Do not use this doctor!! My husband had an accident July 2018. This doctor performed surgery on him January 2019 on his knee. Apparently he shouldn’t have had surgery because of his rheumatoid arthritis. Geico wouldn’t cover the surgery and handed over a peer report. There doctor said the surgery wasn’t necessary. Since we were told just wait it out and my husband kept going to this doctor to get his knee drained because it’s just not right greico paid everyone else but the surgeon and our benefits ran out. My husband landed back in the hospital in February 2019 with a massive life threatening infection because this doctor did not act right away. My husband could have died and then of course he was out of work and on iv antibiotics at home. Now the surgical facility and weissburgs office reported about $25000 on his credit report and put him with a collection agency. This doctor actually turned to me after the second operation and said I don’t know what’s wrong with this guy. His surgery caused more damage to my husband’s knee. I told my husband don’t go with this doctor. God I wish he listened to me. So anyone that reads this you should listen to me too.

Do not bring your kids or go this doctor yourself. He is extremely negligent and lazy with his job of diagnosis and finding your injuries. He wrote off my muscle tear as growing pains* for 4 years when I was in highschool which then turned into a full on SLAP tear so big that my shoulder was able to pop in and out of being dislocated and a herniated disc in my neck due to my body having to pick up the slack from my injury. I went to him multiple times for these injuries and he did nothing more than a baseline MRI and acted like I was dramatic teenager who couldnt handle pain. The first time I went to another orthopedic they immediately did the proper testing and found my various injuries from this doctors inability to properly do his job.

Dr. Weissberg is very nice and a great doctor. The office itself was quick and helpful and easy to work with. Definitely would go back if I need help with anything.

I was a patient here for a year for surgical and nonsurgical treatments. I have no complaints about the medical care but the confusion and poor communication were disappointing and stressful. For example, the doctor offered me a treatment that the office staff didnt even know about; they have an email contact form on their web site that the office staff doesnt answer because they dont know about it; phone messages go unanswered; apparently because I self-paid for my surgery they were completely confused and actually cancelled my surgery on the day I paid; and after my surgery the doctor didnt even talk to me about how it had gone before I was sent home. I was able to straighten out all these issues but unfortunately I really did not feel that care is a top priority... I dont understand why things are that way....maybe they forget that for each person going there needing surgery, your body, your lifestyle, confidence and happiness are at stake and that helping make things easier for patients on the business end really helps with the whole experience. I would prefer a practice that takes a more actively caring whole-patient approach.

The doctors office is a group of very caring and talented professionals. Everyone from front desk, billing, scheduling, and the PA is very skilled. The Doctor is generous with his time and compassionate. I was fortunate to be referred to him. When you have a serious health issue you want peace of mind knowing your in the right place. THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE. The team here is complete. The captain is Dr David Weissberg a truly highly skilled surgeon and is setting higher bar in his field of medicine.

After going for 2 prepaid and self paid PRP procedures, I received a bill which I asked for clarification on. Instead of responding to me, they sent me to collections and were very nasty when I complained about it. What a way to treat a paying and loyal patient. Dont go to this Dr. if you are not looking for similar treatment.

Dr.Weissberg and his staff are fantastic. Hes a straight shooter who wont push for surgery if he truly believes you can recover without it. Definitely down to earth, and a phenomenal doctor. Highly recommend seeing him if you need an orthopedist.

Doctor Weisberg has been caring for me nearly 10 years. I had several surgeries due to a car accident. I currently am getting pain management. Jen is a fairly new addition to the practice and she has cared for me Since she has come on board with compassion and professionalism that I would expect for anyone. The entire staff has always been helpful and courteous. Dr Weisberg listens to your concerns and has never made me feel that my concerns did not warrant a visitI would recommend and have recommended this practice to friends and family

The woman at the front desk could not be more rude. She is rude to every single person that walked in there to speak to her when their is no one else to even speak to. I actually had to start going else where because she just had an awful attitude and couldn’t sit in there watching her disrespect people and barely even lift her head to speak. Tom is great though. Five stars to him just not worth getting past this lady to him

Doc works with you. He helps come up with the best choice/ treatment for you. Avoids drastic surgery’s if not needed.. my left knee has been a issue . After slamming into a engine at work he did all he can do to avoid knee replacement. Doc took me to the end and I’m very grateful to of had him for my orthopedic surgery. He cares for his patients..

