The doctor is good, the ultrasound tech is great however front office, receptionist and billing are horrible. They are rude, unprofessional and shouldn’t be working in the health field. I was referred by Dr. Samuels who retired and have nothing but negative experiences with this office. Looking for a new OB/GYN

She delivered my baby herself not an on call doctor which was my fear when I started my pregnancy. I had an amazing experience during the whole pregnancy and delivery process. Im definitely sticking with her for a while.

I cannot express how special and amazing Dr. Patolia has been in my life. I have seen Dr. Patolia since I left my very first OB/GYN in 2008. He was so callous and inappropriate. Dr Patolia has seen me annually at all of my well woman exams and she has brought both of my children into this world.I had precipitous births with both of my children, and my husband can attest that she literally ran in to deliver both of my boys. My first was a natural birth (which I wanted, but his fast approach necessitated it). My second was breech, and I had a scheduled C-section, however I didn’t make it to that. I had my first contraction around 6am and he was out within 3 hours. Again, Dr. Patolia literally ran into the hospital and delivered him. I was intubated, under general anesthesia for my second. My scar, for being what I believe they term a “splash delivery” is perfect. It’s so small and hardly noticeable.Dr. Davis (Patolia’s partner) took both of my calls when I went into labor, however Patolia delivered me.I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a a mew OB/GYN.

Ive seen a couple of negative reviews on here and I truly do not understand them-I guess some people are going to have a problem no matter what you do or theyre just way too entitled for their own good and think theyre the only patient in the world. 1 woman complained about not having Dr. Patolia deliver her child - that happens - its whoevers on call.I dearly love Dr. Patolia - she was my sisters doctor for all 4 of my nephews and she was mine through my first pregnancy. Im now pregnant again and am so happy to have her on my team.Dr. Patolia is smart, personable, and easy to talk to. She listens to your concerns, comes up with solutions, double-triple checks that you dont have any additional questions and her team is quick to answer the phone and either help you with whatever you need (prescription refills, etc.) or get you in touch with a nurse.So glad I moved to her after a bad experience with a previous judgmental, uncaring OBGYN I had through my teenage years and 20s.

Fast visits which was a plus for me howeverDr. was very insensitive and one of the receptionist seemed to be rude most of the time. At my anatomy scan my son who is my first and only child was diagnosed with a high risk genetic disorder that meant he could pass away at any time. At one of my visits I asked Dr. Patolia how will I be delivering and she stated that it will be a natural birth even if baby was still breached since the outcome(death) would be the same and would not do a C-Section. I felt that this was very insensitive. Thankfully my baby stayed in the right position and was born alive. Also I was delivered by Dr. Samora who was an on call Dr. from the TWH because Dr. Patolia was off and her cover Dr. Montañez was not onsite even though she had just induced me a few minutes before.I was also diagnosed with severe preeclampsia which lasted a few weeks after birth. Dr. stated that I will be seen for a follow up 4 weeks after delivery but I never received an appointment notification and when I called they stated that I will receive a call back and I am now 2 months postpartum and never received a follow up appointment.Overall Dr. Patolia was a nice person and for a normal pregnancy I would recommend but I will never think about going back to this office for future pregnancies.

Never been so disappointed Dr. Patolia I put my trust in you that you were going to take care of my daughter, it being her first child. You not only let me down but her as well. We live in Spring Texas, almost an hour drive away. My daughter would drive all the way to have her check ups with YOU! She drove in inclement weather, heavy traffic, feeling ill and sometimes by herself. I understand that you have other patients, I understand that emergencies come up and you are not always available to meet with YOUR patients. However, what I can not grasp is the fact that halfway into her second trimester, Dr. Montanez ( who showed a lack of empathy when I spoke to her) was taking over. My daughter should have been told you were no longer going to be her doctor. I have to say what infuriates me the most out of all this is the fact you were not present to deliver the baby. Neither was Dr. Montanez ( I am totally ok with this) Some doctor she never met, talked or heard of. Alexis was never given the opportunity to research this person. If we wanted ANY doctor Dr.Patolia, we would have found ANY doctor here in Spring. She has been out of the hospital going on a week now and not a phone call from you yet. My daughter was treated with complete disregard. Shame on you!

Dr Patolia was my doctor for my fourth pregnancy and I delivered on 8-10-2020. She is by far the best OBGYN I have ever visited. She is very confident; so confident that you will leave her office feeling confident about whatever issue you were having. My pregnancy was high risk and she took such good care of me and my baby and monitored me extra close after 28 weeks. I really love her! I’m so thankful for her!

I thank God 1st and foremost for He definitely uses instruments of caring and healing to the sick. Dr. D. Patolia and her team surpassingly serves this purpose. It could have been difficult submitting myself to surgical intervention just barely knowing her without an established patient/doctor relationship just yet. But we break that barrier and prove that a SAFE and QUALITY CARE is within reach having the right people in place, right approach, right attitude and right place! This Pandemic definitely doesn’t meet this “right criteria” but once again we beat the scare and fear of pandemic not including the “fear of the unknowns” that I already have becoming a patient.The entire team was great starting from the pre-op, intra-op and PACU and can’t forget the Anesthesia team as well! Each one plays his/her role to my care! I got the A Team and having said....my surgery was very successful and my recovery was smooth and easy as well with no bumps along the way. As of note, I’m on my 11th day post surgery, I have been feeling great and hardly having pain...scarcely taking pain medication. The greatness I am right now defines the quality of care and expertise my health care providers afforded to me. Kudos and more power to the whole team spearheaded by Dr. Patolia!

