reviews, but this doctor really is unprofessional. First of all, I scheduled an appointment for the first time on a Tuesday morning, which was around 9:45AM I believe. It took the doctor over an hour to see me. I went there for a check-up. Even though I was getting waited on, it still took her almost and hour and a half to 2 hours to see the others who might have come in a little bit after me. She seems to be the only doctor whos back there, and that was the same case the second time I went. Secondly, I needed to see a psychologist, and my insurance requires that I get a referral from my primary doctor, which is her. The psychologist office called her several times, but gave her the run around each time. I skipped class one day to visit her because they told me that I needed to go there personally to get the paper work filled out. I went there, and she told me that she would have my form filled out Monday morning (I went there on a Friday afternoon). My psychologist office called me that same morning saying that they did not get a referral from her, even after several weeks of attempting. Sad to say, but I would not want her as my primary doctor ever again, and I wouldnt refer anyone to see her.

This is the most unprofessional doctors office I’ve ever stepped foot in. It’s a hit or miss if they answer the phone and whoever they have answering the phone will tell you any kind of lie to get you off of the phone. I was hospitalized last month and dr hicks didn’t come to my room to release me until 11pm. What put the icing on the cake for me is after being released I needed to show documentation for work. I called there everyday just to be lied to and told it was done when she hadn’t even printed the papers. It wasn’t until 3 weeks later I took the time to miss more work and physically go up there and watch her print off the papers and fill them out. That is absolutely ridiculous that I had to chase her down like that when I was told by the “receptionist” that it was done. I am stressed out about this and plan on taking this further with the BBB. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR HICKS TO ANYONE.

This office is a joke if you schedule a appointment call the day before and the day of the appointment are you might be the only one at the Dr office bring a copy of your medical records even if you already been seen before because they cant find any record of your last visit are medical history even tho they are link to Huntsville hospital data if you are over weight hope you dont suffer from depression because she might just prescribe you to a suicide ward if you care about your health and rather not be talked down to find another Doctor

I took my mother to her appointment at 10:45. There were 4 other patients when we walked in for an 11:00 appointment. 40 minutes later the door to the doctors rooms still hasnt been opened. This being the second visit my mother had with vivian she asked one of the other patients if this is normal to which she replied yes an hour is the normal wait time. Two patients left the rooms and two more were let in. We asked how long before my mother could be seen at 11:45 and were given a response of a few minutes. After 15 minutes at 12:00 we asked for a reschedule. Never have i had to wait longer than 30 minutes let alone over an hour to see the office door open. They over book and have the patients wait an hour minimum to be seen. I was told by my mother that in her first visit she was berated about her wieght. She used to be bigger but has gotten down to around 190. The doctor wasnt satisfied with her weightloss and kept reiterating how obese and unhealthy she was and how she needed to be 120. TLDR: dont choose this office if you value your time or you should show up an hour late because you would still be waiting on your appointment.

Most unprofessional place I ever been to. I wouldnt take your dog here. Takes forever to be seen and forever to even get my parents medications refilled. Office need to be closed down.
