All the employees are eager to please. Frames are of a higher quality than most eye glass providers, could be a bit pricey but well worth the investment.

Dr. Berliner is a caring and knowledgeable professional. He prescribed glasses and visual exercises for dizziness, double vision, and tracking problems which were due to an accident. I’m 52 yrs old and I went to a handful of eyes doctors in my area. I was still searching for my favorite doctor until I see Dr. Berliner. He is warm, professional, caring, knowledgeable, all the characteristics I’m looking for in a good doctor.I walked into his office at the end of day after long hours working on computer. Like everyday else, I got a headache, red eyes, sore neck. I walked into his office and wondering if I would walk out with just a piece of paper like at the other places. But Dr. Berliner said he will help me. Such simple words immediately gain my trust. And yes, he spent time to do all the tests, explain throughly, he let me try the eyes drop, etc. I told him I wish I know him 10 years ago. I guess my search for a perfect eyes doctor is end here. I can’t thank him enough for everything. In the end, I walked out of his office with more than just a piece of paper.

My sister has been going through serious eye problem since 10/2017. She was unable to see the big E on the eye chart (it happened suddenly). After many Intensive Laser treatments and eye injections and cataract surgery her vision wad improved but no wear near perfect.Finally we met Dr Berliner, he is not only professional, caring, friendly but an blessed with the gift of being a miracle worker. I have been going to this practice for many years. They always have cutting edge testing equipment. I am a senior; when it was time, they referred me to a retina specialist. If I ever have a floater, I can go to this practice 7 days a week, and they always have a retina specialist on call. When my children were younger, I started bringing them to the optometrists there, and I found that the children got a more thorough exam than at an ophthalmologist. When my older daughter was a young teen and wanted contact lenses, the private eye doctor had no patience with her and told her she was not a candidate for lenses because she didnt take to them at once. The contact lens person at Dr Berliner was wonderful, and my daughter had no problem getting contact lenses. Whenever I need an appointment, I can get one quickly, and I am taken promptly. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Berliner is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about his patients and takes time to explain and explore various options that suits your needs. My mist recent visit, he recommended the Dailies Total 1 brand of contact lens and they work great. They are extremely comfortable and are a better healthy option.

I was extremely happy with the amount of detail and thoughtfulness that Dr. Berliner provided during my exam. I am legally blind in one eye and therefore require a bit more patience and consideration for my overall visual needs. He was very thorough and made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving.

Before I even met Dr. Berliner, he began to impress me (I observed him working with a mentally and physically disabled patient). From my own experience, I can attest to his unparalleled skills in client communication as well as his ability to achieve my unique health-vision objectives I wanted from my visit. It was really great. I walked in for glasses and got a walk-in appointment right away. The eye technician was very kind and patient and asked me about all the problems I was having. I saw Dr. Robert Grzesiak for an eye exam and contact lens fitting and I couldnt be more pleased with his service. Upon my exam, I let the doctor know that I previously had issues with wearing contacts and was hoping to give them a second try. Dr. Grzesiak spent a lot of time with me during the exam, trying several lenses to insure the perfect fit. I had a lot of questions for him and he took his time answering all of them. After the first exam, I was provided with a generous amount of samples so I could be sure the new lenses were a good match. At the follow up exam, he again did a thorough exam to ensure they were still fitting properly. If you are looking for a very thorough exam and a professional eye doctor, I would highly recommend Dr. Grzesiak and his staff. Eleni was the technician I saw and she was also very professional and helpful.

I lost sight in one of my eyes nearly 20 years ago due to keratoconus. The cornea specialist that I saw at the time told me that the only hope was for a cornea transplant. He tried using a hard contact lens but it was unsuccessful so I was resolved to living without sight. Recently, I returned to the cornea specialist, who referred me to Dr. Berliner. I was very hesitant, based on the results of my history with a hard contact lens, but agreed to meet with him only because his office was close to home. Dr. Berliner said that my sight was so bad that there were no numbers to associate it with. He explained my options and asked me to test out a lens. Because he was so nice, I allowed it but was shocked to be able to read the letters on the chart for the first time in 20 years! Despite the lens not being covered by my insurance, I was sold on it. Within a short amount of time, he had me fitted for the lens and Ive been wearing it for over a month now. Dr. Berliner did the impossible by restoring my sight to 20/20. To be honest, I now see better in my bad eye with the lens than in my good eye that was 20/20. Thank you Dr. Berliner.