What an absolutely wonderful doctor! I found Doctor Patolia very soft and kind upon my first meeting with her. She is also very confident. Her confidence put me at ease immediately. I had surgery for fibroids and it went very well. I am so grateful for Doctor Patolias expertise and wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Patolia has helped me with my uterine fibroids . She was aggressive yet gave you options and she even broke down the pros vs. cons of each treatment options for me. She has the heart of a teacher, even if you do not have the back ground knowledge in medicine. And let’s be honest, with this day and age we can google facts. Dr. Patolia’s personality and expertise quickly awarded her the spot as not only my surgeon but my gynecologist for life. I would recommend her to my mother, daughter, and all of my friends. She is kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely cares about not only you, but how you are treated, and even how you are billed. Dr. Patolia is exceptional! During one of our visit we had a concern about how the blood drawn process for Genetic testing was handled at Progenity Lab on One Fannin. After discussing it with her she immediately called the Company while we waited in a room. She addressed the situation and we were able to have a redrawn the same day. Kudos to her and her staff.

I have been seeing her since 2006!She delivered both of my live baby boys (she circumcised them both) and cared for me when I lost another baby early (performed my d&c). I wouldnt want anyone else. She takes her time to answer all of your questions and works with you to get the delivery you want. When not possible to get what you want, she advises you with care and compassion on all the options. Her staff is great too!

Overall, Dr. Dolar Patolia is excellent. I have been with her for years, almost when she was new to the field. She has been great, not eager to give you surgery. If she suggests it, you probably need it for a better quality of life. She has been there through all my womens issues. She is an expert in my opinion. Of course, a couple of times there were issues with my weight gain, and she thought my issues were related to that, but even so, she did not hesitate to go further to find out. Dr. Patolia is a great doctor i have been seeing her for 17 years. I will say that the staff she has in the front desk are not customer service material AT ALL! In the past she had great service provides now it seems they are just mad to be working. We all have our bad days i get it but i have been there 3 times this week and well same old story with them. I keep going because i love my doctor, but i will be letting her know that this staff the lady that gives appointments out is just rude and not presentable at all. The lady in the front calling out names discussed blood work with a person waiting staying we can not find it you have not been here for a year from what our records state. The lady responded i have been her every month for the past 3 months. Come on guys you represent an awesome doc, you have a great job! Be thankful, humble and kind it makes you day a lot better!

I’ve been going to Dr Patolia for over 15 years and have loved every visit. She takes time to listen and get to know you as a person. I’ll never forget being pregnant and sobbing about gaining too much weight - according to the books. She told me that her job was to worry about my weight and my job was to grow a healthy baby. She then told my husband to go home and throw out the scale and not to bring it back until after the baby was six months old!!!Years later I was pregnant with twins - Dr Patolia herself gave birth to twins (without a c-section) a few years before. She supported my choices every step of the way. And I did end up needing a c section but made I made it all the way to 37 weeks . They were each over 6 lbs and breach!My favorite quote from her was when I was worried about needing a c section . She told me that “the end goal is a happy and healthy baby - that is the finish line - how you cross it doesn’t matter” she was right. I’ve delivered both ways - all beautiful and healthy.

Knowledgeable physician with great bedside manner. However, I agree with previous comments that the staff is terrible. I work in health care and know whats appropriate and what isnt. They take weeks to contact you, and are rude when you ask about the delay. You pretty much have to chase for answers. I originally went with Dr. Patolia, due to a colleagues recommendation, but she warned me about the staff. A month ago, she only had 3 stars, all poor reviews were regarding staff.

Amazing. I was referred to Dr Patolia for a hysterectomy due to an enlarged uterus. Dr Patolia, her staff and the staff at Texas Womens Hospital where so incredibly sweet, caring and wonderful. Dr. Patiola is excellent. I highly recommend her to everyone and not only for those who are expecting. She’s all around amazing. I’ve been seeing Dr. Patiola for over 10 years and am so fortunate to have had her handle my first and now second. Dr. Patiola’s practice is amazing (Nini is my favorite!). Its welcoming and inviting- everyone is always so friendly. With non OB concerns you can get in the same day and blood work comes back so quickly because they have an in office lab. I can call and ask questions and they always are right there to answer and/or call right back. I had a higher risk pregnancy and am so grateful for Dr. Patiola. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum and she was always there to take great care of me and my baby. She never once brushed off any of my concerns. I’m now pregnant with my second baby while going through the same thing and I feel as though I’m her only patient (she’s that good). I love Dr. Patiola!! Make an appointment.. you won’t be disappointed.

