We can’t say enough great things about Village Therapy Works! Haneen was my son’s speech therapist and we absolutely loved her. She’s so kind, easy to talk to and work with, and most importantly helped my son’s speech tremendously. He looked forward to his weekly appointment with her. We will definitely miss her!!Laura, the Office Manager, was so helpful and easy to talk to as well. She helped guide us through this process seamlessly! Again, we can’t recommend this team enough!!

My child started going to Village Therapy Works for speech at 2.5 years. This practice is absolutely wonderful! I have watched my childs language grow exponentially in 6 months. The therapist is so hands on and always has feedback at the end of each visit. Parents leave knowing what happened during the session and what we can do to supplement until the next visit. Laura at the front desk handles the majority of scheduling and is always willing to help. I highly recommend Village Therapy Works for your Speech/OT needs!

Everything about Village Therapy Works is outstanding! The front office is accommodating and kind. My child worked with two of their therapists and loved both of them. We are really seeing an explosion of communication skills and vocabulary. We firmly believe it is because of the work and guidance from his therapists.

We had a great experience at Village Therapy Works. My twins received weekly speech therapy sessions there for several months. We were given clear direction and homework after each meeting and notable progress was made after each and every session. My girls were released from therapy after achieving their goals. I would highly recommend Village Therapy Works and having nothing but praises for Judy Davison. She is highly skilled in her arena.

Village Therapy Works helped my youngest son with his speech impediment, before he started kindergarten. The staff was always friendly and courteous. They also ensured to keep me updated with my son’s progress while he was there. Make sure you look at the location before you go, or you will get lost!

My son is both dyslexic and ADHD and could barely read at the end of 1st grade. We were so lucky to have found Village Therapy Works and Judy Davison, they have worked miracles with him and he looks forward to seeing her. We have been going just about a year now and he is reading and writing and catching up with his peers. I highly recommend them.

We did not have a positive experience for our 4 year-old son. During his second therapy session, he hit the therapist. Our son, like many on the Autism spectrum, has difficulty regulating his emotions. He also has significant cognitive deficits which negatively impacts his speech. Given that Village Therapy Works addresses Autism spectrum on their website, and given that we had provided them with extensive reports from psychologists, a school-based diagnostician, and a school-based speech therapist prior to the visit, we assumed they would be prepared to work with our son. That assumption was incorrect. However, instead of simply saying they were not able to meet our childs needs, the director (Ms. Davison) berated my wife for her parenting approach. Among other things, she told my wife that if her children acted this way, shed put them in their room and lock the door. When I discussed this incident with her by phone, Ms. Davison articulated her belief that the reports furnished to her office do not provide an accurate assessment of our son. In other words, after a 5 minute assessment, she stated that reports generated by several experts, based on hours of detailed testing and extensive observation, were wrong.Whats more, after ending the therapy session pre-maturely, my son attempted to go back to the therapy room to play. Ms. Davison seized him by the arm and dragged him down the hallway. Again, recall this is an autistic 4 year-old with significant emotional and cognitive challenges. When I confronted her about this, she initially claimed it was for his own safety, but later stated that she couldnt let him run wild in the office. After extensive conversation, Ms. Davison did provide referrals for other therapists who may better meet our sons needs. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend this provider to parents of children on the Autism spectrum or any other disorder which affects emotional regulation.
