Best doctor I have ever been to and because of a very active and competitive lifestyle, I have been to a very long list of doctors in the US and internationally. I have never met a doctor so committed to his patients well being. Dr. Lamarra invested great care and time to really understand the injuries, even walking through the simulation or recreating accidents to better understand impacts, angles and full extent of injuries.I can with confidence say that without his great care, expertise, experience and knowledge, there is a very high probability I would not be mobile, active and enjoying life to this degree. Giving another human the gift of walking, running, exploring, playing ball with my son and daughter, traveling without crutches, canes or a chair, is an absolute bless for which I will be forever grateful to Dr. Larmarra. I also want to clarify that this is not a testament to the advances in medicine, as I had been to a many orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists and other specialists before seeing Dr. Lamarra. He is uniquely and solely responsible for saving my mobility.Just so you know how serious some of these injuries were, here are pictures of just one.Dr Lamarra, is an exceptional doctor. 100 stars!

Cant rate Dr LaMarra, as I never got to see him - but his whole front office staff needs to be trained or all together removed. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, signed in - I was asked to fill out a questionnaire and asked for an ID and insurance card (which I supplied). The front office staff walked out handed me my cards and said this is an HMO with so much venom , I was startled and thought wow is having an HMO a disease? (her) You need a referral. (me) Ok - I made my appointment 3 weeks ago - could this not have been handled prior to me showing up? (me) can you call my primary? (her) no you have to do it. As I tried calling my primary to see if they could made this happen - and speak to them with my mask on - they had the TV on so Loud in the waiting room I could not hear a thing - they offered absolutely no help - no customer service at all. I just decided to leave. I traveled 45 minutes to see this Dr. based on his 5 star rating - unfortunately I could not get to see him. My message to him - rethink your staff - if you as Dr receive 5 stars your staff should be a reflection of you.

Dr. Lamarra, Patricia and Elaine have been taking care of my bad workaholic and injured feet for over 15 years.Dr. Lamarra is amazing and has done a great job making sure that Im walking at my best.His staff Elaine and Patricia are wonderful.Thank God for them all.Call them for an appointment today.

I dont know what I would do without this Dr. I like to think of him as almost a friend. He takes excellent care of my feet-ankles takes time listening to my issues and explaining solutions! He has the most friendly and compassionate bedside manner I have ever seen in a DR. He cares about people! He is very knowledgeable so if you want a DR who has your best interest at heart regarding treatment to get you in better shape in his expertise this is your guy! One of the BEST Dr experiences of my life... Seriously. Had an issue with my big toe and had NO IDEA why it was hurting but recently moved top the area and did a quick search. Looked at a few reviews and all seemed good so I booked an apt. First, the receptionist was VERY friendly and they squeezed me in the SAME day. Big points there... once I got there and met the staff, the Doctor, got the diagnosis, and left it was literally the best Dr visit Ive ever had. Great team, fantastic bedside manor from the Dr and just a great experience. Dont hesitate to go here!!

Dr.Lamara is one of the best foot Doctors I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and him handling my foot and ankle after having a car wreck. He’s very professional, positive, and encouraging. He’s not quick to rush into surgery. He’s very approachable and listens. I highly recommend Dr. Lamara!

Treated me as a person with dignity and respect. Great doctor and patiently answered all of my questions. Office staff was great to work with and happy, which is a rare thing in Houston! They are pleasant, answer the phone wanting to help, genuinely greet you with a smile and remember each patient! He made sure I was comfortable and understood the treatment plan. I like how I can call the office and ask a question and get either an immediate response or a call back that day with answers. Very communicative and understanding. I wish all Drs cared as much about their patients as Dr L.

Dr. LaMarra and his staff are second to none! They are truly focused on the patient experience and have fantastic follow-up! I recently had surgery on both feet simoltaneously and the care and concern they illustrated was comforting and refreshing! Especially since this procedure took place during the holidays. Dr. LaMarra has a great sense of humor. This helps the process....but what really helps is a factual discussion regarding the surgical procedure, its benefits and what to expect. I cant say enough about the services and care that I received from Shepherd Square Podiatry. The entire staff is top drawer!

I rarely refer to Medical Doctors, however i found Dr. LaMarra to be very kind and gentle while helping my sister with her foot issue. I then sent my best friend to him and again, great care! Ive now sent 3 clients to him and they all received great care! I have no hesitation in referring him. Dr. LaMarra is a good and caring doctor!

There’s always a wait and I never received any reminders for my appointments. One time my appointment was cancelled due to weather and I wasn’t even notified. The doctor tried a bunch of different therapies without even ordering X-rays or an MRI to make sure his diagnosis is correct. Also, the doctor’s staff is far from welcoming. Needless to say, I don’t recommend going to this doctor.

Amazing doctor. My husband had his foot completely reconstructed by Dr. Lamarra and we appreciate his help on getting him walking again. Couldnt have asked for a more friendly and pleasant doctor to work with.

I came to this doctors office as a kid. To this day I havent any problems with my feet, I had bunions on both feet. He was also was there when I cracked my ankle and even though this is a natural recover, he explained the process of it and made sure I understand. This was almost 20 years ago. Now I am taking my daughter due to her feet problem and I cant wait for her to experience what its like for a doctor to actually care about your problem.

Dr. Lamarra is friendly and knowledgeable and he was very patient with me when I went to him as I had a very painful ingrown toenail that he was able to quickly fix. The relief was immediate and he even followed up with me to ask how I was doing and if the pain was gone. It was nice to get such focused service. He genuinely cared.

Doc Lamarra was very personable and took the time to explain my issue to me in easy to understand form. The wait was also very short which I was very impressed with. Its good to have a specialist like him as he really knows his stuff.

He’s a wonderful doctor , listens and answers questions and explains them to a tee , He’s staff is great too.

I had double ingrown toenails that were making it almost impossible to walk. They were infected and really hurt bad. Shepherd Square Podiatry was able to remove the infection and have my toenails fixed so they wouldnt grow back!

We were extremely pleased with the care my daughter got at her appointment by the doctor and staff, we highly recommend their services.

My whole experience in the office great the staff was very friendly. Dr. LaMarra was excellent.

I have seen Dr. Lamarra for the last two years. He is a great professional and solves foot issues efficiently always thinking on the best interest of the patient. The last visit, I was very concerned with pain in my pinkie toe. Based on my symptoms and what I researched on the internet I was expecting a small surgery. Dr. Lamarra promptly took an Xray, examined and determined that the best course of action at this time was just to peel off part of the dead skin, and wait and see. No pain, no anesthesia needed. More than two weeks have passed and the problem is gone. Needless to say, I recommend Dr. Lamarra without any hesitation!!!.

In my opinion it is possible this Doctor was paid off in order give a false diagnosis on my injury I sustained in a car accident .I am in hell everyday for my pain.In my opinion, dont trust this Doctor
