As a mom of a disabled teenager, I have worked with three nursing companies. Team Select, by far, has been the most professional and dependable. We have an amazingly caring and competent caregiver for our son and the administrative people are incredibly reliable. Were in Houston and this weeks winter storm catastrophe didnt keep Team Select from calling us daily to ensure we were safe and able to access shelter and water. I know they would have brought us water if wed run out. Ashley, John, Michelle, Fola: thank you for your commitment. And for our nurse, Ada Guerra, you are a blessing!

This is a smaller company than what I have been used to. However, my experience is that they have a very professional office team. If I have questions or concerns about something, they’re able to respond very quickly. The compensation is competitive. They also go out of their way to make sure the family is staffed. Even though I don’t go to the office at all, I feel supported and included. So far, I am happy with where I am right now.

I have had a great experience while working here with Vivicare. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel like you are apart of a family. This company has definitely shown me that they do not only care about the patients and their families, but the employees as well.

Im currently working with this company. Ive had no problems working here. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. Theyre trying to expand to have more nurses and a wider patient base so hopefully everyone will have enough work to keep us busy!

I have been a vent trained nurse (BSN) for almost 10 years, a few of those years have included Home Health, and I have come across quite a few number of Private Duty companies. Theres a reason why Im writing this review, and its because for the past year that Ive been working with Vivicare, Ive been whole less stressed working. The staff at Vivicare are very affable, they actually care about their nurses unlike some companies Ive worked with who only remember your name whenever they need you to fill a shift. One issue that nurses really worry about is what if my permanent patient is admitted in the hospital, will I be able to work?. Well, when that happened to me Vivicare found something for me as soon as they could, and if by any chance the process is taking a little longer based on familys preferences, then Vivicare will be open and honest with you (they actually treat you like the professional that you are). Ive always said to my colleagues, the thing Home Health companies dont get is that if you dont treat your nurses like they matter, then they will be less loyal, they wont even give you feedback on what to improve, theyll just clock in and out and thats it. If on the other hand you do treat nurses like they matter, they will be there with you, helping your company grow. The culture of a company matter, I think Vivicare has got the right culture, which is caring for the families, but also acknowledging the worth of their nurses. I love working with them.Jindu RN, BSN
