My husband left west Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation for poor patient service. The institution has my husbands medicines. I dont know if they returned them to the pharmacy. Over the weekend the doctor prescribed pain medicine for now to solve the emergency at home. Dont go to that place

Im totally grateful for this facility how they have handled my brother with care, kindness, understanding & professionalism!!! We all as Hospital workers have room for improvement. Thanks in advance West Oaks!!!

I was called for interview RN position in this facility. The interviewer insulted my personality. She said someone told her that nursing profession in my country doesnt worth it. Even if someone told you that, why cant you go ahead and conduct your research. If you care to know, some nurses in my country have diploma, degree, masters and PhD. Some had passed nclex and they are waiting for the Visa to be approved if not for the pandemic issue. Some have been working here and they are doing good. If nursing profession doesnt worth it in my country, why would USA and UK recruit nurses from there. Individual nursing education were evaluated and licensing were verified before att for nclex exam. I know Im newly licensed and I need the experience that was the reason I applied to your facility. You as an interviewer did you have your experince overnight or built your experience in a day. Even if you are not going to offer me the job, that doesnt give you the audacity to insult and embarrassed me. In one word, your statement is derogatory. When you placed out advert for job openings, try and list the countries that you want your candidates to come from.

Please take your relatives that need long term assistance somewhere else, because this place is poorly managed and they dont take good care of the elderly. A lunch plastic transparent box of sandwich and fruit had been left sitting next to my moms bed for days and mold had started coming out of it. Also when we came to see her, she didnt even have drinking water in her water container. Nurses are hard to find and you come to a creepy empty hallway. If your relative needs therapy, just make sure you get them out of there as soon as they get better. If they must have a permanent nursing home, find a better one. I do hope they better their service when they see this. This is a rough review, but for constructive purposes and to keep the public aware. Thanks

We would like to place on record our deepest appreciation and grateful thanks, for the outstanding devotion, great nursing ability, amazing help of the care that all the staff at West Oaks Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center showed our father. Everyone contributed to making his last months as comfortable as possible.Naturally we were saddened at his passing, but we know he was at peace and died with grace. We know our father appreciated all that was done to help him spend his last days in comfort and free of pain and we will be forever grateful to you all.We only ever saw him treated with respect, dignity, deep concern and kindness. Knowing our father was in such good hands brought a sense of peace to our entire family. Thank you all, it meant a great deal to know he was in such kind and capable hands, we will never forget your kindness, and you will remain a part of our loving memory of our father.You are all to be congratulated on the job you do so well and the difference you make to so many lives.The De Pavía Family

West Oaks is an older facility that looks worn however the staff work very hard keeping it clean. The 3 stars are earned by the staff if not the facility. I was there daily while a family member lived there and I saw day staff working non stop caring for residents and keeping the facility clean and orderly. I am not as sure about night time staff therefore I withheld 1 star. Also, nurses do not respond as quickly as I would like but nursing assistants that do most of the patient care are very dedicated and kind to the residents. I looked at many nicer, more expensive facilities that had horrible reviews because the staff did not take adequate care of the residents despite the beautiful surroundings. I feel comfortable recommending West Oaks but caution that ANY facility needs a strong presence/support system from the family. The staff cannot fill the gap of a family support group.

OMG! This place smells like dead body. Awful smells came out from some rooms when you walk by. 🤮

My father was just transferred there and his experience already is dreadful. Im getting my pops out of there. West oaks your staff needs an education in their position! Your staff is rude and very cold towards patients. My father is a amputee and is on dialysis. Who can I contact to address my issue. Im having my father removed tomorrow!

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Drug dealing. Nurses who yell at patients. Men walking through the womens shower. Nasty food. I left AMA because it was so scary.
