This guy is incredibly arrogant and condescending. You’re just a doctor, hate to break it to you, but you’re not as big of a deal as you think you are. Absolutely amazing that this guys behavior is tolerated.

After searching for an orthopedic surgeon at my workplace to stay inside the network for my insurance I spent hours reading the doctors training backgrounds and patient reviews and believe me Dr. Palmer was very impressive with hundreds of reviews on multiple websites and 90% of the reviews were very excellent and a few were negative and were usually about insurance issues or appointment/waiting issues, those are not important issues. I have serious sciatica and chose Dr. Palmer. He introduced himself with a handshake and asked me a ton of questions and listened to me as I told him about my pain, where the pain was and put me through some hands-on physical tests and gave me a few options. I wanted surgery right away as his many reviewers praised him on what he did to them, he convinced me to do the lower lumbar epidural injections first and I did. His staff were very friendly and all talkative and told me about Dr. Palmers reputation as a top-notch Orthopedic surgeon and I could not believe I walk out of Methodist almost pain-free that morning, could barely walk into the hospital. Dr. Palmer did not push surgery on me and gave me options and verbally walked me through each one and asking where do I wish to start, not out of the woods just yet but the next level if the pain comes back will be surgery and am blessed picking this doctor. Also, surprising was the Woodlands Methodist hospital and only two years old, very cutting edge and clean. I would definitely recommend Dr. Palmer for anyone.

I had a severe accident, which I had a ct scan done, Dr. Palmer saw me for maby 5 minutes tops, gave me a shot which didnt help much at all. Gave me a 10 day supply of muscle relaxer and told me I needed an MRI cause he couldnt read the ct. Scan. I ran out of the muscle relaxer, and he refused to refill my meds. I was billled over 700 dollars (after a 190.00 new patient evaluation). I had the MRI preformed at a prestigious hospital, and I had to suffer bad from a herniated disc in my neck and a pinched nerve in my shoulder...this doctor has no compassion when it comes to extreme pain. Save YOUR money, go to a Doctor who cares, and is not all about money..,no compassion at all. One star is all I could do, and the nurse Dana is very nice.

In October of 2016, Dr Palmer used his god-given gift to repair my husbands back. Dr Palmer performed a laminectomy which totally relieved the pain and numbness my husband had previously experienced.Today, Dr Palmer performed a laminectomy with fusion on my mother. Once again exceptional results.I am a true believer in Dr Palmers skill, technique and experience. If you are in pain or living a limited life-style because of pain, you have found the right doctor.Schedule an appt. The life of you and your family will forever be changed.
