My poor little pup doesn’t handle being away from us very well. she was so stressed that she got sick while staying there. They notified me immediately and handled everything amazing. They knew I was out of town so they did everything to make it easy on me. 10/10 service and care for my dog as well customer service from my perspective. I would use them again if I need to kennel her. Nice facility, and staff. Thank you for caring about her and making things easy for me.

This place is great - we are so glad to have discovered it! The staff is very flexible and there is such a great play area for the dogs. Our two dogs get very excited when they enter the facility, which is always a good sign! I feel like they are going to a summer or day camp, which enables me to feel better about leaving them behind when traveling or away for the day. Thanks Rovers Romphouse!

I have one happy puppy everyday when I get him from daycare here! He gets to play with all the other dogs, play outside and chill out on the furniture. They even have couches for them! It is a great peace of mind being able to check on him at work with the cameras they have there! The staff obviously loves animals and they’re so friendly and helpful. I’m picky with my dogs feeding and they listen and follows requests without any hesitation. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a loving awesome place to care for your pets!

Let me start by saying I have mixed opinions about Rover’s Romphouse. I have had pleasant experiences and horrible experiences and I have only boarded my pet one time!My original online reservation went well. It was easy to book a reservation and I got a confirmation email within a few hours that my pets reservation was confirmed.Once I got to the facility however the whole vibe changed. The manager who checked me in was not the most personable person, and when there was an issue with my online reservation she was the least bit helpful in resolving the issue and making sure I understood the changes. In fact it seemed to be an annoyance to her and she was frustrated with me that I did not know their policy. When I expressed my concerns with my service she tried to give my dog back instead of addressing my concerns.I was not offered access to their 24/7 live stream so I can’t not speak to the treatment of my dog but she was happy when I picked her up . She seemed to enjoy her time while she was there.The kennel technician who helped me at check out was so sweet and pleasant that it changed my opinion of the staff them selves.I’ve had 2 pleasant experiences with staff and 2 horrible and my pet was there a total of 3 days.My advice to ensure you do not have the same experience as me and can get the wonderful service the rest of the reviews say they offer is this:1. Call and confirm your reservation2. Go to the office 2-3 days in advance and personally hand in your vaccination records, fill out new customer paper work and put a credit card on file3. Confirm again that they have everything they need before the day you arrive.If you go above and beyond to ensure you have given them everything they need in advance, you should have a better experience than me. They prefer everything be done before arrival or you will be considered a walk in.The overall treatment of my dog seemed well and some of the staff is very nice and helpful but there are a few who aren’t. If you get a nice employee and take the advice I gave above Rover’s could potentially be a good place for you and your pet.Update:12/14I found a threatening email from the owner in my spam that came hours after I dropped my pet off due to the miscommunication with my online reservation. I was asked not to come back when I was the one who left in tears after my encounter with the manager. I did not submit everything in advance, but had everything required upon arrival and because I had questions and expressed how I felt I wasn’t receiving good customer service, I was told I was disrespectful and not to come back.I was not expecting that email after the wonderful checkout I had. So again mixed opinions on Rover’s. I personally feel discriminated against and I wish no one ever experiences what I did when leaving their pet for the first time.

Great brooding daycare, a little pricy but you pay for what you get. Great drop-off/pick up hours and my dog loves to come here. Best daycare I’ve seen in a while.

I take my dog there to be groomed. It is a wonderful service that complements boarding and play care. The groomer Amy is completely amazing with my shy, slightly grumpy little dog. He has boarded there and done play care pre-pandemic. Ive always trusted them and doubt I would take him anywhere else.

Our family loves Romper Romphouse, especially our 90lb lab, Kashew! The staff is exceptional and treats our pup like their own. We have left our dog at Rovers on more than 1 occasion for a week at a time and he always comes home tired (from all the playing he does) and in great health. We were upgraded to a room with a personal camera over the Memorial Holiday so we could check on him any time of day. It was very thoughtful of them. Also, I called after hours one evening and the phone rang over to the owners cell phone who was quick to help me. One of my favorite things about Rovers is the ability to check on our pup via their cameras. I like to see him playing outside with other dogs, or inside on his bed safe & sound. If youre looking for a daycare or boarding facility, this is a great option in the West Houston area!!