Clean place ang great staff. I strongly reccomend her. I was struggling finding a Dr that would take me in at 11 weeks and they schedule me right away with no questions asked.

She is the best doctor! I am so happy I had her to deliver my first born!

The office is cold and they didn’t even have a working water machine. Someone glued a sticker “no hot water” and no tea and you have to press a button REALLY hard to get icy cold water in an office with already freezing temperature. They said the air conditioner and water were machine broken. Well those can be fixed, right? If each of the Drs sharing the office chip in it may not even cost that much unless you don’t want to spend the money and don’t care about patients comfort.The smell of the air freshener is very strong and not comfortable for pregnant patients suffering from nausea. The waiting room is very crowded and the wait is long.She does the tests on you before telling you that she’s about to do them or what they are for. I was on table waiting for what I expected to be a transvagjnal ultrasound, she came with a tube and a swab, and only told me what she’s about to do after I tried to stop her realizing it’s not an ultrasound swab she’s going there with. Turns out It’s PAP and STD testing. I had PAP done recent and it was negative and I’m no risk for STDs but the main shocker was that she would just approach a patient like this and start poking/inserting swabs in them without explaining or getting their consent for that specific procedure first. A big red flag that shows no regard for consent.I found out also that she performes forced circumcisions on infants, a cosmetic procedure that is condemned in most civilized world and not recommended by any medical organization. To me its archaic, unethical and unacceptable. I don’t want care from a provider who practices on prejudice on myths and has regard for persons right to genital integrity.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patolia for 13 years. I love her!!! She is very thorough and take time to answer any of my questions!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Patolia for at least 15 years and she is a great Ob-Gyn Doctor. She has handled all of my reproductive/well woman exams and addresses any concerns I have. She has even performed major surgery on me to remove a very large fibroid several years back and I recovered quickly with no issues or complications....I recommend her to any woman needing an OB-GYN Doctor who has a vast amount of experience and truly cares for her patients.

Dr Patolia is truly a God send. I have been seeing her for 14 years, since my pregnancy with my 2nd child. Dr Patolia is warm, caring, and takes time to really connect with her patients. Her knowledge and passion for what she does is second to none.

Dr. Patolia is, in my opinion, the best gynocologist in all of Houston. She has delivered both of my current children, and will soon deliver my third. There is currently no one I trust more in terms of my wife my babies health. She is to my knowledge the best for cesarean sections in this state (in my opinion the world). Honestly, she is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She has helped us in the best of times, and has saved my family thru the worst of times. There is NO one I would trust more, and my wife adores her.If you are blessed enough to have the opportunity to have Dr. Patolia as your doctor, then jump on that chance!!!

Dr Patolia is great! Staff at this office however is very rude and disorganized! I waited 2 hrs for one office visit because they lost me in their que. The office staff will call and harass you about bills that are incorrect (Janie), so if you go to this office please make sure to ask questions about your bill because you will be overcharged, I was twice! Also I wanted all of my records from the office to take to another Doc and they sent them to me through the mail and guess what? It was another patients documents! Visit at your own risk! Such a disappointment that this physician has such horrible staff, hopefully things change in the future!

I am new to Texas and finding new doctors in a new city always causes anxiety. I was a little hesitant to see this doctor after reading the reviews on here, but I was referred by another gynecologist, who is retiring soon, and also by a co-worker. I am so glad the staff and the doctor proved the bad reviews wrong. Setting up an appointment was quick and with good appointment time options. The office is pretty easy to find. You do have to park in a pay garage. Some construction work is going on in the elevator and floor areas. The sitting area of the office is clean and comfortable. I read they moved to a bigger office. There is a lot of staff at the front desk area. They need an even bigger space and updates to house everyone. However; the staff was very nice and kind from beginning to end. Dr. Patolia is wonderful. We met and talked one on one before I was taken to an exam room. I didnt feel rushed and she listened and was very thorough. Last Wednesday, she performed my hysterectomy. I actually feel great a week later. My co-worker who referred me also had a hysterectomy recently done by Dr. Patolia and she was able to return to work partially after 2 weeks. Dr Patolia was great. The Womans Hospital of Texas was great and they are right next door to the office. So Im happy to say that I think I have found my permanent Gynecologist.

Dr. Patolia has been my Obgyn for 6 and a half years and has delivered my 3 children. Her expertise in the work that she does and also knowledge has made me a very satisfied patient. Even when I moved out of Houston I travel to her office for my visits. Her staff are very courteous when you call and they do not have long wait times. The is one of the best Obgyn clinics in Houston. Dr. Patolia is extremely relatable and warm to her patients she takes her time to explain issues with her patients. I love her!!!

I have been going to Dr Patolia for 13 years, she is a very kind and understanding. She answers all the questions and is very patient. My young adult daughters now go to her and it is comforting to know they are with a very knowledgeable and experienced doctor. When my daughter became pregnant, I was not ready to be a gramma but Dr Patolia walked with us through every step and made it so much better. She is a mother herself and she has a sweetness about her but she also communicates things well, even if it isnt always what you want to hear she is honest and straight forward. I appreciate her very much as a ob and gyn.
