Nice quaint museum which primarily captures the history of Surfing in Huntington Beach and the NSSA. A nice collection of boards and recognition of local and pro surfers accomplishments. Very modest admission fee and free for US military vets.

I absolutely loved this place for my son and you cannot beat the view! We werent to crazy about the price being just as much for our 15 month old son as it was for an adult but once we entered and saw everything he was able to do, I was thoroughly impressed!

By far a totally tubular experience being there, looking at pictures of the old schoolers gettin down on some iconic surf spot, Tom Curran, a very young Kelly Slater, just brings back cool memories of buying a Surfer Magazine when I was 10 or 12, going surfing early mornings. The Huntington Beach International Surf Museum is a must see, try to go when theres a Surf competition going on at the Pier. So theres more eye candy. 🤙👣🤙

I was looking forward to checking out the museum today when visiting Huntington Beach. I followed the sign on the main boulevard, unfortunately couldn’t find the sign of the museum or entrance, I followed the main directional signpost again and again couldn’t find the building or entrance.Such a shame, the reviews are good.Better directional signage required.

I grew up in HB and going to the surf museum, but had not been in several years. I was very happy with the difference and it is still awesome. Exhibits rotate every about 4 months I was told, so make sure to return for different exhibits.

If you come to HB and you are a surfer or not this is a good place to come visit. You can learn the history of surfing and the history of how surfing came to HB. Easy access by foot. Parking is always a nightmare in beach communities but what else did you expect. If you want to get off main st away from the circus of individuals walking around this is a breath of fresh air. I will return

Super small and not worth the price. I mean I guess it seems like a must do when visiting Surf City USA, but they charge you extra to get a tour of the giant surf board outside that you just see from the sidewalk. The woman says two sentences and then leaves you in the parking lot. You have to run around the front if you want to get back in.

The International Surfing Museum is hosting a new Exhibit called SURF/SKATEI believe thats its so exciting to see how skateboards got started. For a small admissions of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 18 and under, 3 and under is free. So come on it and get your history on in the surfing culture. You diffenlty will not be disappointed.
