I had problems with my wrist. I had seen other Doctors. I was sent to Dr Maddox and he diagnosed the problem. I had surgery and it was a great success. Thanks to Dr Maddox I have not had another problem. He and his staff were wonderful! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

I would not recommend this doctor. Based on a few minutes of interaction and an X-ray, Dr. Maddox wanted to schedule me for surgery for my “suspected TFCC tear”. This was based off discussion, palpation, ROM exercises, and the speculation of the physical therapist I’d been seeing. He did not want to confirm the diagnosis with an MRI. He claimed that the MRI would be “grainy” and wouldn’t help us see what was wrong. It’s a very good thing that I elected to decline this surgery. My primary care provider did order the MRI, and it turns out that I do not, in fact, have a TFCC tear after all. I received a completely different diagnosis from the radiologist who read my MRI. I find this very concerning that he would immediately jump to surgery without performing the necessary diagnostic tests.
