I had fibroids, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and I was pre diabetic before I had my first acupuncture treatment at Top Acupuncture. After one treatment my fibroids we’re gone. The pain slowly disappeared and when I went to have my blood checked again, a couple of months later, my numbers were cut in half. This happened at the time I was going into menopause and at a time when I made it a point to exercise and eat properly. So it could have been coincidental.This was a few (4) years ago, and my numbers began to creep up again. Now I’ve been diagnosed with Achalasia, which is a condition where my esophagus does not work properly, and I’ve just gone in for my second acupuncture session. If my Achalasia disappears and my numbers go down again we’ll know it’s not a coincidence and that acupuncture really works. It’s amazing how the body heals itself naturally and acupuncture seems to kickstart that natural healing process. Thanks Dr. & Thank God 🙏🏽

I went to Dr. He because my metabolism is getting slow. I cant get ride of the excessive water I drank. The extra water get stored in my body and I became overweight.Dr. He treated me with needles and prescribed me some herbal medicine. I have been going to Sylvia for 2 years now. She really helped me with my Restless Legs Syndrome after having my baby. After 8 sessions, my legs are more calm and I have noticed an 80% difference! Today, my visit was for a 3 day Migraine; which Sylvia took away in 1 day! I dont know what I would do without her...

Sylvia is amazing! She has helped me with many issues. If I feel that I’m getting an upper respiratory virus I go in and she is able to lesson my symptoms and shorten the length of the virus. I also had a very painful lower back spasm and she got the spasm so much better in a day...that truly impacted my quality of life. I highly recommend her.

Did not have a good experience with Sylvia. She went extreme with the needles and my body did not tolerate it well. I have been going to another provider which took a less is more approach and it worked much better for me. Be careful with her. My 2 cents. My golden rule in hiring anyone - Dont hire anyone with less than 10 years experience.Update Nov 2018 - I visited March of 2018. I have now done 12 other sessions with another provider and used 4-6 needles. My body is very sensitive and did not handle her 10+ needles well. From my own experience, Top acupuncture is the best and the most effective Chinese medical center in town. Before I was referred by a friend here I was very depressed cuz I have insomnia for 6 month and I dont see the hope to recover by myself. After being treated for 4 times I totally get the rid of the sleep aids and finally can sleep by myself. Now after being treated for a while my insomnia is almost gone, which I wouldnt be able to imagine 3 month ago. Sylvia was able to relieve my stiff neck in one visit. Unlike massage therapy which doesn’t actually give me mobility when I get a stiff neck, this worked immediately. I walked into the clinic unable to turn my head, and walked out with full range of motion. She is committed to helping people (whenever possible) get finished in one visit, or in as few visits as possible. As opposed to someone offering a less expensive session but who needs 5-10 visits to fix a stiff neck, she gets you out in as few visits as possible, saving you time and money and getting you where you want to be faster. I will return the next time I’m in pain!

After a wreck I went to Top Acupuncture and they helped my pain immediately from the first session! They are thorough in muscle release and tension sometimes adding a recommended herb for treatment. I had chronic fatigue and stress for a few years and I tried to do more exercises to be energetic but I didn’t feel good after exercises. Dr. Ma and Sylvia saw me and differentiated my body constitution, then put some needles on my body. I was a little nervous about the needing at the beginning, but I I felt so relaxed after 5 minutes and dozed off for a few times in the 30 minutes course. After treatment, I felt very clear headed and felt like I was a man again. I can do 30 push-ups now!

Ive had four total knee replacements on my right leg, three in the past 8 years. I got an appointment with Sylvia and was not sure if she could help with my prolonged periods that have been bothering me for years. I had a really great first acupuncture experience at Top Acupuncture early last year. I highly recommend this clinic to all who want to give Traditional Chinese Medicine a try with professional doctors. Dr. Sylvia helped me understand the cause of my frequent migraines and that all my health issues were related, and I feel she is a very skilled acupuncturist. Im certain that if I could have continued the acupuncture treatments, I would be healed up by now. Unfortunately, I live far away from the clinic and due to transportation issues I havent been able to get back to clinic for subsequent treatments yet. I would go back in a heartbeat if transportation wasnt an issue, though. I tried a more local TCM doctor, but my experience at Top Acupuncture proved to be better by comparison, so I have chosen Top Acupuncture to be my TCM clinic of choice and Im looking forward to my next visit.

From my own experience, top acupuncture is the best and the most effective Chinese medical center in Houston. I go there for treatments to help restore and enhance the internal balance of my health. After each treatment I feel comfortable and relaxed. Recently, they have been helping my Uncle with the nerve pain he suffered due to the sequela from mis-diagnosed Herpes Zoster (shingles) treatment he had four years ago. He had exhausted all the resources he could find in China to treat it. Now, after few treatments and Chinese medicine prescript by Dr. Ma, my uncle is free from the pain for the first time in four years. I have gout for 9 years and I took the colchicine when each sharp pain happened. The treatments here help me a lot on both pain relief and weight loss. Hope I can get rid of the gout and obesity as soon as possible.
