I had to see the specialist for a root canal. The doctor, Pruss I believe was so nice and helpful. The manager was also! They were upfront and honest and helped me make the decision best for me. They didn’t try to get my money, they truly listened and worked out a plan with me based on what I could afford.Would highly recommend! Glad I found a “gentle” dentist and office

I wish there was a zero star. This was the worst dentist experience I have ever had. First I had to wait for almost 2 hours to see the dentist. There was only 1 dentist on staff. I heard him talking to another staff member right outside my door about different restaurants in the area etc while I sat there waiting for him He then came in for about 10 min. and checked my gums. I asked if I was going to get a cleaning and was told that he was recommending some new dental floss machine and a teeth whitening kit and that someone would come in and discuss that with me. soon. I then continued to sit and wait. My husband was in the room next to me and the sales person came in and tried to sell him on this new flossing device and the same whitening tray totaling over 300 dollars. They never gave either of us a cleaning, we just waited there for over 2 hours for them to try and sell us something we didnt need.. Take my advice and STAY AWAY from this place. They dont care about your teeth, just sales.

Its the dentist office... What more is there to say? Not a very fun place, but it is a very clean office and the staff is very helpful and polite. It is located on the corner of Main Street and Townsquare Ln. Next to the restaurant. Im here to get a much needed root canal...FUN TIMES! And I drove all the way here from the IE and will be driving back to the IE on traffic. Yah! You cant choose when tooth pain hits unfortunately!

I came to this office for a cleaning and check up. The front staff was very attentive and nice. I didn’t fell pressured to get things I didn’t wanted. They explained everything to me and gave me a treatment plan. Dr.Tabesh was very friendly and caring. Recommend it.

Office changes staff too much.4 stars for Jessica who works in the front office, the dental assistant, and the doctor. You were all very nice and professional. Wait time was like only 5 minutes and they got to work immediately. Dental assistant listen to me and help me when I was uncomfortable with having my jaw open so long I got tired and she offered this rubber tool to help keep my mouth open. The doctor listened to my complaint I had for many years and help correct it rather then offering me procedures to get it fixed. I am a loyal patient and have been going here for years. I like it here because it’s close to home and convient you get to. So I’ve seen many people come and go. I hope all of the people o interacted with on Saturday stays at this office.

DO NOT COME HERE. Front office made a huge mistake when verifying dental coverage. It wasn’t until weeks after we learned they made a mistake they began billing us way more than what is usual and customary for services rendered. Can’t get in contact with billing department and collection agency won’t budge. Terrible! Beware of over billing and no one willing to help you resolve the issue.

Dentist is great. However, the front desk staff has changed so many times in the last year that there is no follow up to inquiries. They say they are responsible for working with insurance companies on payment and then bill us when they didn’t check with insurance and sends you a large bill you were not told to expect. After multiple phone calls without return calls from the front desk people, i gave up on the office being able to handle a billing problem they created and had to call corporate. Hopefully corporate will be able to get a response provided to me, even if it isn’t to my liking, it’d be nice if I could get a repsonse.

Our family absolutely loves Gentle Dental! Debbie always does an amazing job cleaning my familys teeth. She is so great working with our daughters, ages 3 and 5. They love going to the dentist and seeing her. I highly recommend Gentle Dental!

Do not go here. My insurance covers cleanings at 100%. I came in for a standard cleaning and was charged $135. All they did was scrape and polish - Nothing else... No X-Rays, No Flouride, nothing! Said I had to pay because it was a deep cleaning. 15-20 minutes and less than ANY other dentist I have been to has ever done. This place is a rip off. Going to warn my insurance company this place is ripping them off if they get billed.

No one likes to go to dentist I’m the same but Dr Javan changed that for me with his skills, knowledge and professionalism.my entire process was really smooth, painless and most important for me being comfortable during his work. It was my first visit but I’m taking my wife to him as well from now on

I honesty dont even understand what just happened. I was in this office for almost 2 hours with my son as a new client and they still hadnt performed a cleaning on him before we had to leave. Upon arrival to our appointment there was chaos concerning a homeless person who was occupying the space where the compressor is kept and police had to come to get him out. The receptionist was frazzled and was pretty much that way the rest of the time we were there. Other appointments coming in seemed to be having varying issues with their insurance or with what they had been told over the phone vs what they were being told in person. After leaving my son told me he had been sitting almost the entire time just waiting to be seen by someone and when the dentist did come in it was to go over his insurance coverages and procedures that would need to be done aside from just the cleaning. My son is 17, hence I was still sitting out in the lobby waiting for him and for the insurance information to come my way. Based on the conversations I overheard from clients coming in and over the phone it was like nobody really knew who was who or what was going on. Almost two hours, all they did were the x-rays and said the cleaning and fillings would be another hour. I had to get out of there. My son and I both had a good laugh at the absurdity of our visit, but I also left with some of that receptionists anxiety from the whole scene in there. Maybe it was just an off day...for everyone. But we wont be back.

