Dr. Wiles has some of the best bedside manner that I have ever experienced with a physician. I was super nervous about getting surgery and he took the time to explain everything in detail to help me feel more confident about the procedure. I was given the proper medications to help with pain management, my only issue and it wasn’t his fault at all is that with nausea I should’ve been given anti-nausea tablets to dissolve under the tongue or a suppository since I was vomiting a lot post surgery. However, everyone is different and it’s hard to predict how people will react to anesthesia. The after hours doctor Dr. Boyett was quick to return my call and took time out of his evening to work with my Pharmacist to get my nausea under control. It’s rare finding dedicated medical staff these days, and I feel like I was blessed with an outstanding team. I hope I won’t need surgery again, but if I do I will use General Surgery Associates.

Procedure was explained to me in detail during my office visit. Great bedside manner. I experienced no problems during and after my surgery. Would recommend Dr. Wiles. Very personable and easy to talk to and felt comfortable asking questions. Great surgeon.

Dr. Philip Wiles is a great surgeon. I recommend to anyone that needs surgery on hernia. He helped me to be back on my feet again. I cant thank him enough.