My job required me to be on business trips frequently last summer. I saw the reviews, checked out the facility and everything seemed great. Everyone I met were very friendly and you can tell they all loved dogs. It was my first time boarding my dog somewhere and they went over their program and daily routines with me, showed me how to access their doggie cam to see my dogs and gave me a call to let me know they were doing great.I recently moved to a new neighborhood and do not go on business trips as much but I would always pick Rovers if I had to board my dogs.

We came to Houston for a funeral and could not leave our dog in the hotel because she is blind, a diabetic, and has separation anxiety. Rovers Romphouse allowed us to drop her off for a couple of hours, and when we picked her up, we could tell that she was in good hands and was treated with the utmost of care. Great place and highly recommend it.

Gosh me and my doggie (Peppa) miss Rovers so much. My furbaby was a frequent daycare and boarding doggie for a while. The scratch marks on my car interior proves how excited she was everyday. She couldnt wait to get out of my car lol. Ive never encountered any issues and was always treated exceptionally well. Peppa misses Rovers, and she will be there as soon as Im back to 100%

Groomer Amy is beyond amazing. My Great Pyrenees looked beyond new. Beautiful hair cut and smelled amazing. Would highly recommend Amy for your fur babies groomer ❤️

I appreciated all of the work that they did with my dog. Was her first time there and she usually scared of everything. She was scared of course, but they took care of her putting her in a big area and then she could get more calm. She got her walks as they told me, and she was getting more settled. I thank Heather and all her crew. It’s a clean place, staffs are friendly and the boarding is affordable!

My dogs love it here. The staff always know my dogs. The doggie day car is great. They have various cameras so you can keep an eye on your pets.Always use them when we head out of town.

Took my 10 month old puppy to Rovers Romphouse for the first time this afternoon. Heather brought her to me for pickup and my puppy was very happy! I brought her home and gave her dinner and she is now asleep on the floor completely konked out. Really appreciate the access via an app to use cameras to check in in my puppy..Heather, who runs Rovers, is very nice and really loves the dogs that come in. I felt very comfortable leaving my furbaby there and will use Rovers for boarding when needed.Rovers is clean and well maintained. Dont hesitate to bring your furbabies here. They will have a great time!

My puppy loves Rover’s Romphouse. I was so nervous about boarding her for the first time. Everyone was so nice and put me right at ease. They take such good care of her and I love the cameras where I can peek in on her while we are away. Highly recommend!!!

I absolutely did not like the fact that they charge 35dls for boarding and if you dont want your dog in the cage all the time they charge an additional 15dls for your dog to play half a day. They took my dog out for potty 5 times on a leash and only for a couple of minutes. I saw an employee not walking my dog but dragging him to his cage, if the employees dont like their job they shouldnt be working there. I will never use this facility again nor recommend. 3 starts was actually high.

Great place!!! I had to leave my pups for 8 days and was beyond myself driving all of Houston visiting boarding facilities to find the right one! They got a suite, half day play, and I was able to watch them on the cameras on vacation, bc yes, I am that dog mom! :) I never had connection issues with the cameras and I loved watching them play with the other pups! The staff truly like their jobs too, and that is also hard to find. When I picked them up I don’t get much feedback on their behavior or how the week went, which I would have liked. But since I had the cameras on them, I was good with it.

I brought my dog here for boarding for some days during 4th of July to go out of town and when we picked him up he wasnt himself he wasnt even happy or anything they told me he was just tired cause he had been playing so many days. We got home he just laid on the floor, didnt eat his dinner, didnt use the bathroom and wouldnt play at all. And he is a 7 month old husky Ive had him since 8 weeks he is a very energetic fun pup. That night he had discharge coming from his nose I was up at 3 am flashing the light in his nose trying to see what was going on and scheduled a vet appointment the next day. Needless to say He had gotten Kennel cough While at this place. Their is no telling how many days hes had it out of the 5 he was there and their is no telling what dog he came in contact with to know where it came from. I will never board him here ever again.

