The new team at Dental Works in Huntersville is awesome. My children and I have been going to this location for four years and this is best team, hands down. Our teeth feel cleaner, the hygienist was nice and informative. The doctor gave valuable information was generally caring and the front office was seamless and courteous. Everyone was nice; we felt welcomed!

I had a horrible experience at DentalWorks - Huntersville. First, when I arrived I was informed that the staff was not in for my appointment so I had to wait an additional 45 minutes before the start of my appointment. Secondly, without asking my consent, they spent nearly 30minutes taking x-rays and images of my teeth for a routine cleaning where I had no signs of any issues. The equipment they use to take the pictures is antiquated. I am pretty sure I got radiation poisoning from it - felt dizzy, nauseous, and increased pressure in my head for days afterwards. A scary thought - stay far away.

Dr. Carver has the hands of an Angel. I’m not a fan of dentist based off horrible experiences in the past but Dr. Carver was amazing and gentle during the entire process. Changed my entire outlook on dental work. She made what would normally be a high anxiety experience for me into one that ended up being much more pleasant than I’ve ever experienced. She’s Awesome!

Dr.Carter and her staff are professional, friendly, good listeners and committed to the care of their patients.Dr. Cater is a great teacher. I like how they are all respectful of each other.

The absolute worst experience in dental care that I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door I noted that the office is not only unprofessional, unorganised, but in addition is not very clean. An entirely chaotic process. Theres zero process or preparation for incoming patients. Especially if you are experiencing an emergency issue. So many details to share about my whole experience. If you have low expectations of dental care go for it. But I can tell you down to the second that I was having a difficult extraction that I was challenged on the level of pain I was continuing to experience by the dentist. I told her repeatedly that I was experiencing exceptional pain in my jaw and she treated me as if I was over reacting, never ONCE asking me questions that would make sense of the situation or even trying to determine if there was an underlying issue, which ultimately THERE WAS!!! THANK GOD I OPTED TO GO TO AN ORAL SURGEON! Do not recommend!!!

I come here for routine cleaning and other dental work. They got me in quick when I cracked a tooth. Dr Carver and the staff are awesome! Highly recommend Dental Works in Huntersville! A+ 👍👍

First of all, the dentist and her assistants are super nice. The dentist is very thorough. Sadly, I wont be returning though. When I started in February as a new patient, I made an appointment for a cleaning. It was cancelled three times by them since then — still havent had it. They would schedule and then like a week before give me a story about their hygienist not being scheduled for that day because of COVID. However, they were able to get me in to replace a crown that I didnt know needed replacing. I was given an estimate for it. And charged double that estimate in the end. In paying my bill online, the URL on the bill they mailed doesnt work. I managed to find the right URL via Google, and the amount in there was $50 more than what I was billed. I paid it just to be finished with this place. Nice people but super sketchy business practices.

Had a really great experience here, staff was amazing answered all my questions and was in and out in no time. Highly recommend.

DentalWorks is the only place that actually makes going to the dentist not so bad. Emily is always professional and very friendly over the phone and in person at the front desk. Everyone you come into contact with are professional. Dr. Carver has some of the best bed side manor and will take the time to sit down with you and explain all your options for any dental treatment you may need. I highly recommend this office to everyone and I am so glad I found them.

The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. The doctors and assistants are very professional and knowledgeable. They do good work and are always a pleasure to see. Dr. Carver and Anne-Catherine are the best!This will be the only dentist office I see after such a nice experience.

The people are nice, but I dont like having to have multiple appointments to even start my crown. Also I am charged an additional $10 fee for the PPE. The PPE was already supposed to be worn but since Covid now I have to pay even more for it! Its not good practice for any dental office to be charging extra for PPE that was already supposed to be worn.

The absolute best dental office I have been to. First I have to say how incredibly smooth and cautious DentalWorks is during this pandemic. The procedures they have in place really make me feel comfortable. They ask pre appointment questions to screen you, take your temperature before you can even walk in the building and everyone in the back was pretty much covered head to toe. This office definitely makes everyone’s safety extremely important but still has the highest quality customer service from the front desk to the clinical staff. I really was extremely impressed with this office and I am so happy I found them.

Would give a ZERO Star review if possible. I came to dental works to have a crown created and placed. Gave my insurance card, receptionist gave me the quote (which would cover in total) and any overage paid would be refunded after insurance. So i paid in full that day. Fast forward a month later and I get my crown placed, amateur job but thats what I expected from Dental Works. Fast forward another 7 months and I receive a random bill for the entire price of the crown and the entire visit, ??? Long story short, dont visit them unless in extreme need and no additional options. Total amateur hour!

