My experience at this doctor office were great and he have very very exceptional bedside manners. The staff us very nice and polite they make sure yiu are taken care of at this facility. I had a very good doctor no regrets.

Dr. Faruqi and his entire staff have been extremely professional and courteous. They have gone out of their way to assist with diagnosis and appointments, including keeping the office open late one day when I was stuck in traffic prior to a procedure. I highly recommend!

Dr. Faruqi Sohaib is very thorough. What has made a difference for me is what I suffer with isn’t your normal everyday issue. Yet he is pressing through with me.

Initial visit and followup were done very expeditiously and thorough. Wait time was minimal and staff was courteous and professional. Dr discussion on insurance coverage was excellent and removed some anxiety. Overall - a job well done by all!

Overall Dr. Faruqi is a great doctor and the nurses are very helpful. The prep for my procedure was very expensive and the office provided me with a sample. and reviewed all the instructions step by step . Also, I received calls from office staff to follow up and see if I had any questions.

Called to make an appointment. I called twice in one day and the same lady answered twice. She was extremely rude!! The second time I was asking about except it insurances and she hung up in my face. Didn’t call back because I didn’t want the same lady to be rude to me a third time in the same day. The doctor may be amazing but so far the customer service we receive when you call is horrible!!!

I like Dr. Faruqi but my experience this week with his office staff has me looking for another gastroenterologist. Over two days, I called multiple times. The phone just rang and rang or it would go to their answering service during regular business hours. When someone in the office finally answered, I was placed on hold for over 12 minutes. I asked a question regarding my treatment and was was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. No one ever called me back.

Dr. Faruqui works with you to find a great solution to the issues you are experiencing. Listens to your concerns.The staff is friendly and helpful.Safety precautions are taken by this office.

Dr. Faruqi is genuinely concerned about my well- being every time I see him. He goes over all and tests thoroughly, and asks if you have any questions on any of it. His answers are clear, and understandable in layman terms.

I have been dealing with Doc for a long time. He is the 1st and only person I use or even recommend. I know he has gotten some flack for scheduling during Covid but completely not his fault. His office staff has always been wonderful to me. He is a pleasure and I will never switch.

They have coordinated with hospital to plan my procedures and it is a seamless experience .Doctor Faruqi is very friendly and knowledgeable. He had spent time listening to my problem and suggest course corrections , recommended procedures, followed up pre and pre post procedures to check on me.Also received tips on making some life style changes to handle my situation better in coming days .Overall , extremely satisfied with the staff and doctor in handling my requirements.

Better have some serious cash to see this guy. Has failed to communicate any information to me after my procedure, but Im still getting bills 3 months later. He doubted any of my symptoms, I think it had to do with my age and my gender . I suggest anyone who reads this take the time to find another gastroenterologist.

Horrible doctor. My boyfriend went to a consult after he has some ct scan done, he has been in pain for 2 weeks. Hoping the doctor would at least give him a temporary solution for stomach pain, the Dr tells him is nothing wrong with him.. however he sent him to get a laparoscopy and be under anesthesia. My bf paid 40 dlls from co-pay for absolutely nothing..if the Dr would be sure nothing was wrong why he sent him to get more testing. If you want to give away money with nothing in return schedule an appointment with this Doctor

My experience with this office staff was unprofessional. After many times of asking the nurse/assistant if there was going to be any other charges I should be aware of, I was told that everything was paid for. I even specifically asked about lab charges. I was told that if samples were sent, then it shouldnt be anymore than $1000.00 per sample. I was ok with that. A few months later I was hit with a 6000.00 lab bill!!! I was never told the amount of samples being sent to the lab. Even if all the tests were necessary, I should have been informed before the samples were sent. I tried to work with the office staff to get my insurance company to pay more on the fees. I was not able to get help from the insurance company, so I then asked the office for help since the failed to inform me of the situation. I even scheduled an appointment just to meet with the doctor face to face to express our concern. We had to wait 2 weeks for the appointment. On the day of the appointment,  the office manager called and said if i came in, I would be charged an office visit. They told me that it wasnt their problem and there was nothing they could do to help me. It was very unprofessional and unethical. I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone.

I went to see Dr. Faruqi for stomach issues. He did an endoscopy during which I aspirated and ended up in the ER with pneumonia. While there, he came to see me and told me it had to do with my lap band and it needed to come out and recommended bariatric surgeon. I couldn’t get an appointment for 2 weeks. I was admitted into the hospital. The next day the surgeon came to see me. Dr. Faruqi had called him and asked him to come see me. Within 2days I had my lap band out and. Was able to keep food down for the first time in months. Thanks to Dr. Faruqi.

THIEVES! STAY AWAY. After paying my copayment for a colonoscopy, the office charged me another copay just to get the results of it.. I filed a dispute with my insurance company and won. After sending proof, the office still refuses to pay me the money THEY OWE ME.

I understand that dealing with office staff can be frustrating for some people, but office staffing does not speak to the competency of the doctor. I would like to speak about Dr. Faruqis skill as a gastroenterologist. We first encountered Dr. Faruqi in the hospital when my husband had a seizure, brought on by a bleeding ulcer. Dr. Faruqi was very concerned and explained everything to me in detail. He was always polite and professional with me. Our follow-up at his office was equally seamless. He convinced my husband to have a colonoscopy, something wed always felt uneasy about due to the seizure disorder. The colonoscopy went smoothly, though there were several large polyps that were of concern. Dr. Faruqi tattooed the area where one was removed. As it turned out, there were cancer cells within that polyp. When the cancer was discovered, we opted to go immediately to a cancer center for further treatment. Luckily, the cancer was only minimally invasive, though we opted to remove part of the colon and lymph nodes due to a small chance of spreading. The tattoo that Dr. Faruqi put in the colon will aid in finding the exact spot in the colon where the polyp was. I credit Dr. Faruqi with saving my husbands life, not only by thoroughly explaining the colonoscopy prep and how it wouldnt be dangerous but also tattooing the spot for the upcoming surgery. I would highly recommend him.
