Dr Zimmermann has delivered 2 children of mine. From a males perspective- Amazing doctor. Not only did he take care of my wife, he also made sure he addressed my concerns as well. We were very lucky to find him.

The lady at the front desk was very rude. She should be more nice honesty specially working with pregnant women.

I highly recommend! Dr. Zimmerman has been my OBGYN for almost 13 years. He has delivered all three of my kids and also performed surgery. He’s very professional and funny. Even if his practice is a 30 minute drive I would not change him. The staff is great and very understanding , Coleen and Nurse Dayani always went an extra mile to answer my questions and concerns about my pregnancies. Thank you Dr. Z and Staff :)

Dr.Zimmerman is a great doctor, always answer all the questions and very friendly. So as his staff. Nice looking and clean new office as well. I use Dr. Zimmerman for 3 years , since I moved to Houston for all my check ups, prescriptions etc. and planning to do so in future as well.( btw last but not least , because it’s important if you self pay like me: Dr. Zimmerman have a good rates , better than other doctors in the area, I have checked)

I’m currently going through my first pregnancy and Dr. Zimmerman has been my dr since the beginning, all I can say is how amazing he is. I really appreciate the fact that he’s super honest about the whole process (because pregnancy is tough), he explains everything to me and tells me what to expect for the next month. I’ve seen some reviews about him being rude but I can’t agree because he does his job in a very professional way. Also the staff is great!

Dr. Zimmerman is hands down the best. He listens even if hes heard it a thousand times over. Hes very honest....not a tell you what you want to hear doc. Very smart, funny, understanding, patient, comforting and very real. I wish I could have had him deliver my first child. I highly recommend him to every woman. He is the best.

Dr. Zimmerman and his staff are absolutely great ! This was my first pregnancy and he made the whole experience for me wonderful. Hes very straight forward and to the point which I enjoyed but would also answer all my questions in detail and make sure I understood before I left the appointment. At the hospital while I was in labor, me and one of my nurse got snippy at each other (long story short she told she wouldnt give me an pain meds and was extremely rude about her reasoning) he took her outside and stood up for me and told her she better offer me something or she would be in trouble at the hospital. He didnt have to do that but he did and it was so nice of him. It showed me I wasnt just another patient and he actually cared. Would definitely recommend him !!

Literally called this office half a dozen times in one day and no one is there to answer phone. Even called right at opening.

Haven’t been there in a long time because I moved, but I did want to put a review. He’s a great doctor. When I met him he was always straight to the point and easy to understand, didn’t ramble or beat around the bush and waste my time. Although, my awkwardness seemed to have kicked into full gear around him and I was never sure why. Finding out now that my struggles with social anxiety amongst many many other issues have been due to untreated and undiagnosed Lyme disease. So maybe it was just that. Either way, he is a great doctor. Plus, when it came time to push during my delivery, he didn’t hold the first push against my total score... so I succeeded in a delivery with only 1.5 pushes.

Loved dr Zimmerman he was very down to earth and overall great. Wish I could find another doctor like him!

I was a transfer patient when I was pregnant with my son in 2016, Zimmerman has been beyond the best doctor I have had. I had never had a male doctor and I will never allow him to retire. He sits talks with you and makes you feel comfortable! He never rushes or makes you feel like your concerns are unimportant. His staff is also amazing and I enjoy my long talks with Colleen his front desk lady! She had never once made me feel like I drove her nits with my many of calls and freak outs! Every office needs her! I have never had to wait at the office , unless there was an unexpected emergency! I have recommended Zimmerman to more ppl than I have recommended anyone! Him and his team have calmed my nerves and made my pregnancy and labors enjoyable! I can’t wait to deliver baby number 2 with them in August!!

Dr. Zimmerman is a great OB/GYN. Every time I go all his staff are very professional and nice. I love that he comes to the room before the exams to talk with me and get all of my concerns and questions face to face, then comes back with the nurse to perform the exams. Ive been going to him for six years and have no plans to change doctors. Im pregnant now, so he will also be delivering my baby in the future. So far so good with that.

Seriously the best Dr Ive ever seen. He delivered my boy in Oct 2017, and wow. 3rd c section, I was back on my feet with my family so much faster. Hes knowledgeable, straight forward, and can actually crack a joke. He meets with his patient prior to any examinations or procedures first to answer any questions and face any concerns, and then comes back with the assistant. I cant even remember how many times i called after hours worried about this or that, and he always got back with me in a timely fashion. As small as this may seem, he even remembered us when we come in for appts. Wont likely be having any more children, but if I do, hes the only Dr well be seeing.