I would not go anywhere else! This is the only dental office that I do not dread going to! 5 Stars!

This is the second time I have been to DentalWorks for a 6 month cleaning and they have definitely improved. They have a new permanent dental hygienist and he is very good and thorough. Dr. Devers is excellent. as always. She takes time with her patients and is very knowledgeable.

Want to start off by saying the work they do is good and I felt like the assistants and dentist who I worked with were very knowledgeable and treated me very kindly. My first visit with them went really well and they gave me a run down of every thing I needed. Unfortunately I was told I needed a root canal. I immediately panicked because I knew I couldn’t afford the cost up front so I told her I would likely have to get it pulled instead due to cost. The dentist highly recommended that I save my tooth because my teeth were too beautiful for that. After about ten minutes after being done with my exam, they came back and gave me a run down of what I needed, and specifically stated that they would work with me to help finance the cost of getting my crown if I went ahead and got the root canal because “they care about my oral health and do not want me in pain”. Why would I make this up? I know that it is extremely rare for dentists to allow payment plans and in their paperwork I signed before my exam it states all balances are due at time of procedure, but the only reason I went ahead and scheduled the root canal is because I was made to believe that I could pay for my aftercare in a couple of visits. Long story short, after the completion of my root canal, I scheduled my crown procedure, walked in, where they acted like they never said they would work with me. Maybe they just meant they would direct me to a credit card or something but God as my witness when sitting there going over everything with them they truly made me believe I could get my crown done with a couple of payments because they genuinely cared about my health and smile. I would have simply gotten the tooth pulled if I would have known they were going to leave me in limbo. Now I’m stuck with a temporary filling just waiting for it to crack and have to get it pulled anyway. $600 down the drain. Attached is a text with my mom after discussing my visit where I was made to believe this would work out just to show that I left the office thinking this and didn’t randomly make this up. Like I said, the actual dentist was great, but they caused a lot of money to be wasted based on their “wording”.

Exceptional patient care! The moment I arrived, kind and courteous office staff awaited me. The entire appointment was everything (and more) a dental visit should be. The office staff, technicians, hygienist, and dentist are kind, professional, honest and knowledgeable about every facet of dentistry. I have made an appointment for my daughter and husband as well. Dr. Deevers and Team are the dental practice we’ve always hoped to find :-)

I had an excellent experience today. Kay my hygienist was very professional and gave me great advice and great tips on flossing. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful as well. Jamie was very polite . Thanks to my co-worker Kim for giving me this location.

My initial appointment with them was fantastic, they were personable, made me feel so comfortable and were all around genuine in their care for me. Additionally, the prices for extensive work are unbeatable.

I went to Dental Works because I had a tooth that was very painful and infected. They were open on Friday when so many dentists were closed. They graciously worked me in. I am terrified of going to the dentist. EVERYONE here made me feel comfortable even during an extraction. I will definitely be going back. The whole staff actually cares about you.

Went in for my first time to DentalWorks today for a biannual visit. New to the area and wanted to find a new local dentist that accepted my insurance. Came across DentalWorks and was pleased with their service. The DH walked me through each step and was very friendly. The dentist was also nice and informed me of what she is looking at, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Usually Im scared to death of a doctors office but the staff was friendly and made me feel at ease. They worked with me and getting the best care and even helped with referrals on proceedures they dont do in office. The staff made all the arrangements for my referral appointment and even called to set up the appointment for me! Amazing group of people!

I was warmly and cheerfully greeted by the front desk staff and then, on schedule, was led to the treatment chair. Toni was very friendly, professional, and I could sense, confident in her skills, which she went forth to prove. The entire process was very enjoyable and reassuring that I have chosen an excellent provider.

I went here once and switched immediately. On my first visit I was handed an estimate for $6,000 and told I needed two root canals, a crown, and fillings. I do my six month check ups each year so I was shocked to hear decay had been so immense. I was told an old crown needed to be replaced and asked, So when do you want to schedule this, we need to do it immediately. The creepiest thing was the doctors assistant was waiting with the Estimate before the exam was even done. He literally pulled his instruments out and said office assistant (name not remembered), she turned the corner with a clipboard and a $6k estimate! I emailed the x-rays two friends who are dentist, they said seek a second opinion. NO root canals needed. 1 crown was needed. Nearly 12 months later, ZERO problems! and $5100 better off! RUN!

