Dr. Randolph Lopez took great care of my wrist/hand pain. As always, I waited until I couldnt bear the pain anymore before seeing him. The problem ended up being 2 cysts at the base of my thumb/top of my wrist. Dr. Lopez took care of me and did away with my pain. He fully answered all of my questions and concerns and made sure I had a thorough understanding of my pending procedure. His charismatic bedside manner made me I feel as though weve known each other for years. Dr. Randolph Lopez is a true medical professional who knows his stuff, I will definitely see him again if needed. I 100% recommend him to anyone with hand/wrist issues.

I amputated the tip of my middle finger (shut it in a door) and had surgery to repair it. Dr. Randolph and his staff, both in Spring and at the office on Waugh, made a very traumatic time, bearable. Dr. Lopez did a wonderful job on repairing my finger and his continued care during the healing process was great. Highly recommend Dr. Lopez and his staff.

I now have normal looking hands, which I once again have full use of, following nearly five years of increasing limited useage. After my surgery I shortly underwent physical therapy; the therapists applauded my quick recovery from both surgeries. When they asked who the surgeron was, after I said Dr. Maximos, their response was the same: he is the very best and thats the reason for my prompt recovery. Very good place! Its 100% recommendable.I recently had a broken little finger on my left hand. I had never needed to go to an orthopedic surgeon here in Houston and by good luck, on the internet, I got this place and managed to make an appointment as soon as possible.Dr. Lopez attended my case and that despite seeming simple ag, the place of the fracture inside the finger was very unstable and the most advisable thing was to operate. However, it was decided to try a correction of the bone with immobilization for 5 weeks.I appreciate the entire team at Hand Surgery Specialists of Texas, especially Dr. Lopez, for the professionalism, good advice, and good care. I first came to Dr. Maximus because my son needed surgery, 3 severed tendons in his arm! I love the office staff, they are courteous, efficient, professional caring and appear to enjoy their jobs. Dr. Maximus is such a talented surgeon with a kind and caring bedside manner. I am glad I drove 40 miles for his services. I have carpel tunnel in both hands and a trigger thumb. Dr. Maximus and his staff have my trust and I would not even consider going anywhere else for the surgery!

$2489, That’s what they charge for an office visit and to look at your hands for five minutes, so apparently the insurance company only paid $2177, so they want me to pay 312 bucks….. Hope you have fat pockets

I’m not sure how Dr. Lopez is but his front staff is extremely rude and unprofessional to the point where I walked out before even seeing the doctor. Your front staff represents you and if they’re terrible I would not want to be a patient here. There are many other hand specialists who I will gladly take my business to.

Dr. Randolph Lopez fixed my pain with Bi lateral carpal tunnel surgery he is understanding and listens, the staff is great I highly recommend.

Dr.lopez is pretty awesome! On Christmas day my finger tip was bit off my a dog, I visited him on the following Monday and Tuesday I was having surgery! I just wanted my finger to be closed up,I didnt care how it looked but dr. Lopez was amazing with making it look as normal as possible& I dont know how he did it but it looks great! I was in a car accident and I was referred to Dr. Randolph Lopez because I had a hand and wrist injury after an airbag exploded and hit me. As time passed on he began to change my injury to arthritis. How does one change a persons treatment from an injury to arthritis and expect the insurance company to pay them. As of today the insurance company is refusing to pay him. Anyone with mild arthritis can treat themselves. I came to him for an injury and the 6 months I saw him I kept telling him I was injured. It is now 3 years later. The only way I see this happening the insurance company paid him to change it from being an injury. I hope no one else have to go through this.

Dr. Maximos is the best hand surgeon I worked with. Dr. Khorsandi is the most caring doctor. And Dr. Lopez is a top hand surgeon. The success rate of this clinic is 100% since I met them. I highly recommend them

This office is an excellent, collaborative practice of innovative physicians! I had a unilateral carpal tunnel and pronator release surgery with Dr. Maximos back in 2018. I actually had no idea I had pronator syndrome as well but Dr. Dang is an expert in this area which is great. I really liked that everything is in house, meaning I could get my diagnostic imaging and results typically within the same day. My arm is still doing well to date and Im grateful to have found this practice!

Before I begin ultimately i accept responsibility rests on me to verify certain things with my insurance for any medical provider, however beware. When you call them and ask “do you accept United Healthcare?” They will say “yes”. They do however leave a key detail out which is “we are out of network for United healthcare, and your insurance won’t cover any of the procedures”Frustrating to say the least and very disappointed. No mention at all during my two visits and each time they were sure to charge me the “in-network” copay. It wasn’t until i received the EOB from UHC that i called them and i got the “oh.... we aren’t in UHC network”

Dr. Mark Khorsandi of the Hand Surgery Specialists Of Texas performed carpal tunnel on both of my hands so I would give him a 10 Star review if Google allowed such high marks. Three years later I still can’t believe the lifestyle improvements I’ve experienced. I can lift weights, shoot basketballs, excessively type on a keyboard and most of all sleep comfortably through the night. Dr. K is wonderful. Thank you!

