I made two appts for my kids. Went both times and got turned away. The first time because the doctor left early and no one informed me until I got there in person. I re-scheduled for another appt this afternoon. Given our busy schedule, had moved all activities around to make time for this and what happens? I was told my appt was at 3:20 and not 3:40. I have on my calendar 3:40pm when I made the appt in person there. Then theres a text confirmation for my 3:40pm. But I cant go in because ??? Please help me understand. Mind you, I made two appts. One for one child at 3:20 and the other for another child at 3:40. How are you not able to take me in on my 2nd scheduled time?? Didnt make effort to help me. Simply told me sorry. This is my 2nd trip there only to be turned away. NO THANKS! I am taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT GO THERE! They are completely incompetent and unapologetic.FYI- I have been going there for years and have only positive experience with the physician. This review is for the people at the front desk doing the scheduling. They do not care that they are wasting patients valuable time.

Scheduled a Covid test for 2 pm and haven’t been seen yet at 3:30. The front desk blatantly lied saying someone was out here administering tests when I can clearly see there is absolutely no living soul out here.

Do not go to their Urgent Care. Despite taking an urgent care copay, they will bill your insurance as a Hospital Visit and send you numerous bills for everything and every person you interacted with. This is NOT an urgent care. They are a fraud to insurance and to you. Youre better off going to the ER over their fake Urgent Care as it will be the same price or cheaper.

The Hoag Breast Center at Huntington Beach is a great facility! It’s inside the Hoag building but it certainly doesn’t feel that way! The Breast Center is more isolated and private. It my first time coming to this facility and I will definitely be coming back for years! The look is very calming inside and the technologist I had was GREAT! I was very anxious and she quickly made me feel better! Then I promptly received an email with my results! I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a great place to get a mammogram! They have early & later appointments available too.

A very, very unpleasant experience. I had to give one star just to post this...Made an appointment the day before online, however I called as I was doing it to make sure an MRI was going to be available. The girl told me yes but they leave around 5. I could only get a 4:38 appointment. Interesting time slot. I also told her my husband has copd and underlying conditions. We went and checked in by car, he had to walk in because their phone kept us on hold so long it hung up on us. Then after another half hour he walked in and they took him back alone. Then back to the waiting room for another 20 minutes to get an X-ray. When I asked a woman about MRIs I was told they were down and have been broken for 2 WEEKS! They sent him back to the waiting room after the x-ray and we were shuffled into a smaller part so they could put the gate down on the part they were closing. The woman began wiping the empty part down. In the section we were in no one able to sit 6 feet apart. In the 2.5 hours we were there not one time did anyone come wipe down seats after patients left. When he began to have an asthma attack the desk girl did not offer a rescue inhaler. (we have blue shield Gold 80 PPO ) Im pretty sure they could have billed it. We walked outside for air and coming back in another girl said they just called you back let me go back in and come get you. we waited. nothing. I then asked James when we would get the results and was told when they had them. I also mentioned that I understood they were busy but no one had cleaned this waiting room in over 2 hours. My husband was choking so we left with no results and no emergency breathing assistance. Now it is 8:46pm and there are no results even on his patient portal. Do not go to HOAG. Its totally pointless not to mention a health hazard.

Went to the urgent care today and the entire staff was all I could ask for! In and out quickly when you’re not feeling great. I think Sav-On actually took longer to get my medication than Hoag took to find the issue and give me a resolution.

Just wanted to make it known that Iris is a wonderful ultrasound technician. She was friendly, good conversation and very professional. I felt like I was important and she was trying to get the best images possible for my doctors review. Had a good experience today and wait time was minimal.

I had the worst experience ever with the prescription refill department. I requested a refill on Friday and by Sunday I was out of. Im on an antidepressant, and you can look up the withdrawal symptoms, but they are terrible. I was throwing up Sunday night, I was nauseous, had the chills, brain zaps, and more. On Monday I still had not gotten a refill and I tried going to work but had to call out because of how bad I felt. I called the refill department and they told me they had put an urgent note on my request, so I continued to wait for my pharmacy to tell me that my prescription was in. Hours went by and nothing. I called my pharmacy and they said they were still waiting on my doctor, so they decided to resend the request so they would see it. So I continued to wait. I finally decided to call the refill department again at almost 6pm. They had apparently sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy at 11am. I told them that because I had not received my prescription I had lost a day of work and was suffering many symptoms. This has been a terrible experience because I went out of my way to make sure my correct pharmacy was requesting a refill, but all they did was send it to the wrong pharmacy and cost me a day of work and a lot of pain and suffering. When I told them that on the phone they hung up on me.

We certainly appreciate Dr. O’Hara, however the operator, Cheryl, who answers the phone for appointments was so incredibly rude that I politely told her, I’ll call back and see if there is someone else to schedule with. She was abrupt, rude and her tone was so unkind. When I misunderstood something she said, she interrupted me and raised her voice, “No! I said, would you like an appointment for tomorrow!” Honestly, I was taken aback. I calmly told her I did not appreciate her tone and that I’ll try again later. She clearly had no problem with this. Very frustrated to not be able to set an appointment because I did not want to lower myself to talking to her the way she was talking to me. If looking for a new provider, I strongly suggest someplace with a more professional, and kind, support staff. Reviews on YELP cite simial experiences over and over.

Having spent a lot of time here over the past two years, I really appreciate the upgrades and renovation done to the facility. Parking is much easier, and the buildings are beautiful. Its quite convenient to have imaging, urgent care, labs and doctors offices in one location.

Had an ultrasound here. The technician was super nice and thorough. Only problem is that our DVD of the ultrasound didnt work on any of our computers. Maybe its a Mac vs. PC issue?
