Would be great to have on the website that the pet has to be spayed, hard to believe .very female dog that comes to the company is.5/24 after a misunderstanding about boarding Preppy Pets did reach out to me about boarding my fur baby and I must say I am pleased with the ending results I was able to go out of town an feel my baby was in perfect hands. The prices were great and the staff is really sweet and i feel they genuinely cared about my baby. Thank you all for the great service I will be bringing her back.

Awesome pet care facility!!! I was nervous to leave my dogs in boarding for the first time but this place was so great to them. They provided daily updates on their facebook pages with pictures and videos so I could check on how they were doing while I was away. I could tell they really got to my dogs personalities and habits. Our puppy LOVED daycare and had an absolute blast. I plan on taking him back again for more socialization. My older dogs opted for their teachers pet program to stay in the main office since they werent interested in playtime but still wanted hands on attention. We will definitely be back.

I called to inquire about their rates and services. Of course I was asking a lot of questions cuz I want to be sure my doggy is well taken care of. The lady that answered passed me over to the manager who asked me questions regarding my dog. As soon as I told her my baby is a husky the manager said my dog is too hyper and needs a lot of attention, so their place of business is not a good fit for my dog. Fine! I found a place thats WAY better!!

I live in the Heights area but drive to 30 mins out to this location! The staff are AMAZING! My dog stayed there over July 4th and they blew up mattresses and slept in the suites with the dogs to make sure none of them were too scared of the fireworks! They also gave my dog a fantastic grooming! Shes a shedder and I could tell the groomer spent a very long time brushing her out because not one hair has floated off since I got her! They also post tons of pictures and videos everyday on Facebook and Instagram so you can always see how your pet is doing!! Everything about this place is top notch!

They really took great care of my babies. I love the pictures on Instagram. Wish they had a live video feed, but Im good with the pictures.

We use Preppy Pet for our 65lb pit bull and they do awesome with her. She is happy and doesnt smell like dog when we pick her up. The staff is typically friendly and although we dont need to use Preppy Pet often they recognize her everytime. In fact, one of the staff recognized me and asked how our dog was in another local store.

We love Preppy Pet!! We’ve left our fur babies here for both boarding and day care. The staff is caring and responsible. Leaving our babies there takes any worry away from our travels. We highly recommend!

I did extensive research of boarding/day care services before choosing this one. Its paid off. Great staff, very clean, Roxanne does a great job running the place. Its clear that they take special interest that pets are cared for, are safe, and play with other dogs that meet there personality traits *cough Sadie cough* . I plan on using them for the foreseeable future.

Preppy Pet NW Houston is a great place to board your dogs. I worked there and the staff does a great job taking care of the dogs. They go above and beyond what their expected to make sure the dogs, cats are comfortable. The daycare is fun and the dogs love it. The bathers do an amazing job bathing the dogs. They even take pictures of some of the dogs while their getting bathed. The groomer does an excellent job grooming. I recommend boarding your animals here because all the employees are caring, and professional. Great Place.

Don’t go there!! My dog was a healthy well behaved dog. I took my dog to my vet two days before we planned to leave our pet at their kennel for a three day stay to make sure she had everything she did it before the stay. My dog was in perfect health! After the second night I received a call from preppy pets saying she was very sick and the were going to give her some medicine, I told them to proceed. An hour later I received a call from the kennel again saying that she needed to go to the vet. I told them no I would leave to pick her up. When I arrived they said she was sick to her stomach and they didn’t know what had happened. But with that said they groomed her and sent us on our way. Why did they groom her? I took my dog to the vet and after two very costly visits,the vet told us it was a bacterial infection due to unsanitary conditions! By the way Preppy Pets never called to follow up on the health of my dog! Real animal lovers?????

The people who work here are amazing! From the service manager to the kennel staff! They really pay attention to the animals and their temperament while being boarded! My dog might not be alive if it werent for their attentiveness in noticing that he had something more going on than his usual separation anxiety. Without a doubt they went above and beyond for all 3 of my dogs, but especially for my Ike and made sure to get him the care he needed!

