The initial staff visit was great. They worked with us in the cost and payment plan for our sons braces. We were told by another facility that our son HAD to have four extractions, but the staff at Smile Doctors said otherwise. They saved us from unnecessary expenses and unnecessary pain for our son. He kept all of his teeth and today he had his braces removed. He has a beautiful smile and he is happy! The staff has been great to work with and we would highly recommended Smile Doctors to friends and family.

I was an original patient here of the late Dr. David Harris and Clara Harris (then an oral surgeon) before that fateful event in 2005. Now my kids go here and my first time seeing the office brought back memories. Dr. Bhagia was knowledgeable and insightful into the bite issues one of them was experiencing and able to point out some things I had noticed over the past couple of years as well as some I had not.

It’s a great place. The staff is fairly decent. My only con would be the long wait and the front desk staff chatting amongst themselves while clients and waiting to check in. Common courtesy would be great. My daughter had a scheduled appointment and had to wait 30 minutes to get checked in. It’s been an hour already and still hasn’t been seen by the dentist so she’s waiting in the back. All other clients who arrived after her have been seen and out the door.

They are so awesome and funny ! They truly care about my teeth and are so helpful. Mrs. Nicole is one of the nicest people I’ve met and is always there with a welcoming smile! I love going in knowing I will be taken care of by Mrs. Nicole, Mrs. Lisa and the rest of the crew !!!

This office is literally the best. The employees are so sweet. Never have I been to the office for an appointment and it was bad. Always a great time with great energy and they love the kiddos. Highly recommend!!

We used to love this place. 2nd set of braces on the kiddo, and they notoriously just run behind with super-stressed staff with this round. Today’s visit was 50 min late. I really value places that respect my time as much as I respect theirs.

She made sure my treatment was complete in time for my wedding, but still took the time to make sure my treatment was handled properly. She takes pride in her work which I value. I recently had my braces removed within the last 10 days. I cannot say that I had an overall pleasant experience with Space Center Orthodontics. During my episode of care, Space Center was purchase by Smile Doctors. Initially I was told that I would have my braces on by Dr. B for 1 1/2, however that turned into almost 5 years. Partially because of my age and but mostly do to the over all care, knowledge, by the authorizing Dental provider. The ONLY reason, that I am giving this location 4 stars and not 0 is because of the orthodontic assistants. I would not have made it through this long encounter if it was not for Alex. Alex is kind, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. She was kind enough to care for me during my follow up visits for almost 3 years, and did an exemplary job. Maria is also amazing and because of her guidance and leadership the ladies do an phenomenal job caring for the patients. Tiffany works the front area, and you can always count on her beautiful smile to welcome you and make you feel at home. As for as the supporting staff, I would give them 100 stars if I could. In regards to the provider care (Dentist) I was very disappointed in the quality of care, I received. I wish I could say I was completely satisfied with the outcome after nearly 5 years, but unfortunately the results are some what disappointing.

My teen was one of the first patients to return for an in office visit during the Covid19 pandemic phase 1 reopening of the economy and businesses. We appreciated all the staff’s attention to safety and helping him feel at ease throughout the whole process of check-in, braces removal procedure and follow up plans. After his braces were removed, he got to do the traditional celebratory gong and was serenaded by the staff. Also received a cup of goodies. Everybody really made him feel special. Thanks everyone!

The staff at Smile Doctors is wonderful. They were so patient, flexible, and encouraging throughout the process of my considering Invisalign, my decision to go forward, and finally wearing my trays. Kelly and Nicole carefully explained all the details including my finance options. They were just as excited as I was to make the final decision. Dr. Bhagia was also attentive with his busy schedule. Lisa was always professional explaining each step of the process when I went in for scans, my trays, adding my attachments, and fitting for my retainer. I am so pleased with my results. Alexis at Smile Doctor braces Clear Lake is extraordinary. She goes far and beyond for her patients. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I always request to be seen by her because honestly there’s no one I would rather be seen by other than her. She makes me so comfortable and at peace when she is helping me make my smile better!

Pros: The support staff of the front desk women and dental assistants were always very friendly. The dental assistants actually answered more of my questions than the orthodontist ever did. I never waited more than five minutes to get into the chair. It was always easy to change my appointment dates if something came up in my personal schedule. Moving from TX to OH, I was able to transfer to another Smile Doctors location without paying any additional fees.Con: Being sold Acceledent. I would not recommend paying an additional $500+ for this product. It was marketed to me and I wish I never would have paid for it. During my consultation I was told that it was strongly believed my braces could be off in 15 months, but now were looking at 24+ months. So this device was a waste of money. Also, Dr. B is not one to really talk much during your appointments. Thats also more of a personal preference thing. If you dont mind the orthodontist popping up, looking at your mouth quickly, and then moving on then you wont care. The hygienists/assistants will always be there and willing to answer your questions.Overall: 4/5 would recommend.

Knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, energetic, and fun are all words Id use to describe the staff at Space Center Orthodontics. I felt they went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable and informed. She is now excited about getting braces and much less apprehensive. The facilities, too, are top-notch. Im confident weve chosen the right orthodontist for our family.

Although one daughter was supposed to get her braces off, her teeth moved. She is young and that is expected. The brackets and wires were moved accordingly to accommodate the goal on the top of her mouth. Her bottom braces came off as scheduled. A retainer was placed to secure the front four bottom adult teeth. This is all routine with the exception two bottom baby teeth were removed without numbing or any feeling what so ever. They were loose and ready yet, my daughter was not able. It really takes a caring and skilled assistant to make that happen. We dont know how to express our appreciation to this staff. They are always concerned, caring, and ready to make things possible.

We went for our initial consultation last week. My son noticed his personalized parking spot right away. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone took their time making my son feel comfortable and answered all of our questions. The environment is very kid friendly. We are looking forward to our future visits!

Im not even halfway through my treatment, and already my teeth and bite are so much better than I could have hoped! My open bite is completely closed, and I no longer have a cross bite. Its amazing how quickly things have progressed, I really do have a completely new smile. Another plus is the awesome and friendly staff...I wouldnt have my smile without them!

About a year ago we went in for a consultation for my daughter, but my husband and I ended up getting braces as well. We both needed them and Dr. B was able to just look at us and tell us what was wrong. We both had brace as children, but our teeth moved. I am very pleased with the results and happy with the staff, they know what they are doing.

Once again: great work. I feel comfortable when I walk in to when I leave and as an adult needing orthodontia care, this matters a lot to me. I can already see the improvement in my bite and the gaps that used to be between my teeth! Glad to see they are bouncing back after the storm!

Every appointment I have, I have left happy. The staff is truly exceptional. If I ever have questions they are explained in detail. When I call to change an appointment time, it is done promptly and always can find a good time and date to fit my crazy schedule. As soon as my son is old enough we will be back for his braces.

I love this place I really recommend it to anyone, a little expensive yes but very worth it. Im almost done with my treatment and sometimes I struggle with my payments but they are always working with me and giving me time to pay. Awesome experience! After transferring in from another state we were worried that the philosophy was going to be completely different and we were going to have to start over. Fortunately we were able to find Space Center Orthodontics, there was an almost seamless transfer. No push to pull teeth, or start all over. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable; willing to answer ALL of Dads questions without hesitation, (even the obvious ones). Dr. Bhagia is well-versed in dentistry and orthodontics, and his two locations run like a well-oiled machine. I am very disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown by several staff members at Clear Lake Orthodontics. I shared my dissatisfaction with the Doctor and that conversation resulted in a change of protocol regarding dissemination of private information with anyone not affiliated with the office. I would have assumed that any private matter that occurs within the office would be off-limits to anyone outside the office. Just basic common sense, right? It seems to me that it should have been made clear to that employee in the first place. However, this is not the only issue I have with Space Center Orthodontics. The information that was leaked to an outside party should have instead been conveyed directly to me at the time of my childs visit. If a healthcare provider ever suspects a possible hazard to their patient it is their ethical duty to report that immediately. This was not done. So, for those reasons I would not recommend Space Center Orthopedics.Update: the staff at Space Center Orthopedics tried to remove my post from YELP.

I loved my time while at Space Center Ortho (Smile DRs). The orthodontists are nice and quick moving. In my two years of coming to the office I only had to wait after my appointment time once. Alexis is the absolute best and listens to any concern you have!!

I must say making appointments at this office is a total disaster. They over book to an extreme if something important comes up and you have to reschedule expect to wait a month + for a new appointment not ideal with you have a child with braces on. DO NOT pay in full there are zero advantages and at this point Id like to switch Drs very disappointed!

