Dr. Llorente is a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor but staff management leaves much to be desired. Phone is rarely answered and messages are rarely if ever at all returned. Dont bother with contacting the exchange to get a hold of her regarding anything urgent, there wont be an answer this way either. A bit scary when you are concerned about a reaction to a prescription. Prescription refills have to be picked up in person as the office does not fax them in or send electronically. This is a bit of a challenge with Covid. Office hours have fluctuated from open to closed to closed two days here and another two or three days there and even closing early some days, but this information is nowhere to be found.Be warned if you need a prescription refilled, plan at least a couple weeks in advance just to get it. Really unfortunate since she is a good doctor, but the manner in which the office is run has made me want to go elsewhere.

I put up with this doctor for years. She has had the same front office staff for years and they get progressively worse. They can’t be bothered to answer the phone or return phone calls, refills take weeks and sometimes they will schedule a follow up appointment but never add it to the doctors calendar, so when you show up six months later you wasted a trip over there. This is an anti-masker doctors office. No one will be wearing masks and Fox news will be playing in the waiting room. The doctor’s medical advice is far from helpful. Have migraines? You’ll need an MRI, you could have a brain tumor. She orders tons of useless tests and adds dozens of erroneous ICD 10 codes to her patients. It’s no wonder Blue Cross doesn’t want her under contract anymore.

I never got to see the doctor. The first thing I noticed was the chewed and used dog rawhides sitting on a chair in the waiting room. They belonged to the dog that I believe belonged to the doctor that came from the treatment rooms to the waiting room. This is beyond unsanitary. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time and dealing with the dog I left.

The lack of understanding and efficiency by the front office staff is unacceptable - especially when speaking with patients that have health issues. Very disappointing. I felt like a 3rd class citizen.

I absolutely LOVE Dr Llorente!!!!!!! I’ve been going to her for a few years now and I always walk out completely satisfied!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I do find it very difficult to get immediate responses or call backs from the staff within a reasonable timing, tho they are all very kind and pleasant. On Dec 23rd of 2017, I had an urgent issue and I just could not get in to be seen by Dr Llorente. I worry about that even more now that I’m headed onto Medicare. It’s tough getting in to see her, but when I do, I always walk out saying “she’s wonderful and there is no one better than her”!!!! They are all VERY nice I must say!!

My entire family goes to Dr. Llorente. She practices medicine because she really cares, not for the money. She treats the entire body and will tell you what you need to do to maintain or improve your health. She takes the time to explain your lab results and makes notes on your copy. She really listens and respects her patients. She is an expert on diagnosing, and improving thyroid function. The staff is friendly and polite.

I have been going to dr Llorente for over a year and have been very very pleased with her as my Dr. I am a very picky patient when it comes to who I will let be my Doctor and will not go to a doctor who I do not feel is competent. She has shown to be extremely knowledgable, very concerned with my well being, and easy to talk to about medical issues..She has ALWAYS been professional and there for me as her patient..I dont understand the review she has been given so far here on Google by others. I am a real patient giving an honest real review if I did not think she was great I would say that too! I would highly recommend Dr Llorente and I am 100% behind my five stars!

Dr Llorente cares deeply about her patients and takes the time necessary to really understand their malady. I never feel rushed and she spaces out her appointments so she can spend the time. I have never had to wait long in her waiting room. Instead of a sterile office, hers feels homey.

If you want a doctor who does not take your calls, does not receive emails, will not go online to turn in necessary form for you like all other doctors who arent in the dark ages will. Then this is the doctor for you. Im fed up - her facilities is like walking on the set of Lost. There are even tanning booths, 4x3 TVs, VCRs, Yes thats right - VHS tapes and old equipment with knobs and dials that looks like its from the 70s. Her staff is extremely RUDE, uneducated and will even hang up on you. All concerns that you would like to share with the doctor have to go through these staff members as again, she does not take calls. So if they relay your message incorrectly, you may get an entirely off the wall response due to the miscommunication in this office. Really ridiculous experiences here. Im done. Just like the other Google reviewer stated: She doesnt really care about you. That sums it up.

Complete quakery. Ive given Dr. Llorente multiple chances and its the same experience every time. Where to start? Her support staff is rude and atrocious. They make everything ten times more difficult than needed. Its insulting. They are your only conduit to Dr. Llorente and they do what they feel like, when they feel like it, which is usually never, and with attitude. They wander in whenever at their leisure - Ive been outside a locked door waiting for appointments in the morning with no hello or acknowledgment when they finally show up, gossiping the whole time. They work bankers hours, are off every holiday and take two-hour long lunches so no one answers the phone from 12-2 and that usually goes well past 2. They never, ever return calls and rarely answer the phone. The office operates on paper and in the dark ages. They refer to Dr. Llorente as Doctor, which is creepy. As in, Well have to see what doctor says. As for the care from doctor, its quakery. Im very open to non-traditional medicine but she crosses lines and always has a reason why she cant really treat you until next time or until you wait months to take a vitamin or whatever nut excuse she has. I have never ever had her conduct a proper physical exam beyond listening to my heart and taking blood pressure. There is always a minimum 45 minute to hour-long wait or longer. And I dont know why. The waiting room itself and exam rooms look like a flea market with mismatched bulky antique furniture, knick-knacks and random table top ads for skin care and various oddball things. The actual exam room has a creepy old exam table with cringe-inducing wooden and metal stirrups. This thing looks like it came out of an insane asylum in the 1800/1900s. That same room has old vials of dried blood or substance and various old, no, ancient, electronics stacked up in corners and on random surfaces. It looks like a hoarder lives there. Nothing about it feels sanitary. Dr. Llorente has had nice moments with me but has not advanced my health or given me proper care. Its a massive exercise in frustration. Seek modern treatment elsewhere.

Dr Llorente is an integrated doctor that blends alternative medicine with allopathic medicine. She as 5000 patience. She is so busy that it would be impossible for her to take every patience call. If you are nice to her staff they will be nice to you. They are over worked so get to the point. It is best to call at 9:15 or 2:00. If I keep calling I always get through. She is careful not to over prescribe antibiotics. She requires lab test to make sure an antibiotic will work before prescribing it. If you or a family member has to visit HOAG hospital she is the most valuable asset to have on your team. Her patients are loyal, because she is caring and logical in her application of treatment. She treats her patience with respect. The equipment that looks old is the acuscope and myopulse. Google that amazing therapy. She has a Hyperbaric chamber and people donated old video movies for patience to watch during longer treatments. Now she has faster more effective therapies than the Hyperbaric machine. So that equipment is no longer used often. Dr Llorente is always reaching and searching for the latest, fastest, lowest cost, and most effective therapy. Her total charges are often lower than some doctor’s copay. Insurance billing may be a weakness of the practice. They don’t have a dedicated staff member for insurance billing. We don’t have to pay extra for more staff. So, get a super bill from them and submit it to the insurance company yourself. If that doesn’t work for you than find another doctor and let the rest of us who see Dr. Llorente’s value get appointment sooner. It is clear that some reviewers are judgmental without understanding what they are writing about. If you are looking for the latest treatment she will know about it, prolotheropy, GHS, stem cells, ozone; she has tried it all. She understands the pros and cons and has found better treatments. Dr Llorente is my most valued medical advisor. I have been seeing her since 2000 and I have referred many people to her.