I brought my dogs here for Christmas break . They were to stay in a 6’x 6’ luxury lodge. When I came to pick them up 5 days later the Employee took them out of a wire crate in a side room. I have a photo. I was of course distraught as these are my children and I was charged in full for the large room. They are too big for a crate. I was told “ sorry we over booked and had to move them”. I booked a month ahead. After finally talking to the manager she stated they weren’t in there the whole time. So I asked for camera footage to be shared showing me that. It’s been over a week and still nothing. I don’t trust these people at all ! Neither should you.

My Maya and Crystal just love it and to be able to go out of town and know you babies are being loved and well taken care of is worth the price and so much more. I absolutely love Rovers! The staff are so helpful and kind, and they even have cameras so you can watch your pup any time of day. They are amazing, and often I cant play with my dog at night because of work I have to do, and Rovers does the job. As soon as hes in the car, my pup falls fast asleep.

I take my pup-daughter, Luna once a week for play care. She gets so excited when we pull up and then leaps out of the car and runs to the door to go inside. Which makes me so happy (and a little sad that she doesnt even care to say bye lol). I love that they have cameras so I can have peace of mind while at work. I was particularly stressed while at work recently and I decided to check the cameras only to find one of their employees with outstretched arms and Luna running to him with her tail wagging wildly. It honestly elevated some of my stress. I know that when she is there she is taken care of. The staff knows her name and every time shes there for the day she comes home and sleeps like a log! Im fortunate enough that shes never had to be boarded, but if I ever had to I would feel confident leaving her at Rovers.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Our dog has separation anxiety so we cant leave him alone while we go to work. Rovers takes great care of our baby. I am beyond appreciative of everything they do. They treat him like hes their dog. The staff is amazing and friendly.

Great facilities, huge outdoor area for playing, super caring staff. My dog loves this place and I feel very safe leaving him there. The online cameras are a little addictive...but you can watch your dog having a great time.

Rovers Romphouse is the most fabulous place. I was looking for a doggy daycare due to a 3 month assignment in Houston. I chose them based on their reviews (Thank you reviewers). My Jessie girl was happy to be there every single day we arrived and appeared super happy every day I picked her up! To me that behavior, for 3 solid months, says it all! The staff could not be nicer, not only to me, but my dog really liked them as well. Never, ever, did I see any hesitation when she encountered one of them. Thank you Rovers Romphouse for taking such good care of my Jessie, wish I could take you back to Dallas with me!

The staff was great, the facility is nice but has a lingering smell. They charged me extra for puppy playtime and did not tell me about the charge ahead of time. I was able to watch my pup via video for a few hours when it would connect

Absolutely amazing place to watch your dog! The staff is great and really love what they do. My dog fred is well known and well received every time we come there.

At first it was great but a day into my vacation we get a call and they tell me they had to split my dogs because they were fighting. Now my dogs are not known to fight, unless there is food present. So they take it upon them selves to move my dogs into separate kennels. I was ok with it until I found out the prices of them being separated, them when we tried to contact the office we kept getting the run around and my wife wanted to speak to a certain person since she was the one that had contacted my wife and discuss a price for the inconvenience, well that never happened and we ended up paying the full amount for them separating my dogs. We were very dissatisfied with the service and we have used them before with no problems, wont be using them again.

Awesome spot for your dog to play while you work, opens super early and stays open super late. Staff are super friendly, accomodating and obvious dog lovers. My dog has a great time and is always super excited about going to play at Rovers.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! They obviously love dogs and always take great care of my Remington! I think he is disappointed when I pick him up. He has stayed for overnight boardings and playcare. He always comes home super tired from all his fun! This last visit he could see the other dogs playing outside as we walked to the door and could not wait to get in. I was a dog walker/sitter for many years and most of my clients hired me because they had bad boarding experiences. I was nervous to leave my fur baby, but I would highly recommend Rovers Romphouse to anyone! Thank you for loving my baby!
