My new therapist is Joyce Sauter and she is amazing. She remembers things from before, minor as they may be to others she knows they are important to me. She listens.......REALLY LISTENS .....to what is going on in your life and helps make a plan to work through or leave behind the part that is totally disrupting your life. How to cope, an example of her just being awesome. We will talk of things that disrupt my entire life and while we are talking I cry and let go of my fear but, when my appointment is over Im not dwelling on the past and having to cope with our discussions topic. I am able to move on with a positive attitude and desire to do what I need to do to overcome my fear, anxiety, etc. Joyce always knows how to help me through whatever battle, fear, or situation I have at hand. I have spoken to therapists in the past and Im depressed and anxious the rest of the day and evening, which in the past has brought on really dark thoughts. Not with Joyce, I actually feel like I can work through all these issues over time with her. I have prayed and prayed for help and I think the Good Lord has brought Joyce into my life right at the perfect moment. In my past experiences with therapy, I have left my appointment in a worse state of mind and it has depressed me so much more that I completely shut down. I dont get out, I cry every night and after several therapy sessions, I will just stop going because it is just too much to handle.NOT WITH JOYCE! Joyce is a pleasure to talk with and she truly wants to help. She is the real deal, she cares and has the skills and desire to really help people. Thank you so much Joyce and LifeStance of Texas for having such great therapists!

I have been very happy with the quality of providers, however, the emails containing session links are inconsistent and unreliable.

The only reason I do any business with LifeStance Health, is because my doctor is absolutely the best Ive worked with for this specialization.The office, and their staff, have definite need for improvements on behalf of the clients. Small changes are within reach and reap huge dividends.I hope to update, edit, and offer a more balanced review. Communication is important; it affects everything, right?

Let me first say that my therapists was great and she helped with some of my anxiety. With that said, LifeStance Health has terrible customer service, scheduling, and billing support. They do not answer the phone when you call, and instead call you back with 24 hours. I had several questions about my bill and could not get an answer after contacting them for several days. My appointments increased in price but they did not let me know until I completed several sessions assuming I was on the previous rate covered by insurance. Unless you absolutely need to work with a specific therapists here, I would not recommend this agency.

Just a perfect experience from the secretarys and my doctor would not change anything

I have only had 2 sessions with my counselor but so far, I’m very satisfied with the work we’ve done! I’m looking forward to more.

Today was my first time visiting the clinic using telehealth. Overall, it was a good experience. I enjoyed meeting my therapist and she was really great, personable, and kind. I felt she was engaging and interested in listening / providing suitable feedback. Would highly recommend.

So far I am pleased with the quickness and kindness shown to me. Very professional.

The staff is very professional from start to finish. I booked my appointment online with an actual staff member who ensured that my appointment and proper documentation was done. The front office staff was quick and polite and my behavior specialist addressed my concerns. I would certainly recommend this office

I have been utilizing therapy for 25 years as a patient and this is perhaps the worst run doctors office I have ever experienced. Zero communication skills and zero empathy. Not one appointment booked properly. As a no longer potentially new patient I will gladly give my money and time elsewhere. Just remember someone is hurting on the other end of the phone.

Had some issues with sleep, but was not able to meet with an ENT/sleep specialist doctor for several weeks. Decided I would reach out to Progressive Behavioral Health to see if there was something that could help in the mean time. They prescribed an antidepressant (without diagnosing me with depression) because it ~could~ have sedative properties. Unbeknownst to me, this set off a red flag on my medical certification for a professional license. When I reached out to get a clarification in writing for the licensing body, they sent a generic letter about how I need an Emotional Support Animal??? No mention of the drug, not to mention, definitely not a good look to the professional board that needs to know whether I am at risk to harm myself or others.This place is a joke. Treating the fact that they could lose me my professional license with such apathy and ignorance is abhorrent.

I love my Doctor , but the practice overall is a mess. It’s very hard to communicate with staff. You can’t reach anybody through the phone and they never reply on the patient message center they make you use.Patient care should be their first priority and how can they care for them if you can’t ever talk to them.

Lifestance/Progressive Behavioral Health is unprofessional. As a patient I have been trying to reach them for over a week about a form that I need from a medical provider but have gotten no response or follow up. It makes me question the legitimacy of this operation. It seems they don’t have anyone to answer the phone, email, or their messaging system. I understand health care workers are busy but I can’t think of any reason for a provider’s office to ignore a client. The nurse herself is decent but my experience with this office has been extremely frustrating.

Terri Peerenboom is absolutely the best. Shes kind, she listens, shes extremely personable. As well as the office staff. Im absolutely satisfied and would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

The service is non existent.I had a video appointment months ago through their app. The app malfunctioned and would not let me sign into the video call. They charged me $150 for a no show fee. I have tried multiple times to get ahold of them. No one answers the phones and in the messaging app the only reply I get seems like an automated response completely ignoring what I say. Now several months later I am getting a $200 bill in the mail and I still can’t get ahold of anyone there to resolve this. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a medical provider.