I went to Dr. Mark Khorsandi for migraines. He performed migraine surgery and carpel tunnel surgery on me at the same time. The procedure was long but not painful at all. In fact, I never had to take a pain pill! He was very professional while maintaining a very caring attitude. He truly cares about his patients.I am so glad that I had both of the surgeries. I no longer have migraines. I now have my life back after suffering for nearly 40 years with them. The office manager Jessica and the staff is very sweet and professional. The nurses and the anesthesia dr. at the West Grey location to where i had my surgery really made me feel at ease and very informative with my procedure. Dr. Lopez is truly amazing! Every time I visited the office I always felt welcome by the staff. When I saw Dr. Lopez he took the time to figure out what was wrong with my wrist, even though it wasnt initially obvious. It did require surgery, but he did a fantastic job and corrected my problem. I got a phone call after the procedure to make sure I was doing well, which was a nice surprise! If I ever have issues with my hands or wrists in the future I will absolutely go to Dr. Lopez for treatment.

I have had two separate procedures done with Dr. Maximos and I cannot think of enough wonderful things to say. From the initial appointment he explains not only each step throughout the procedure, but also explains why he does each. He always made sure that I leave satisfied and without any questions. The only thing I would change would be to have seen him three years ago and saving myself years of pain and frustration. Not only has he corrected each of my hand problems, he has recently performed surgery on my Mother, (in her 70s), with no stitches! Terrible service. My husband waited 4 days while they inexplicably could not verify insurance. Then they called and said they resolved it and they would schedule an MRI. No calls or follow up after that. Zero patient service or sense of urgency.

Absolutely wonderful organization! I called in and made an appointment same day to see Dr. Lopez. I was x-rayed and scheduled for surgery in less than 20 minutes, all while they kept me totally informed. His assistants were great in taking care of everything with my insurance. I went to his surgery center on W Grey, and the nurses there were super nice as well! Had me prepped for surgery in no time, and Dr. Lopez was done in 20 minutes and apparently it was not the easiest procedure. Didnt feel groggy from anesthesia, and my recovery has been great. Would highly recommend!!

The feeling of satisfaction when snapping your fingers when getting things done or making a trick shot at a pool table and watching mouths open before you, well I knew the feeling and lost it. Dr. Khorsandi was recommended by a coworker. Ive had problems with my hands since October 17. After overcoming the fears of surgery and having all concerns addressed, we took on the procedure with high hopes. The results were not just positive, they were extraordinary. A bit over a month after the procedure, Ive regained full hand motion and dexterity. They followed up with physical therapy and offered flexibility with scheduling and expenses. They were professional, cordial and did not condescend like other doctor offices do. My son broke his finger running down the stairs. After the emergency room they referred me to the wrong doctor. I googled this location and the staff is super nice the Dr. is Awesome! My insurance from my job left me with a BIG deductible and my son needs surgery. The office staff worked it out that my son can still have his surgery. Im so Grateful!

If you ever need assistance with hand pain or migraines Dr. Khorsandi is your man. I went to him for persistent, nonstop head pain and that same day he also asked about my hands. I had explained my situation and he ordered a EMG straight away. After the conclusion he followed up with my report and we scheduled surgery my second visit.. a couple weeks later and I was absolutely cured from arm and hand pain. A few visits later we followed up a series of botox injections for my migraines which unfortunately didnt work BUT he decided to keep fighting and TRULY wanted to help me. We scheduled migraine surgery for that Friday.. its been about a week and 3 days and I can say Im truly impressed with him.. Im cured. Hes hands down the best doctor you could ever go to. Please go see him; you wont regret.

They are so courteous and professional that every time I walked in I felt like I was a part of their family. I was bitten by a brown recluse and had 2 surgeries on my hand performed by Dr. Maximos and let me just say that if I EVER need work done on my hands and feet again that this will be the only place I choose to help me with those issue. I broke my wrist and my family doctor referred me to this clinic. I was worried that being referred to a clinic specializing in hand surgery I would feel pressured to fix it surgically. Dr Lopez was professional and immediately put me at ease, saying it wouldnt be necessary. After 8 weeks my wrist feels great and I should be back to golfing this weekend!

I am very happy to have found this group. I had been having pain in my right wrist for about two years. I initially went to see another doctor who was suppose to have been the best, but I did not get any better and my hands continued to hurt that I was not able to work. I saw Dr Maximos and Dr, Dang and I couldnt be happier. After the second visit, I was back to normal. I am very pleased. I can tell that everyone in the waiting room said great things about Dr. Maximos. I did not need surgery, but I talked to another patient who was in the office one week after her surgery and her hand looked completely healed already. I was amazed.

My right hand was unusable when I came to see Dr. Maximos. I had thumb arthritis that was so painful that none of the ice remedies I used worked. The pain was keeping me up at night. I spoke with a co-worker who had her thumb joint removed the year before by Dr. Maximos and had full use of her hand. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Maximos and decided to have the surgery -- something I have never regretted. Within one week of the surgery, enough healing had occurred that the pain was substantially less than it had been before. Subsequent to surgery, I went to physical therapy and now (three months later) have almost 100% use of my hand. It gets better every day. The scar on my hand is barely visible.

I had a great experience with HSSH, the staff was very nice and Dr. Lopez took time to explain to me what was going on with my wrist, what to expect after surgery and he just is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone that had problems with their hands!