This was a urgently scheduled appointment. It was pleasant and the entire team and staff in the clinic were warm and friendly. Dr. Kashyap was very helpful and patiently explained the issue with my molar tooth and recommended next steps. I will definitely be visiting them again soon.

The staff is very friendly. I have been impressed by their commitment to a healthy mouth both there and at home. I always appreciate the goody bags I get sent home with. I have found their care to be affordable.

My husband and I have been going to DentalWorks Northcross Village for nearly 7 years. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. The dental techs are excellent and thorough. We have never been mistreated or anything like so many of the negative reviews I have read here. The only complaint I do have is that the dentists seem to change every year or so. That isnt really a problem since all of them have been excellent. Our insurance requires us to use this dental group now. When we went to a local independent dentist we were given the runaround about getting a ridiculous amount of unnecessary work done and the his prices were exorbitant! Not with DentalWorks. We are happy.

This place really does not deserve a 1 star. Made an appointment for my cleaning, had been going here for years. Got to the appointment, had to fill out paperwork like I was a new patient. Was told later that all of the dental works locations were under new management. I made a statement to the hygienist that since Ive been going there that Ive never had the same dentist twice. On top of that they didnt have my previous dental records. I thought records had to be kept a number of years regardless if changing of management. Also when the hygienist took a look at my mouth, she thought I still had my wisdom teeth. I had to explain to her that they were taken out YEARS ago. Why wouldnt she know that. Is that not what they go to school for? Then here comes the dentist coming in asking pretty much the same questions that Ive just answered from the hygienist. I explained to her that I know my options and that I just wanted/came for my cleaning. The dentist became very rough with me inside my mouth and I explained to her that she was hurting me. She got up and left the room. A lady came in to advise that I would not be getting my teeth cleaned there today and I needed to reschedule AFTER I had already taken time off work today. The people at this place was so unprofessional that of course will never have to worry about me coming back. I told the lady that it was an inconvenience to me as well as unfair because the dentist got upset about a statement I made. The dentist came back in to complete the cleaning or so called cleaning because it lasted less than 5 minutes. She didnt even check my gums to see if they were healthy or not which all of my cleanings consisted of. I have filed a complaint and now have to find another dentist because this one was so rough, my mouth is hurting. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO THE HUNTERSVILLE LOCATION.

Being petrified of the dentist and a extensive medical history to the point of shaking and having panic attacks. Just moved here from Ny and started having severe wisdom tooth pain. Called this place and everyone from the secretary, assistant to the dentist were amazing, very patient with me and comforting. Not scary at all and very fast. Highly recommend this place.

After looking at some of the reviews, I was hesitant to go to this location. But I had lost a filling and needed to go someplace quickly. I took a chance and called them. Im glad I did!!!! They were great. Not only did they let me come in immediately, they took very good care of me. From the front desk, to the doctor and everyone in between, they could not have been more caring. Nice Dental Cleaning. Used new instruments which takes xray directly to computer than painful old style film inserts. They take good care of dental cleaning taking long time in detail. Recommand it.

Ive always hated going to the dentist, sitting in the uncomfortable chair being asked continually to open your mouth wider.. a little wider.. but after procrastinating my visit long enough I scheduled an appointment with DentalWorks. Right as I walked in the door there was a friendly atmosphere and the staff couldnt have been more helpful! From the super sweet ladies who greet you at the front desk and handle the check ins and payments to the absolutely amazing and wonderful Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienist who take care of you and make your day and of course the super sweet Dr. Richardson who is one of the sweetest and most talented people I know there was nothing but top notch customer service and top of line care and service provided by Dr. Richardson herself and her amazingly wonderful staff. Words dont justify how thankful I am to them for making my dental experiences unforgettable and dare I say fun ! laughs, great conversation and just awesome service from beginning to end and I will be coming back for all my future dental needs and I dont care if I am in state or not ! This is how dental, honestly healthcare, should be and plus they are all huggers and I make sure to give my rounds because they deserve it and so much more ! Come here for your dental needs, you wont be disappointed !!

Ive given this dentists office a couple of tries but I keep finding myself left alone in the room for 30-45 minutes at a time with no one coming to tell me why theres a delay or whats happening or even check on me but the last straw and why I wont be going back is I had a filling that came out and I went in to get a new one which only took 15 minutes in total time for them to do but I was there for 2 hours a majority of the time just sitting in the room waiting. I dont enjoy wasting my time.