Dr. Berliner has saved my life. For over 50 yrs I was wondering what is wrong with me?When I first came to see Dr. Berliner he asked me some questions about my learning disabilities and instantly after all my life of suffering came to an answer, my eyes are slipping. Or as I know it as painful jumping all over a page when I tried to read in the past. We are continually work on improving my ability to steady my eyes with focus therapy and with my ADD slowing down my thought process. I am proof that with doing the home work religiously everyday that you can get better. He has taught me so much about this disability and myself. Used to be a decent optical place, but their latest hire, Dr. Jack Fried is a complete disappointment. He makes false promises, misleads you, shows zero interest in his work, and is not open to discussing your concerns. This place settling for mediocre staff is a big red alarm to avoid at all costs. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Dr is a terrific optometrist, but he is more than just that. My family has been seeing Dr Berliner for over 20 years. Recently I was diagnosed with a Cornea condition that took away a lot of my eyesight. Glasses and regular contacts would not work. I was fitted with Scleral lenses and my vision is back to 100%. Dr Berliner will take the time to understand what the problem is and show you treatments available. He is the only Optometrist anyone should see.

There was a brief, four minutes, waiting time. I receive a comprehensive examination by a qualified staff who exercised every manner of care and sensitivity to my concerns regarding my vision. As I am blind in one eye Dr. Berliner and his staff took every measure to insure both the long trem health and safety of my vision.I was subsequently prescribed eye glasse that satisfied my need for reading, working on the computer while also providing clear distant viewing. Just had an eye exam with Dr. Grzesiak.. I have learned 2 things today 1) Get your eyes tested if you have that nagging headache that just won’t go away - even that pain in the back of your neck and behind your ears - yes that could your eyes playing up!!!!2) it’s Ok to get emosh 😭 when Dr. G gets your prescription on point, its a great feeling having relief from the constant headache - I have missed a lot of family outings because of these headaches.Can’t thank you enough Dr. Grzesiak!

I still can’t believe I’m wearing contacts comfortably again after so many years. I had given up! Since I began wearing bifocals years ago I could never get the right balance of near and far sighted lenses all these years. I tried LenaCrafters at the recommendation of my son. I explained my issues and discussed my needs and Dr. Grzesiak and he said he would fix everything. I was sceptical but holy cow! Well, he did and I am a believer. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Schnurs for over 10 years. There is no one else I would trust more with my familys different needs.Dr. Schnur is not only an expert in his field but also an extremely caring one who takes the time to truly know his patients. For example, Dr. Shnur introduced my son to CRT lenses and it has changed his life. Recently, we needed to send a pair of lenses to Barcelona and were faced with government restrictions on sending lenses abroad. Dr. Schnur went above and beyond to help us in this matter and I know we would not have been successful without him. He is an amazing doctor and terrific practitioner!

I had made an appointment to see Dr. Brian Berliner at Lens Crafter in the Walt Whitman Mall because it had been a while since I had my glasses prescription updated and wanted to see about contacts. I showed up like 15 minutes early and was called in for some testing after filling out some paper work. The woman who ran the tests was very nice and explained what each test showed as she did it. I waited less than 10 minutes to be called in by Dr. Berliner. He compared my current prescription to what it should be at which was a real “eye opener”. He carefully explained the differences (positives and negatives) between the different types of contact lenses that he offers and I settled on CRT lenses, which sounded really awesome because I get to wear them at night and take them off during the day. Dr. Berliner took his time with me so I didn’t feel rushed and seemed very genuine and caring to what type of contacts best suited my life style. I would definitely recommend Dr. B erliner AND CRT lenses for anyone who is sick of wearing glasses or doesn’t like having contacts in all day. CRT lenses have been a real life changer since I started them 3 months ago.

I was there this afternoon to get an eye exam to see if my prescription needed to be updated so I could get a nice pair of reading glasses at Lenscrafters who shares the location. My insurance covers exams 100% which is why I went there over my eye doctor closer to my home who was not on my insurance plan or avail on a weekend. I was forced into signing and agreeing that to do the exam they had to do a mandatory retinal imaging at a $39 co-pay. I advised that I was only looking to get the covered refraction exam so I could get my prescription renewed and order glasses from Lenscrafters. I also contacted a relative who is a neuro-ophthalmologist and head of a department of ophthalmology in another state. He explained that it is totally un-necessary to have that retinal imagery done and that they could do a comprehensive eye exam without it. I went back in and the optometrist refused to do the exam without the retinal exam. Totally dissatisfied. I wasted my time traveling there to only find out the exam would be refused because I refused to pay $39 for a test I did not want or need. Guess this is how they make money.