They are insensitive and incapable of providing decent pain management. My daughter ended up missing school and kept both of us up at night because she was in too much pain. Id recommend a more empathic facility. The doctor might have great statistics and qualifications but the staff are definitely sub-par

As someone who works in a patient-centered office, I am beyond pleased with the level of care that I have received thus far at Smile Doctors Braces! Every time I come in for an appointment, I am greeted with a warm welcome! I am pleased with their customer service and their quality of care. Special shout-out to my amazing Treatment Coordinator, Vilma! She is patient and kind to me-she has a calming presence, as well as, extensive knowledge. Thank you, Vilma-I appreciate you more than you know! Another shout-out to Jayeline! She has been nothing but kind and supportive to me throughout my orthodontic journey; she encourages me and makes me feel so special! Thank you, Jayeline! I am excited for my orthodontic journey under the amazing care of Dr. Bhagia and his team. Dr. Bhagia treated my younger sister; my family was impressed with his treatment of my sister. Be really wary committing to this group. I paid up front for my invisalign and since that time, its like they dont care when I have a concern or not. The other day, I had attachments placed. All he did was check them over, sand here and there and that was it. His tech had to remind him to do trim down my teeth for the adjustments. Further, whenever he addressed a concern, his assistant with mutter something to negate what he said after he left. And let me tell you, shes no winner either. Any concern is basically brushed off and it feels as though she would be happier elsewhere and is disgruntled with the system somehow. Either way, I wish I could change to a different provider but now Im stuck in this contract. What a freaking bummer. I put so much effort into caring for the aligners and keep to the schedule that I hope it ends well because, so far, I dont have any warm fuzzy feelings with this bunch! AVOID!

Its that time again! Child number 2 is getting braces off! Both of my kids are finished with braces! Its been a long process, but so worth it! Love Space Center Orthodontic, and would definitely recommend to family and friends!

I just got my braces off after 3 years. As an adult getting braces, my teeth had been neglected for a long time. I was very scared and was afraid of losing a tooth, but every time I came in Yaneli at the Clear Lake office made me feel at ease and confident in her abilities. She always made adjustments in her schedule to accommodate me because she knew my fears and she knew I trusted her. Additionally, I appreciate the knowledge of Dr. Bagia and Dr. Yu and the kindness of the other staff. I would highly recommend Smile Doctors!

My daughters brace wires and connectors fell off at least 8 times during treatment and then they starting sending me $50 bills for replacement parts after I paid upfront for braces. I told them, hell no, after paying $5000, you should make sure that braces dont break, and dont come to me with $50 charges after I paid $5k. Outrageous.At one point the DR actually started lecturing my daughter in front of me about her eating habits and had her in tears, which just about set me off... Needless to say my daughter was not at all happy with her treatment, or service. Her treatment was scheduled for 20 months, but for some reason it was completed in about 14.Now 6 months after her treatment is complete in November 2012, and a YEAR and HALF after I prepaid 100% for her braces, I get a bill saying that I owe $700 because the insurance didnt pay some part and that Im responsible for all unpaid bills.Im guessing that the insurance company deducted the 6 months from the overall service...Something is wrong with the amount that charged for braces, and Im glad that insurance companies are catching on to all the tricks.I really was impressed with the 3d X-ray, however that place seems a little like a conveyor belt braces factory. I will be taking my other kids someplace else.

Appt was timely. Staff were efficient and professional. Thorough consultation. Dr. Bhagia was knowledgeable and insightful into the bite issues I was experiencing and able to point out some things I had noticed over the past couple of years as well as some I had not.

Ive sent two kids through Space Center Ortho and have one currently getting her teeth done. Each child has been well taken care of and all were treated with respect. The office was always willing to work with us when the kids needed to see the doctor without an appointment and the visits were generally quick (and painless!) They were also very reasonably priced and had a very fair payment plan. I would, and have, easily recommend Dr. Bhagia to ANYONE needing orthodontics. Two great smiles and one more on the way!

Great experience! The office is very new and up to date. I mean I sign in on my own using a computer and can sit in the waiting room and play video games. The staff is very courteous and most importantly so is Dr. Bhagia. He is good at what he does, there is no doubt about that. To top it all off they have a point system that allows you to rack up cool prizes and you can get an ice cream on your way out. What else can you ask for? Best Doctor experience ever!

Both of our daughters just completed phase one and their teeth are beautiful! One had an over-bite, the other had an under-bite, and both had expanders to avoid pulling teeth. Great Doctor, great staff! Highly recommended!

I love how they had an assigned parking space for me when I went in for my consultation. All the staff are super nice, there are video games to play while waiting, and flat screen tvs and cool music while being treated. The free ice cream (many kinds) after your treatment is for everyone in your family if they want. This place does everything it can to be sure you leave with a smile!

We feel so blessed to have found them when we did. My daughter needed a lot of work and now her teeth look great and we enjoyed working with the staff.
