The club that has been running for more than 42 years, without missing a single scheduled meeting - this goes to show the resilience, passion and resolution of all of its past and present members. It won many distinguished club awards and has one of the highest number of DTMs (distinguished toastmasters) in the district. I love how diverse and inclusive the atmosphere is -- beyond improving on my speaking skills, I also made some great friends!

Joining this club has been a wonderful and invaluable experience! I enjoyed the positive environment since the very first meeting I attended. 1960 North Houston Toastmasters has been my home club for nearly two years now. My colleague at the University where I work thought to suggest I find a club in my area, and I did! From the very beginning, I knew my club was special. I love watching the difference it makes in others’ lives! Toastmasters has helped improve my overall verbal and written communication skills. I love the leadership track that I am on, and I aspire to be a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) one day.

Joining this club earlier this year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve learned so many things in just few months. I even learn just by watching people speak up front and see their progress! It is motivating. The DTMs (Distinguished Toastmasters) are so helpful and I always look forward to the time they go up front and speak! The new aspiring Toastmasters are also great advisors and coaches. We give feedback to each other after our meeting. Everyone in this club uplift each other and I love it!

I have been a member of this club for several years. The organization, the club and its members have helped me with my public speaking fears. There are many things to like about this club but I think one of the best is the opportunity to meet different people and hear the amazing stories and information they share.