Showed up for my first appointment and the lady at the front desk tells me that the dr left for an emergency c section 30 minutes ago. I never received a curtesy phone call so I wouldn’t show up or to reschedule or anything. I just stood in the lobby I assumed we would reschedule or something but she just told me that he might be back in an hour maybe not. Please save your time don’t come here at all.

He is amazing! Very sociable and looks appoarchable. Knows his stuff and he delivered my first baby. If I had anymore Ill have him as my OB any day. He is patient and listens to you.

Dr.Zimmerman and his staff are excellent. I have never had to wait more then 5 minutes to be taken back,Colleen at the front desk is always patient,courteous and efficient. The doctors nurse is the same,warm,and efficent. There are so many reviews about Dr.Zimmerman not being a friendly doctor bUT my husband and I both think he is great. He has a dry sense of humor which may lead people to think hes not friendly but you just have to get his personality.I trust him in handling mine and my.unborn childs health completely. This is my third child and I have never been as happy with an OB doctor office as I have been here. Ignore the nay sayers of this office,those reviewers probably just lack personality!

During all the pregnancy the staff was great, he as a doctor not so good, every appointment was very short and the answer to all my questions was alway the same “it’s normal”What really dispoitmented me was the moment when I need him the most he didn’t show up to my delivery, and the doctor that was covering for him was a very incompetent women that didn’t have a clue of what to do

My first pregnancy but so far so good. Have not had any problems with the dr or staff. Only concern is my glucose test was not done properly but im no expert. Lol

Im am very disappointed with my care from Dr Zimmerman. I started to see him in February/March of 2015 when I found out I was pregnant. Me and my boyfriend initially felt he was a good doctor because he seemed like a sweet man. but now looking back, being a sweet person doesnt mean you are good at your job. we started having problems when he wasnt communicating things to us, and helping us understand what he was saying, this was my first pregnancy so I needed to know what was going on and have some extra help because it was all new to me. we had some prenatal testing done, and we were told that our chlamydia test came back positive. Ive never had a problem with stds so this was a shock to the both of us. we immediately went to an ER to get my boyfriend tested and treated which cost us $150 that we didnt have. will a week later we got a phone call from the ER and they said that my boyfriend didnt have chlamydia, so we had gotten a false positive. when we told dr Zimmerman he didnt take any responsibility, he just said it happens. one day we were sitting in the waiting area at his office and the front desk lady says it loud oh ******, (my boyfriend) your HIV test came back negativeit was very unprofessional! we brought all these concerns to dr Zimmerman and I almost changed my obgyn. he say down and talked through everything with me and I didnt go anywhere else because I felt it would just put more stress on me. I felt he understood what we expected from him, so I was having faith. we went to get several ultrasounds, more than normal because he found two cysts in my babies brain,he said its common, and it usually clears up so we had more Ukraine just to keep an eye on them. well now after having my baby girl & finding out that she has down syndrome (which we had no clue or forewarning, the pediatrician at delivery told us when she did a physical exam) I feel that those extra ultrasounds were for him trying to see if she had down syndrome, but we were never warned of a possibility. it wasnt until recently that I was going through her stuff that I saw an ultrasound picture of the back of her neck that clearly shows a nuchal translucency, which is a clear sign of down syndrome, and that was dated around me being six months pregnant. when they asked him in the delivery room if he knew or had any signs he seemed very uneasy and said no. it didnt end there, he had told me that his receptionist was going to calm and set up a six week checkup after the delivery, I called them at seven weeks and asked what was going on and they said I was supposed to call. when I came in to get my checkup I didnt get an apology or any sort of acknowledgment for him missing the diagnosis of down syndrome. I didnt say anything, I just wanted to see if he would say anything but he didnt, and is just sad. I dont trust him as a doctor and his receptionist is unprofessional so my suggestion is to go some where else.

And I tried to communicate for two weeks when they answered me they told me that in English to wait a moment, I speak Spanish I had to ask a friend for help to translate for me, adding to that the time they told me to wait turned into one hour. Only once did they tell me that they would call me back and they never did, the truth was it was my first time because I am pregnant and I wanted to see the doctor but the telephone service is terrible

Very bad attention, does not know how to treat a patient and scare that he takes risks and does not want to attend. Very bad for the pesimo doctor.