I’ve been going to Long Island Orthopedic Solutions for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is extremely helpful and the Doctors are spectacular. Minimal wait for appointments and a very clean and safe office.

Very happy I brought PA Tom Heinisch into my chiropractic office to comanage certain cases. Having been in practice over 20 years, it is important for me to only work with professionals who provide the highest standard of care. Tom is pleasant to work with, makes everyone comfortable and explains things to patients in a way they can understand. He is thorough and provides appropriate solutions for both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, their orthotist has fitted patients with necessary supports and braces as needed which has been very convenient, and expedites recovery. They are a great team to work with, and I am glad I brought them on board!

Dr. David Weissberg and his team are amazing people, I just recently had surgery on my left rotator cuff, They treated me so kind, and they are very professional, my transition from surgery went smoothly, I followed everything they told me to do after my surgery, I would highly recommend coming to the orthopedic solution center for your care, I have recommended many people already, The building is so clean and it is a warm inviting Environment.

I had the opportunity to work for Dr.Weissberg as a surgical Coordinator and supervisor. I have been in the healthcare field for over 9 years and deeply regret working for this practice. He is a great surgeon in the O.R but has no bedside manner. The way he runs his office is absolutely questionable. I have experienced 1st hand harrassment from friends of his that would often come to visit him in his office nothing was ever done about it. Dr. Weissberg could never be spoken to, it was as if speaking to him was a crime. One day i needed to inform him about a patient, i was told i dont want to hear it and a hand was put in my face in front of the entire staff, everyone was mortified by the complete disrespect. Patients are basically hussled, i was told to schedule as many patients as possible, even if surgeries were not yet approved from their insurance, injections are given without correct authorization resulting in patients having to pay for services that were never requested for approval. Patients here are definitely treated as cash cows trying to see as many as they can for the money. During covid we were told we would only be allowing up to 20 patients in a day and were seeing well over 50 in a day increasing our risk to exposure. Dr. Weissberg and his management do not care about the patients or staff, there is very much a lack of empathy and respect for people at this office. Oftentimes people in these positions get away with stuff like this. I am here to let everyone know the truth about whats really going on at this practice along with other illegal activities.

Excellent care through a difficult surgery and recuperation process. Dr. Weissberg is a wonderfully skilled surgeon. His P.A. And office staffing are caring and attentive. No one enjoys surgery, but this tram made it a lot easier to navigate.

Dr Weissberg listens carefully with great concern to be sure he grasps all that is going on with the patient. When the patient finishes describing his/her ailments andcondition, Dr Weissberg shares his opinions and suggested actions in a clear simple manner. He makes sure his ideas are fully communicated and gives a chance for further clarification. He does all of this with personality, integrity and appropriate authority.....because, you see, Dr Weissberg is excellent at all aspects of his job - doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Weissberg is compassionate, knowledgeable and really cares about my well being. In both January and February I was stopped at a traffic light and was rear-ended by someone who was texting. The second time I was hurt pretty badly. Dr. David sent me to Proactive Physical Therapy where I am getting excellent treatment. Furthermore, Dr. David prescribed a pain cream called Dr Mix, which is remarkably effective. He listens to my concerns and is very reassuring. I believe he is committed to excellence in his work. Stacey is the front office is wonderful. And, I have never waited more than 5 minutes from arrival time to see the good doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Weissberg.

The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. Dr. Weissbergs expertise, along with PA Jennifer Conenna, have allowed me to continue to play competitive sports into my 50s even after multiple knee, elbow and shoulder surgeries.

Couldnt have been happier with the results of my shoulder surgery. Not only is the doctor great, but so is the PA and all the other staff. They took the time to explain what was wrong, what was going to happen the day of the surgery, what to expect after, and listened to all of my concerns along the way. Flexible hours, very short waits for an orthopedic office. Highly recommend this them.