This place is so shady. They claimed my dental insurance (which is pretty much covered everywhere) wasnt going to cover my fillings and asked for over $2000 for a deep cleaning and fillings. Do not go here! I went somewhere else after and only had ONE cavity and my insurance covered everything.

Very professional and friendly staff in a clean and modern facility. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend this business - I actually drive 13 miles to get there from my house. They are that good!

Front staff is entirely unhelpful. They wont answer questions about billing, just say theyll have to look into it and call you back. Then they never call. Followed up several times and cant get any questions answered.Edit: went to new dentist who was surprised that any deep cleaning was done (which I paid full price for because they lied and said my insurance would cover it). Turns out, dentist sucks as much as front staff.

I love Gentle Dental. I went to them for all my dental needs for the two and a half years that I lived in Huntington Beach. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and I would recommend them to everyone! I just moved, and I am sad that I have to find a new dentist!

Dorothy at the front desk was great about handling confusion with my dental insurance. However, I walked away with a general distrust of the place after my first visit. I have never had a teeth cleaning as painful as the one I received. The staff also seemed to be a little too willing to recommend extra procedures and more things to buy.

I went here at the end of Dec. I didnt even want to give it 1 star but thats not an option. I have dental anxiety. I now travel for months at a time. I wanted to get a cleaning out of town since I was at 6 months since my last cleaning when I made appt and if I waited it would be a year till my next cleaning in my hometown. I clearly put my anxiety issues on my form I filled out and notified the personnel at this new office...several times. After what turned out to be an hour appt with multiple people coming in to clarify I wasnt a walk in and was only there for a cleaning, (made appt a month before & had my dentist office send them my xrays since they are part of the same group/company and 3 reminder text messages from them and me calling that day to confirm appt time.) They were clueless. The dentist came in (after the xrays they insisted I get before any treatment could be done) and spent 2 mins with me asking if I wanted their recommendations...I said only if they see something really wrong like a tooth is going to fall out...He said no but he saw some things concerning him but if I didnt want him to do the work he would leave.(not reassuring for someone with dental anxiety) I said I would have my other dentist look in May if it wasnt urgent and I just wanted a cleaning. He then walked out. 15 mins went by before hygienist came in and spent a few mins going over my teeth. She said I needed a deep cleaning that required 2 appts plus numbing up my gums. I said no because Ive been at the same dentist for 23 years and have had the same gum depth readings and have never been told this. They said once they determine I need a deep cleaning thats all they can do. She then left me for another 10+mins reclined where I think I started to have the blood rush to my head and felt like I was going to pass out so I sat up to put my head between my legs and thats when the anxiety attack started. The front office receptionist came in and asked if I needed anything and I told him I was freaking out. He offered water then left for several mins to get it. I drank it and then he tells me they cant do anything since I wouldnt agree to their cleaning plan. I told him and hygienist I was only in town that day. (which I also explained when I made appt.) So I got up and left. I immediately called my dentist and Insurance company who were both appalled and both told me I did the right thing by leaving. Do not go here if you have any dental anxiety.

The worst dentist Ive ever been to! 5 months ago I went to her worried about an infection - she said I didnt have one. a month later, same thing but when a crown fell off, she said the tooth needed to be removed. I went in every 2 weeks while she kept saying I needed to give it time. Then she sent me to a medical doctor who said it was a dental problem. My NEW dentist was shocked at the infection - both by how old it was and how it had invaded my sinuses which is why Ive been in such pain. It was the tooth NEXT to the one she removed. Next month Im scheduled for an operation to drain my sinuses and this nightmare will be over. All because she a) didnt care or b) cant read an xray. Either way - RUN from this dentist!

I was very confused by my experience here. I was given a print out of the cost of the work I needed done on my teeth without the dentist even mentioning anything about a problem after the exam.I waited about 40 minutes to get my teeth cleaned. When it did finally happen, it felt rushed and not thorough. Afterwards, I had to ask if she was going to floss them. She said she would ask someone else to do it if I wanted it done.This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a dental office.

They wanted to charge around $3,000 for root canal and crown got second opinion, tooth was cracked all the way through would have been a waste of money ,I even mentioned I had bit a bone hidden in my food at restaurant

Normally I give 5 stars but this time when getting a crown I jumped from pain. Dr was drilling in 1 spot too long and even though I was very numb, I had a very sharp pain. Now with my temporary crown, I am having pain in that tooth. The day after I left the office, I had to take extra strength Tylenol a couple times. I have several crowns and this has never happened before.
