Oh my gosh Tease Hair Studio is one of the best! The people are so friendly and welcoming. I have never once had a bad experience with one of the stylists. I have been going to Tease Hair Studio for about five years now and I have had everything done: hair extensions, haircuts, hair dyed natural and fashion colors, and styling. Everything has been absolutely amazing! I can’t praise my stylist Caitie enough. She can take any idea I give her and take it to the next level! I have gone in with one plan, shown her a picture and the next thing I know we have elaborated on it it made it even better than what I thought it was going to be. She is just amazing!

I went in for the first time after having 2 terrible haircuts done somewhere else, and she listened to my concerns, understood them, and FIXED THEM! I almost started crying out of the pure happiness and relief I felt when she finished. I just moved here from Texas and honestly was contemplating going to Texas just to see my hair stylists but she may actually be better than them. Best thing to happen to me since I moved here!

I discovered Tease last year googling salons that did hair color well and had a good covid policy in place. I am SO happy I did and Ive felt comfortable in there each time during the pandemic. Ive been 3 times now to do different things with my hair color and loved every outcome. They do color so well! And they are honest with how your hair will react with what you want to do with it too. (Many years of box dye here so I needed that) I just did a purple/blue combo and I am in love with it. I also got a little care package that was totally unexpected to help maintain the purple color longer. Im 1 month in and the purple is still going strong. I am a forever costumer now, they treated me so well and have been recommending Tease every time some one brings up my hair.

The whole experience was great!I cut my hair 5-7 inches with Taylor and got this beautiful blowout with Mikaela.Mikaela showed me how I could style my hair with this new cut, and I’ve been blowing out my hair ever since.Looks great❤️I would not say the pricing is absurd, it is very reasonable compared to other salons I’ve been to in the past year.I will be referring my parents, friends, and all the guys around town to Tease.

I started going here based on a friends recommendation after having a bad experience at a different salon. Melinda did an awesome job fixing my hair, and has always done an amazing job with my color and haircut. I wish I still lived nearby because I havent been able to find another stylist that is as talented as Melinda. It is worth the longer drive for me.

Ive lived in Hudson a couple of years but never had my hair done in town. I decided to make an appointment and pamper myself - there are many salons to choose from and Im SO GLAD I went to Tease. Their prices are reasonable and they are completely down to earth. It usually takes me a few days to adjust to a new do any time I get my hair cut because I am a creature of habit. After my visit with Sam at Tease I was in love with my hair immediately! She did a fabulous job on the color and cut it styled it so that I felt like a million bucks. They treated me like a superstar but I didnt have to pay celebrity prices. I will definitely be back!

What is there not to love about Tease?! I have been seeing Taylor since 2018, and every time I have come into the salon she blows me away with her talent and kindness. From balayage and extensions or trims to big chops, she can do it all. Whenever I have had a last minute “hair emergency” and Taylor may not have been available, I always have felt comfortable going to any member of the Tease team. Each and every person I have interacted with at Tease have been nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area and in need of a little pampering! 🤩

I started going to Melinda at Tease a little over a year ago, and I love it there! I am very picky with my hair, and hate getting it cut, and I have been happy with every cut Melinda has given me, as well as the color she does for my roots. I have only seen Melinda, but every time I am there all the other staff seems so friendly and so professional as well. Would highly recommend the salon to anyone in the Hudson/Marlborough area!

I have short hair, and the cut is the most important thing. Marie Ashman does exactly what I want, and I couldnt be happier. I recently transitioned to silver hair (with her help) but previously had wonderful color work done by her also. I cant think of any circumstance that would make be change hairstylists! Where do I even begin?! Tease is one of the best things I’ve discovered moving to the area. I booked my first appointment for blonde balayage with Sam and the rest was history. What started as something simple (but done with incredible talent), turned into my current journey of experimenting with pink, purple, orange, peach and rose gold hair 😍 Sam sells herself short by selling herself as a balayage specialist because, although she’s INCREDIBLE at it, she is crazy talented when it comes to fashion coloring, as well. I’ve never trust a stylist so much and I truly feel this crew has become family, I love them so much. They also keep every super clean and sanitized and follow every precaution to keep everyone safe. Love my tease fam!!

I’m traveling through the area and needed a fresh trim on my medium-length hair and a family member recommended Tease. We were able to book a same-day appointment easily online and I got a confirmation text right away. There’s a free town parking lot down behind the salon. I was greeted warmly and offered coffee or water. Right away my stylist, Julie seated me and I got one of the best cuts ever! On top of it all, as I was ready to leave, Julie gave me a cute welcome gift package with products! What a wonderful experience!

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut last minute before New Years Eve. I came across Tease and was happy to find they had an opening. The inside of the salon is beautiful and the receptionist was very friendly. I had my hair cut by Jaclyn and she did an amazing job. She helped me understand how she would cut my hair and I was so happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely return in the future!

Ive been going to Sarah for about a year and she is by far THE BEST hair stylist Ive ever had! Everyone at the salon is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what products and techniques they use. I have curly hair and Sarah has gone above and beyond helping me find a cut I LOVE. I made an appointment at Tease with Julie on the glowing recommendation of my daughter, and I’m so glad I did! I have what I consider “difficult” hair - I like a short cut, but my hair has a tendency to randomly stick out here and there, despite my best attempts to control it with haircuts and stylist-recommended products. Not anymore! Julie listened to what I wanted and what my challenges were and gave me a cut that I love, then recommended Dry Powder Volume Paste by Eleven. I just need the tiniest bit and my sometimes unruly hair does what I want it to! I highly recommend both Tease and Julie.

