The only reason I continued to be seen here was for Dr. Ferrante. He is wonderful as a provider but the office staff is the ABSOLUTE WORSE!! They are ALWAYS rude, short and snotty every time I go to visit or call on an appointment. I really hate to let him go on the count of his staff, but I can no longer deal with their TERRIBLE attitudes! Courtney is one of the ones who is ALWAYS rude.

Chronic gastro problems led me here. I saw Dr. Roath. I asked her directly if perhaps my gallbladder could be the problem (the symptoms fit). She dismissed this immediately. I fired her and found a much better doctor who actually listens to me. Turns out it IS my gallbladder. Thank goodness there are other options besides this awful doctor.

Dr. Roath was dismissive and clearly uncomfortable when I mentioned that my naturopath recommended I see a GI Specialist.GI health is not the easiest subject to discuss and her lack of bedside manner made it even more difficult. I had questions that I intended to ask, but I refrained because of her abrasiveness. The appointment felt rushed. I walked away feeling unheard, unseen, and uncared for. She scheduled me for a colonoscopy and endoscopy, but I canceled the moment I got home.I wish I wouldve taken the times to read the reviews prior to my appointment.

Sincere disappointment.. After several attempts to call, leave messages, I never received a returned call. Eventually, I get an appointment, but only because their attitude suggested “to be tired of dealing with me calling.”Culminating event - I call again on 3-15-2021 and my first call was with a rather nicer lady for a dialogue exchange regards an appointment that I had scheduled on 3-31-2021 with Dr. Moglowsky. To evaluate other options for an earlier appointment, she sends me to another person (keep in mind, I always seem to get the voice mail) and without fail, I indeed get the voicemail. Frustratingly, I call back only to be confronted by older lady who was quite rude and short with me. Unwilling to hear me out to better under my situation, she constantly cuts me off, speaks over me and eventually hangs up in my face. The idea of customer service does not resinate with her. Of the multiple times that I have called up there, it’s strange that’s always her voice that I can always count on to he abrasive, short and without “customer service.” So I canceled my appointment and now I am in search for a customer friendly colonoscopy doctors office.Sincere disappointment...

I called my provider (Cigna), they said this place was preferred provider. They took my insurance $ for a pre-interview, then days before the colonoscopy, they said Id have to pay in full and contact my insurer for reimbursement. Shame on them. ACA covers colonoscopy fully. DONT GO THERE.

Moglowsky and his so called team are incompetent and RUDE. Keep looking. There are several other great colon specialists in the Huntsville, Madison area. His receptionist, Courtney, should be terminated at once.

The Dr is great. But that lady answering the phone is about as pleasant as a toothache. She’s awfully rude and just unpleasant to communicate with.

Once I got the initial consultation, which took some time to get in, I moved quickly in for a colonoscopy and had no problems at all with staff. The staff is wonderful. I appreciated them with telling me what was going to go on and what I should expect. My doctor is Michael Brown. Slight man with a very monotone voice. He knew exactly what he was doing. Very to the point but caring in his own way, I could only give them a 4 star however, due to accounting. I had a procedure 7/05/17 and now half way through November I am still having bills come in from it. I try to call and talk to accounting but the phone calls are never returned and they do not answer. I wish to get this paid and be done. Come on accounting!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Roath and her nurses. I have had some pretty bad experiences with doctors being very dismissive and has been refreshing to find a doctor and nurses who genuinely seem to care. I feel like Dr. Roath and her staff have always listened and have never pushed medication or anything on me that I was not comfortable with. While sometimes I may have to wait longer then I would like, Im still giving them 5 stars for the care Ive received. I feel like they have gone above and beyond by serving me in a way even my primary care is not

I recently had an appointment at the Huntsville Center for Colon and Digestive Disease. I spoke to Dr. Roath for a total of 5 minutes and she sent me down the hall to have blood work done. A few weeks later I received a bill in the mail from Huntsville Hospital for a total of over $500. I was shocked and upset about receiving this bill because I have very good insurance and I should not have been billed. I called my insurance company today and they contacted the Colon and Digestive Disease office where they informed my insurance company that they billed me because they did not have my insurance on file. I find that hard to believe because I gave the lady at the front desk my insurance card and I watched her make a copy of it. I believe that they were just trying to trick me into paying them the $500 and had full intentions to take my money and then bill my insurance company. Because of this I will NEVER go back to this office nor will I suggest them to anyone. I am writing this review because I am hoping to help someone in a similar situation. I have no doubt that this business takes advantage of people regularly and sends their patients bills that they do not have to pay. I believe that this company is taking advantage of their patients and that concerns me. I hope that this review helps someone! Dont let this business take advantage of you!

Madison location, Dr. Billings - I wish I would have read these reviews before coming here. We waited an hour just to go back. When i asked if we would be waiting much longer, the admin at the desk said, Well, youre seeing a specialist, so thats how it is. I can understand a 20 or 30 minute wait, but an hour is ridiculous. When we finally saw the doctor, it was about 3 minutes of discussion and he said he wanted to put my husband on dexilent and go through their own private pharmacy because they spend hours on the phones with other pharmacies to get preauthorizations for prescriptions. I called BS on that. I take several prescriptions and have taken several PPIs (both generic and name brand) and have NEVER had an issue with preauthorizations. He pushed back on using their pharmacy over ours and we asked for a generic PPI and for it to be sent to our local pharmacy. He scheduled him for an endoscopy and we were on our way.Overall, unimpressed with the staff and unimpressed with the doctor. The smoke and mirrors about only using their pharmacy created a weird level of mistrust. I wish he would have taken more time to listen to the patients complaints and discuss possibilities in both medication and diagnosis.

Dr. Moglowsky was completely , utterly rude, arrogant and uncaring. I have Multiple Sclerosis in a wheelchair. He was making accusations and never ask my issues I was having. As a matter of fact he went on old records trying to diagnose. Would never recommend to anyone ever.

I absolutely cannot recommend them! This isnt a complaint about filling out the wrong forms or not knowing how to read my paperwork. Save yourself the time, money, hassle, and pain if youre in pain by going to another digestive doctor because youll likely end up there anyways! The doctor was in and out. He barely looked up at me. He stuttered a lot and seemed quite distracted during my first appointment. I should have walked away then but it waa hard getting the referral and I was desperate. His answer, endoscopy and ultrasound. No trying medines. I didnt even get anything for my excessive vomiting. I had my procedure, which was 6 weeks out! Yes, Im in severe pain and throwing up all the time but that isnt important. It showed that I did have a hiatal hernia but that didnt explain the majority of my issues. I also had some abnormalities from the biospy that needed to be looked into. They did one test and it was negative. I got a call about that and basically was told they were done with me. Excuse me? You see something wrong but make 1 effort to figure it out and basically cut me off? I even asked during the last phone call if I needed to try changing my diet. She told me to keep a food journal. Then do what with it? Give it to my dog? Im still in the same position I started in minus a big chunk of money. Well, not really since my new doctor has diagnosed me.I ended up going to Dr. Rice and seeing his nurse practioner who was amazing and attentive. She was able to come up with some theories and send me for testing which has pinpointed the problem and I am getting it fixed now but this should have been done 3 months ago!I guess I was just another insurance to overcharge and not a patient sick and in pain. That or their skill level doesnt go beyond the basics and thats quite scary. Also, when I called to pay my first bill they charged my debit card 2 days later and another 2 days later they charged it again. I am certain it was done intentionally because they were done on two different days as two different transactions and the second one was applied to another bill!