This was our first time using Preppy Pet and will most likely be our last. We left our cat with them for 10 days. My reservation was to include private playtime. Upon returning to pick up Bella, we were told she was not given private playtime because she “hissed” at people. Bella is a very friendly cat. We have never witnessed her hissing at anyone even at other boarding facilities. If the cat is uncomfortable day 1, I understand but why not not on day 2 or day 3. No one called us to alert us to their concerns and their inability to provide the services requested.The report card provided us at checkout stated “Once Bella got comfortable she is so sweet!”. Her behavior was marked, “Happy” and “Friendly” Boarding is very stressful for any animal. We trusted Preppy Pet to provide our cat some private time we thought would help her during this stressful time, and sadly for Bella, she did not get it.

They take great care of my dogs! Can’t imagine taking my dogs anywhere else.

Have used Preppy Pet on several vacation trips for our Beagle and have never been disappointed. Staff is very nice and our beagle always comes back to us in great condition. They even trim her nails for us at half the cost of our vet. Great place that I would recommend to anyone.

It was our first time to leave our furbabies at Preppy Pet for the weekend. It was such a smooth transaction from calling to set up an appointment, dropping them off, to picking them up! Everyone was so nice, and I can definitely tell our pups were taken care of with lots of love and attention. We will definitely be back, thanks again for having Knox and Liberty.

My beautiful great pyrenees Pearl goes there whenever we travel. They are great and dont seem to mind Pearls somewhat nocturnal lifestyle. They actually get her out during the day to play which is not like her at all. She loves it there!

I am a stay at home mom so some days I am busier than others. On my busy days where I cannot entertain my dog I take her to Preppy Pet for daycare. This is very convenient since I usually dont have to make a reservation for daycare. I can just walk in and they will take care of her. My only complaint is that their cameras have been down for months and I originally chose Preppy Pet because I thought they had cameras. They do upload pictures on their Facebook page but I would prefer watching her live. My dog seems to be having fun here so far.

Our pup has a great time here. She has been here at least 3-4 times and loves it everytime. The folks here treat all pets like their own.

My yorkie was always sore for several days after getting groomed from every place except Preppy Pet! He has bad knees and when coming home from Preppy Pet he is always totally fine and his haircut always looks great!! I will take my dog no where else!

I take my dog for baths, de-shed and daycare. The staff is kind and caring. Their prices are very reasonable. Theyve also cared for lost neighborhood dogs and sometimes have adoptable animals.

Went to put in a application and she said the manager was not there and will be back by next week. When she gets back she will be giving me a call during that week for a Open Interview. Never call me, and didnt even look like they would have even giving me the time and day. Very unprofessional.

Wont be bringing my pets back here.

One star because I cant post NO STARS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! Dirty, full of fleas and disease, reported dog deaths and they left my baby in a kennel all day every day for who knows how long and he has contracted Giardia 3 times there. He used to love going there but with the employee and customer turnover I finally opened my eyes and realized what was going on. Theres more so much more! If Roxannas lips are moving shes lying. She will say anything to appease you.

Great place and caring staff. Our dog fell in love with the manager Roxanna. Dogs are separated according to size and groups developed in increments. If Im in the area again these are the people I trust with my dog.

My dog was really happy after visiting this place. She smelled good, nails were done right and the staff is friendly.

Do not trust these people. It floods every time it rains and the animals are left standing in water. Will not be returning. There are better facilities that will treat my boys better than this joke of a place.

Great staff I was actually doing some repairs there and had a chance to see them behind the scenes and all employees have a genuine love of animals they keep the area clean threw out the facility.

Our Groomer, Liz, is absolutely phenomenal. I wouldnt have anyone else to groom my baby, Jojo. She treats him with such love and he always gets compliments on how well groomed he is.

Wow where do i start. My dog jumped the fence in the back where they let the dogs out and they made me feel like it was somehow my fault. They never apologize, they couldnt handle him so i had to go and pick him up 3 days early and then they had the nerve to make me pay for the day that i had to pick him up. I picked him up at 1230pm. So they almost lost my dog and made me pay for a day that he wasnt even going to be there for. Dont trust them with your animal