I had a great experience with my doctor and the front office at the clinic. If you have and questions or concerns they will reach out to you to help you resolve them. I will be continuing to use this clinic in the future.

I had a very good experience. My first therapy session with Maria was amazing. Much more than I expected. I look forward to continuing to working with her and the Progressive Behavioral Health team. Had a teletherapy appointment. Staff is very responsive. Highly recommend! I’ll be back.

Highly recommended. But had trouble making contact with an actual person. Extremely frustrating. The message center app that direct you to is impassible. No responses for over a week and no telephone calls from an actual person. Stayed in a loop for over a week.Interesting level of operation for a Psy/Phycologist office... This was enough to drive someone crazy.Once I made contact, had to start all over again. Melody was fantastic

I made an appointment a week ago and the day of my appointment the provider said I wasn’t on her schedule and was dismissive and told me to call the main line. This was after they took $30 from my account and told me that they don’t prescribe the medication that I take.

Great experience with Rachel Jackson! This was my first time, and I never felt judged and felt very comfortable throughout the process. All my questions were answered, and I felt content knowing i am getting the help I finally need.

The Drs here are like a breath of fresh air after the last psychiatrist my daughter was seeing. Wonderful and attentive! Asks all the right questions, in my opinion.

Initially my experience with PBH was great! I was getting help. I was able to start trying to get my life started. But miss one appointment and the billing stack up. Its my fault I forgot about my appointment. I take responsibility for that but the lack of communication the staff has with people trying to make appointments is ridiculous. I have to call multiple times in a row for someone to answer my call. No one let me know I had a balance to pay until 30 minutes before my appointment and because I couldnt pay anything at the time I got charged another $150 dollars. I know they dont have anything to do with the billing but it would have been nice to at least communicate with patients.

I really like my doctor Davidson Ewuize his great! 🙂 The only problem is how can I reach my doctor so he can do a prior authoritization for a medication? My pharmacy has also tried to contact his office. Ive left a message on Klara and Ive called but no ones answered the phone. Im hoping I can reach my doctor or his workers through here. Other than that my doctor is great and awesome!

Great doctors. Horrible office staff. No one calls you back or refills meds. 4 times I’ve called and used their message app to get my sons rx refilled and they have yet to call me back. Also messaged the office to get a message to my sons dr. She never got it. You can’t operate a doctor office like this. Stay away from them.

Martina is amazing! She listens to me, does not jump in to conclusions, and does not push medications or therapies I do not want. She makes time to answer my questions. I can contact her through the patient portal, and she responds that same day or the next. It is nice to have a video session with her because I get much needed feelings of hope and positivity. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for years to the point I was paralyzed and not enjoying life. I have been seeing her for the past 3 months and things are much better. I am glad I found her!

I had very high hopes that my daughter would finally receive the care that she desperately needs. Unfortunately that was not meant to be with this place. Our virtual appointment was cancelled literally at the time that it was supposed to begin. They demonstrated a complete lack of concern or regard for the mental health of a child. Go somewhere else if looking for quality mental healthcare.

I like the service and the nurse practitioners I have had as shrinks. I do not like all their policies, because those change with the MDs in charge and the MDs in charge seem to change often. The other problems I have is that their messaging system is not great. Still, I like the two “shrinks” I have had and that matters most. I do the visits virtually because of Covid and my high risk status.

Dr. Smith & Dr.Demby are phenomenal!

The Doctor was very nice and on time, he ordered a couple of studies and this is where the problem reside. They never call me and you try to call them you will be leaving a messageTwo to four days to respond if they do.

Love Dr Manuel Guillen. He is wonderfully nice and patience. He always take time and eager to listen. Highly recommend him! Yet we have been to many docs throughout.

I had high hopes for this place but they are going VERY downhill. They cancelled me and my sons appointments abbruptly about a month ago, and I decided to reschedule and give them another shot. Unfortunately they dont appear to have enough staff with the bandwidth to care about their patients. I am on medication so refilling doses is essential to maintaining a healthy mental balance (they truly dont seem to care)- my son needed testing and they still haven’t scheduled it. I called my doctor all week trying to send a message for which she had 0 response or concern then the icing on the cake is that My appointment for today - was missed. I confirmed on the phone yesterday and after taking 1hr break while im on set at work to step away for my appointment- the doctor never shows. Not only is this a disregard for my mental health - its a disregard for my time. I would never recommend this business- save your time and money for an office that has doctors who care.

Never received video link for my sons appointment.. Tried to call office with no answer.. Highly disappointed..

The Nurse practitioner psychiatrist was not willing to even listen to the patient problems and was only talking about the medication given by the PCP which did not suit her with bad side effects.

Dr Guillen at PBH is so helpful, and he goes above and beyond for his patients.
