Dr. Kaila had to perform my first medical procedure ever on me and she did a fantastic job! She is a veteran of her field & this is proven by the silence of the chattering nurses when she walks into the room. I had to go under anesthesia & I was very nervous, as this was my first time to go under. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated the well- deserved respect that is given to Dr. Kaila. It really made all the difference for me & I will be grateful to her for setting me up for future medical successes for the rest of my life!

Dr. Kaila is the best, it’s her staff that is worthless. I saw Dr. Kaila 3 weeks ago and was suppose to have a EGD on 7/29, all to find out the nurse never scheduled the procedure.I called the office and spoke to someone and was told the nurse would call me back in 24 hours to schedule EGD procedure. I’ve been waiting a week and no one has returned my call.Dr. Kaila needs some competent staff!

Dr Kaila has been treating my elderly mother. I highly recommend her. She is very clear in her communications and is a great listener. She takes the right amount of time to make sure that you are comfortable with her explanations. She is very personable.

Dr. Kaila is an amazing doctor who takes her time to explain things thoroughly and answer all your questions. I’m sure Dr. Kaila is nice but the front office is so unorganized, unhelpful, and gives you inaccurate information making it almost impossible to make an appointment. I don’t have the energy to type up the ridiculousness of the situation, but as someone who works with doctor’s offices and hospitals all day long, I can tell you that this office is a mess.

Excellent in taking care of me during procedure. Great communication skills and follow up. Warm bedside manner and very caring. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a Gastroenterologist.

Dr. Kaila and her staff are amazing! Even if they are booked they always work me in if I need it. Dr. Kaila has one of the best bedside manners and I trust her 100%! I would not go elsewhere for a Gastroenterologist in Houston!

I went in for a new patient appointment and had a wonderful experience. Usually you would have to wait almost a month for a new patient visit but they got me in quick. I called on a Friday and my appointment was on Monday. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and quick. Dr. Kailya was very attentive. She listened to what was bothering me, took notes, and asked several questions. I would defiantly recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Kaila is an excellent Doctor. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced. She played a crucial role in helping me through colorectal cancer. I am currently cancer free. I highly recommend her!

Brought my 89 year old Mom for upper GI exam and the Doctor had the patients run through like cattle. Had to wait over TWO hours after the time we were told to come before she was called in. Apparently everyone is given one time to check in and not a real appointment. She is all about packing them to make the maximum amount of money & could care less the patients. Beware, you will wait & wait, & wait. This is her routine--all about the $$$, go elsewhere.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Kaila since last year; every time we visit, the staff is very friendly, always available to answer your questions. Dr. Kaila is very thorough, very patient and is an excellent doctor to my husband. It doesnt matter how many questions I ask, she is always willing to take the time explain and be sure that I have the information I need to be sure my husband is taken care of at home.

My time in the hospital was made better by doctor kaila who came in everyday to check on me, and kept track of the medicines they gave me. And to see if I was in pain, and she did her best and found me a specialist who could get the job done at another hospital, thats going above and beyond her duties. And I want to tell her THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

I use Dr Kaila for all of my GI needs, and I have sent multiple members of my family to her as well. She is very courteous, knowledgeable, and informative on every detail of her plan of care for each individual. She always takes time to sit down with each patient after their procedure and go over any questions you may have. I wouldn’t go anywhere else but to Memorial Hermann Endoscopy North Loop with Dr Kaila to have an EGD or Colonoscopy performed. Not only is Dr Kaila great, but the staff from beginning to end at the surgery center is remarkable and outstanding!!

I recently had my first endoscopy and colonoscopy with Dr. Vijaya Kaila. She is an excellent doctor - very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. The procedure was handled very well by the doctor and her staff. The location was very nice & the team of nurses and the anesthetist were great. I highly recommend going here for endo/colonoscopies and any GI issues.

Do not waste your time with this Doctor. She is the worst. Does not explain procedures fully and her staff gave me information about my procedure while on the phone the entire time talking to someone else. This is not what you do to someone that will be having a procedure done. Pay close attention to the doctor and her unprofessional staff.

I read the previous review before deciding on a gastro, and still decided to see Dr Kaila as I thought the reviewer sounded a little unhinged and turns out the doctor is nothing like the reviewer described.Dr Kaila is pleasant, yet very knowledgeable, and her staff are great. I started seeing her at Hermann Memorial after a visit to the ER there where I was in sever pain. The toxic water from Hurricane Harvey set off a colitis infection and I suspect exacerbated the forming of kidney stones. Of course it could also have been my unusually bad diet for the six months preceding the hurricane but she and other doctors believe that this cat 3 hurricane was so toxic it is very likely that being near the flooded waters caused the infection.Dr Kaila did both my endoscopy and colonoscopy, and Ive had two follow up visits since the medication cleared me up. My stomach issues have cleared up with a minimum of medication. She reads test results with a critical eye: she decided to wait a few weeks and see on suspected hemorrhoids instead of doing a procedure as she thought they would clear up and they did. So, thanks Dr Kaila.

Dr. viajaya l. Kaila is unprofessional, rude, and nasty. I handed my lab reports to her from a previous doctor, and instead of taking them, she abruptly walked out of the room and never returned without any explanation. Only after I requested a refund for the office visit from the receptionist, that the doctor appeared and lied and told me that she had an important phone call. She intentionally came into the examining room much too soon after she told me to take my clothes off and put a paper gown on just to humiliate me by seeing me half naked. After she finally examined me and told me I could put my clothes on, she never returned to the examining room to give me further medical advice or instructions in regard to my medical condition. I had to walk out of the examining room not knowing where Dr. Kaila went to. If you want to be treated like you are less than human, nothing done for your medical condition, and throw your money away go see Dr. vijaya I. Kaila , and you will certainly suffer a terrible excruciating experience beside the medical problems you already have the reason why you had to see the doctor in the first place.

Staff was horrible, rude front desk..I was scheduled for an 8 am appointment , to find the entrance door locked. Once the girl from the front desk saw me, she continued to keep me locked out of the office.
