Yes its a mosque. Well maintained. Be very careful where you park. My car was recently towed after vising the mosque for no more than 10 mins. I wish the masjid staff were as aggressive with resolving parking issues as they are with chasing people for donations.

Decent Masjid, they are open during the day even when it isnt time for Jamaat (congregational prayer)It is somewhat easy to access by public transit. The Bus stops for 82 - Westheimer, 41 - Kirby, and 25 - Richmond are all within a 1/2 mile walking distance.Parking is a bit of an issue during Jumah / Friday prayers, so be aware that if you are arriving last minute be ready to walk. Alot. The parking lot is not designed to handle the crowd of people if the masjid is at full capacity.

Good people, nice place to read Quran, and to do worship.

This is a holy and nice place to worship Allah. Nonetheless, the managers are encouraged to place a covered separation between men and women inside the mosque.

This masjid houses some of the best Islamic classes and personal sessions. They always have available drinks and plenty of staff to help new comers. Any time I come to this mosque, I always feel at home. Nothing every beats River Oaks Islamic Center.

Its a beautiful very diverse community mostly of young corporate professionals and families that work and live around the area. One of the few isgh mosques/centers that offer a variety of classes and events and by far the best Friday sermons. Parking can be a little tricky on Friday or during big events but if you know the area or get there early enough you would be fine.

As a Muslim this Organization Is a joke .... none of their Friday prayers imams speak English very well..... I wish we had good speakers and motivators in this community to help young Muslims understand the religion.

Very well organized but needs improvement on the phone call operator training. The operator is unwelcoming, seems to not know enough to answer questions and rushed me off the phone. Please be nice especially when you represent and engage the public.

A place to visit, tiles, carpet and the bathroom fixture was donated to the masjid by Morroco consulate. Everyone is welcome here. Open for general public.

ISGH is doing wonderful jobs for Muslim communities

A little better than the Woodside ground floor that it superseded in terms of capacity but one wonders why so much huffing and puffing about parking with very little progress to show in nearly forty years.Many, many obedient servants constantly keeping all operations running smoothly yet none have been able to break the glass ceiling. Perhaps they are content, MaShahallah.

Of course best place in the world is Masjid! This beautiful Masjid is the right and best place to learn about Muslims and Islam.

When I came to this mosque for the Jumaa prayer, I didnt expect to hear someone insulting Islam and the great muslim scholars. I was shocked when I heared the so called khateeb mocking the quranic verse: يُوصِيكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي أَوْلَادِكُمْ ۖ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ which means: Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. He claimed that this is unfair for the female, which is truly unbelievable to be heared from someone who claims to be a muslim. How can this be unfair if Allah (the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful) ordered us to do?This man also insulted all the great muslim scholars and what he called their ancient tricks and yellow pages books from the tenth century. In addition, he mocked the islamic sharia and said that if we, as muslims, want to move forward, we must abandon all the islamic heritage such as the Hadith studies and the principles of islamic jurisprudence (Uṣūl al-fiqh). It is really a disgrace to allow someone as ignorant and islam-hating as this man to stand up in the day of jumaa and lecture people about Islam.

I have went to ISGH main office on several occasion trying to get in touch with Sister Bibi to no avail she has yet to return several emails that was sent to her from the sister that works the front desk. My family is in need of emergency food coupons and all I am getting is the run arounds from ISGH can someone PLEASE HELP and point me in the right directions.

Something needs to be done about the women’s prayer side it’s open for everyone to look at our sisters bowing and prostrating it’s very shameful and disgraceful and no one seems to be doing anything about it at least cover the windows and put a curtain it’s not like the sisters r covered properly to begin with...everything’s open sesame!