Although the cleaning was good, I was charged for some special cleaning with a special electronic instrument, was told I needed X-rays and then an exam. When originally told my cleaning would be around $100 a few months back, but when I went to check out the total was $396 and that I had used up my years aloted amount but would still get discounts because I had insurance so I would only owe $196. Since all the employees have changed up at the Huntersville location they dont verify services with the patient to sign off on. I am not happy and this will be my last visit to their facility.

I went here ONCE, and switched right away. I went in and they seriously try to up sell you on EVERYTHING, I got charged a copay even though for regular cleanings my dental insurance covers everything... they let a student clean my teeth and she was so rough and had NO clue what she was doing. This place is horrible... DONT GO HERE!!! My new dentist is amazing and have done way more than what they did and Ive been charged a quarter of the price with 10x better customer service. Please if you can help it, dont waste your money at this horrible establishment.

I dont even know where to begin, I just want to brag about this dental staff from a Dental Phobic perspective. Can we say WOW? Long story short, In an emergency, I had called this office and ultimately had to have a tooth extracted. Dental Fear for me is like death! LOL I can tell everyone, Jaime (front desk), Jessica (Ofc. Mgr.), Dr. Veders(Dentist) Deena, (Dental Assistant), Emily (Dental Asst.) Vanessa (Front Desk), Kostace (Dental Hygienist) were incredible during the extraction/follow -up and new patient exam. They ALL understood my fear and put me at ease pretty quickly. Yesterday at my new patient exam, I had a great time! I have never had the opportunity to say that with any dentist anytime in my life! We joked, I was educated and I was UNAFRAID! Please if you experience this phobic condition...Your dental staff should care about you as a whole person, not just a mouth on a conveyor belt. Not only the fear was gone, But they do a great job with all of the dental procedures and it is not agonizing either! I am quite sure that I have found my forever dentist! Thanks to all of you at Dental Works in Northcross Village/Huntersville!

Just got up from the chair after the x-ray and walked out when the hygienist went to get the Dentist, I was going in to have a broken tooth extracted- should of left when they said they dont have gas...I asked her why a Dentist office would not have gas she said because they are just for emergencies, so I suppose patients that come in with a dental emergency dont need gas. That is not why I walked out- I walked out because after the x-ray she went to get the dentist and I noticed that the 3 tools laying on the tray to use on me had tape on the and one had some type of past on the handle and they all was DIRTY! I snapped a pic of them took my bib off and left. I WILL NEVER go back to the place - Its filthy and everyone was rude! I agree 100% with the above statement about the personality of a rock. 1 star given only because I have to pick at least one to post it!

I had a first-time appointment with Dr. Richardson and her team. They did a great job of answering all my questions, explaining their procedures and executing without any issues. Everyone including Kal my hygeinist and Jamie their front desk consultant was very professional and welcoming and I felt confident about returning for a follow-up visit. Throughout the dental work they always explain every step before doing something. And at the end of the visit I receive clear documentation and they work seemlessly with my insurance coverage. With my previous dentist I felt I always left confused about what I paid for. During my return visit to Dentalworks I had to get a back tooth removed and I was slightly nervous about the whole process. But it was fast, efficient, virtually painless, and they ensured I knew how to take care of the healing aftwards. Dr. Richardson and her staff are very talented and I definitely recommend their service.

I typically don’t leave reviews. Worst experience ever and my daughter’s visit was traumatizing. Awful. My appointment went so poorly that the office admin apologized.I actually contacted my insurance to file a complaint.

The over all expercience was great the front office staff greeted me warmly.The ladies at the front desk were super stars from me coming in to me leaving.That mattered to me because i was nervous and in pain.The dental asst KIERRA was totally the BOMB she was tentative and answered and listen to whatever i was rambling about to make me get comfortable. Her attitude is one of reasons i am coming back to get more work done.Dr Blowe was awesome doctor i could not have ask for more.He talk to me reassured me during procedure pep talk me all that mattered. Only one concern i had was i was ask to make payment sitting in doctor chair.i felt like that to me was uncomfortable seeing i hadnt even been touch yet.I have Dental Ins and ability to pay.However it was something new but in no way did anyone make feel bad at all the staff thier will be getting to know my name on first name bases until i am done fixing my teeth with deep cleaning and looking into how to get implants for teeth i have had remove over the yrs.