By far the best salon I’ve ever been to. First off I booked a last minute appointment via Facebook the night before and they got me in the next day. Right there showed me their level of world class customer service.I had Nicole as a stylist and I was going for a new edgy look, and man, did she deliver. She took her time to make sure she knew what I wanted and got it to the color I desired as well not rushing me out the door to get to the next person.Not only that, everyone was so pleasant and happy which is very difficult to find times like the present. I am going to refer many people to this place. Their work chemistry and comradeship is on point! Kudos to Tease!

I started going to tease a few years ago and found an amazing hair dresser, then had to move away and never found anyone that was as good that was local. I was traveling really far to go to someone I trust. Years later I moved back to the area and went back to Tease. My previous hair dresser was no longer there, so I had an appointment with Ruth. I hope she never leaves. I have long hair and quite a lot of it. Ruth did a balayage, and it came out amazing! I am so glad I went back to Tease, and I will definitely be back to see Ruth again and again.

I’m not from the area but I was invited to come try out the salon by one of their new stylists (Zoey) she warned me that parking in that area is a little tough (2 hour max) but one block away there is a limitless parking lot. (I’m glad she wanted me prior so I wasn’t scrambling and running late due to parking)I arrived 10 minutes early and waited for her to finish up with another client that was already in her chair. (No biggie)Zoey was very friendly and we talked about what I wanted to get done in my hair. I have naturally dark hair and I was originally wanting to do an ombré/balayage with a lighter brown. After talking zoey recommended we go more on the red side and keep my original color towards the top so the grow out will look more natural. I agreed and I couldn’t be happier! The whole appointment took about 4 hours and the whole time zoey was friendly and continued to check in on me. She was the only one who ‘touched’ my hair (I’m not a huge fan of other stylists jumping in to shampoo/blow dry etc)I also ended up buying products from the salon (which I never do)I had a great experience and would 10000% recommend Zoey and the tease salon to others.

My husband and I just moved to Hudson so I was looking for a new salon. Tease caught my eye as we were walking around the downtown area. I called on Wednesday and they were able to scheudule me for Saturday. Melinda was great. I loved being able to sit down and let her creativity flow. My hair feels super healthy and shiny. The color is light and airy but natural. Perfect for summer. I also have Celiacs Disease so it was nice to finally find a salon that used gluten free products. Which they gave me free samples to take home and try! Cant wait to go back!

Heather does such a good job with my hair! New customers get $20 off their first visit if you go to the Tease website which is awesome, also if you refer a friend you get a discount as well! After your first visit and you leave a review you get $10 off your next visit! I have a lot of hair and Heather is very patient and takes her time doing it. The salon as a whole seems to love learning new trends and is always up to date with their skills. The technology in the salon is something that I have never seen before. Your client profile is right there in front of you when you sit in the chair. You can see all the services you have had and possibly what you are working towards. I can not say enough about Jacyln, her staff, and the salon! The online booking is very convenient as well!

I ve been going to this salon for several years and truly love my stylist (Artistic Director) Melissa B. Once Im there, Im satisfied with the service. Its getting there thats the problem.More times than Id like to admit, Ive experienced scheduling an appointment with them, just to have them change the date and time to their liking (not mine). I dont get any any notice until the appointment reminder email and by that time, its too late to reschedule to a closer date and time. They dont take responsibility for the mistake, apologize or try to accomodate. This is not how you treat long standing customers.This salon is not by any stretch an inexpensive salon. I go there because of the great cut I get. Ive pretty much had my fill of bad customer service and am thinking its time for a change.

We are relatively new to Tease, and only knew about Tease through our friend Marie. We were blown away with their generosity in our time of despair, when our we suffered a house fire. Its small businesses like this that really make a difference in our communities. We just cannot thank them enough for their generosities and selfless acts. I’m sorry. I’ve been going to Tease for about a year. Love love my stylist/colorist Katie. Most professional and friendly . She is wonderful. Unfortunately lately I’ve become so disappointed by the business model. I’m not a fuzzy person but I’ve experienced frequently a rushed service. I get my color applicated and then asked to step aside to the waiting area where customers are arriving. Embarrassing with a color head on. Then to be washed by (btw another lovely person) answering phones and juggling (not her fault). This has been the trend for the last couple of months and I rarely complain. But the ultimate kicker today was their new policy. They insist on a credit card on file Incase you cancel and they get full refund. What? I’ve had to cancel appointments seldom but it happens! I’m not a business person but I can tell you once you charge my card for a cancellation, I’m never going back. End of. I hope Tease has thought their business plan with good detail but after today I’m going to consider changing. Unfortunate. But it’s principle.

I discovered Melissa a year ago when she did my daughters hair for prom. I had been thinking about trying someone new. I made an appointment for myself shortly after. I have fine wavy-ish hair...meaning I can encourage or discourage the hair I was blessed with. Melissa cuts it so it falls in perfectly every time. Everyone here is very nice, professional, and I love the j.beverly products they sell too. Every girl loves a good hair day:)!

The stylists at Tease are personable, they really understand your specific hair type and what works best with your coloring, lifestyle, etc. Also the customer service is superb--- whenever I get the chance to go its like treating myself to a little luxury. Plus, its a in a beautiful historic building.
