They will tell you before the procedure that your insurance covers everything and your out of pocket cost is 0$. Then send you a bill a moth later for 500$ saying oh we made a mistake with the initial estimate. I dont know if they made a mistake or wanted to scam me but DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!

My Dr referred me to Houston imaging. Unfortunately they charge a hospital fee in addition to the cost of the X-Ray; consequently, my bill was for $700. I contacted my insurance and they said there’s nothing they could do about it. I researched what the x-rays would have costed elsewhere and it was consistently $30-50. Quick service and friendly staff if you don’t mind the bill.

My wife had an MRI (walk in). They were very prompt and we were done in no time. Paperwork was processed fast. This place is very well managed, I recommend it highly.

Everyone is super friendly and caring!!!!! They are absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! My PCM gave me a referral to another place (not Houston Methodist) and I called my insurance and had them change it ASAP! They are truly the best! I had an arthrogram today (where they go into joint and inject contrast under X-ray) I was kind of nervous doesn’t sound fun, but they explained the whole procedure and not only was it painless but it was super fast and I’m soooo glad I had it changed to them!

Staff was so friendly and efficient. I was totally not wanting to have this procedure but the lady you did my MRI was so nice and understanding. She made me feel at ease.

Very nice staff. I was sent there for an MRI and the staff were very patient, kind and understanding of my claustrophobia. The cost was a bit higher than another place but only by $75. My doctor read the MRI so I have not been charged anything extra at this point. I will be returning today for another procedure and I have full confidence all will be well.

No wait with appointment time. Commenting on others reviews I thought cost of the tests were reasonable but radiologist reading them doubled the price. That is ridiculous.Staff at the facility were all great. It was a pleasant appt.

Lets face it, when youre having to use an imaging service, its not because you just thought itd be something fun to do on a Thursday afternoon. That said, every time Ive needed imaging, this location of Methodist imaging has been great. Also while making an appointment is highly recommended, I have stopped in and was seen at that time. Yolanda and the rest of the staff are the best, both in professionalism and a caring attitude.

AVOID this place. Methodist will charge for equipments and appointments and then Houston Radiology will charge for something extra, they will wait for 3-4 months to share bills with you and directly put on credit report for even 50-60 dollars.. they are total sham. worst mechanism to loot people.

AVOID THIS PLACE SUPER OVERPRICEThis place charge a huge amount for xrays. It is a total overprice. The name is imaging center and they code as a hospital so if you have insurance will be for deductible. You are going to paid 20 times more that the regular price range for xrays. Also it wasn’t provide an up front estimate prior to the procedure so now I have a surprise medical bill that I wasn’t expecting. I’ve been trying to solve this with billing and they always have the same answer.

For same service, this place charge 10 times dollars. stay away and save your money.receive another bill after a couple of month charging for reading the image. cannot believe how they do business.

My review is mainly about the person who processes insurance.When I made the appointment, I requested them to process the procedure through my insurance and give me an estimate of my cost. No one called so I had to contact them the day before the procedure. I was able to speak to a guy who said it would cost me $200. This would about the same cost estimate on my insurances website.About a week after my procedure, I received a bill from my insurance showing I owed an additional $700 so total of $900. I tried to talk to their insurance agent and all they could say was thats the cost of the procedure. They dont know why the guy told me $200. That was shady tactic quoting at a lower rate so I would go to them. Im reporting this to their oversight board also.If I had known it would cost so much, I would have gone to another imaging center.

This place needs to be investigated for criminal extortion. They charged $630 for an xray. When youre sick and your doctor sends you a specific place, you dont have the luxury of shopping around. AVOID this shakedown.I am taking it up with my insurance company and potentially with legal recourse.

This is a borderline criminal medical office. Not only did they charge me 200% the market rate for basic imaging, but they also didn’t tell me I would be charged ANOTHER $350 for “reading” of the images by a separate company, Houston Radiology Associated. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. Save your money and go somewhere else. And check the market before you commit to anything.

Staff very nice and professional. Minimal wait for imaging. Waiting area comfortable, great magazines, snacks and beverages. Best place ever!

I have had four different MRIs at this imaging center and my experience has been excellent every time. The staff are all very professional and polite and were very caring and compassionate regarding my claustrophobia problems. I hope I never need more imaging done but if I do I would go here again, no question.

Love this place. The staff are great. The front receptionist Mrs. Johnson is such an awesome help.

DO NOT get your imaging done here.Same as Nat Lu I was told that the out of pocket cost would be $200 now its mysteriously gone up to $700 out of pocket costs. I will not stand for this unethical practice. Especially knowing that a place 2 miles away would have done it for $400 TOTAL vs $7700!!!!

Outrageous price for an MRI, even with my insurance covers 80%, total price comes up to $14000! Luckily I found some other MRI Center that cost me no more than $300. Would not recommend!

Very difficult to get reports, even if you were the one to send the order. Will not recommend this imaging center to patients.
