Amigos is a wonderful organization run by a passionate group of dedicated volunteers. My girls love volunteering at the FLOW program and learning more about marine ecology. Id highly recommend everyone take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to engage with your local community.

This organization works continually to protect the wetland and to ensure the community is aware and informed of the issues and importance of this habitat.

Amigos de Bolsa Chica is the group that began the struggle to save the wetlands from becoming 5,000 houses and a marina. The Amigos gives excellent guided wetland tours for schools, scouts and other groups. Amigos de Bolsa Chicas Citizen Science program, FLOW, helps monitor water quality along the Huntington Beach coast and teaches young folk about the importance of wetland and ocean health.
