Words cannot express my sincere gratitude for the way Dr. Gyening attended to me. I want to extend my deep appreciation for the way she handled the visiting process, including the conversation over the telephone. I am very appreciative that another high-quality doctor has been added to my list of doctors. Thank you, Dr. Gyening, and keep up the good work!

Dr. Gyrening truly cares about my health. Her entire staff are polite, professional, and caring. One of few doctors I do not dread going to. I’m 64-years-old, I’ve experienced nine (9) surgeries so, I e meet a few doctors. Again, Dr. Gyening clearly cares about her patients.

I had the same experience as the one star review below. She seemed uncomfortable and defensive at my questions and concerns. I wanted additional testing to rule out other potential diagnosis - she kept reiterating that there was no way it was that. Used a magnifying glass to barely look at the condition and said she trusted the prior doctors diagnosis. The thing is - I’m not questioning the other doctors diagnosis but still have additional concerns and need for understanding/testing to rule out other factors so I’m not risking some form of spread throughout my body.Rather than wanting to help me understand, she seemed to want to hurry up and leave. I’m the patient coming to you with concerns and paying for the visit, why the rush? Why the defensiveness? Why not want to answer my questions and act as though I’m undermining your credibility? It’s not that personal really, I deserved answers and kindness and thorough understanding of my own concerns.Would not return, waste of money and time.

She asked me to show her what area my skin condition was. She asked me to touch the area, but stood a few feet away and peeked at it instead of getting a close look and inspecting it as a dr should. It seemed like she was disgusted and she refused to touch or come close to me.She spend less than five minutes and acted like she didn’t care. She gave me an ointment and left. In prior reviews this has happened to other women. I am furious to know this has been happening to other women and Kelsey has done nothing about this. Skin conditions should be inspected thoroughly and patients should be treated with dignity and respect. Fort Bend Kelsey Sebold, is failing their patients again and again. I will be filing a complaint my the Texas Department of insurance for the pattern of practice of this Dr.

She values your time and concerns. She hears you out and ask questions showing that she cares and is listening. She offers the best options available for you and lets you decide which is best for you at that time. I highly recommend.

About 7 weeks ago I made an appointment with Dr. Gyening because I was having issues with my skin. She went into the room and didn’t spend too much time diagnosing me and when I asked about it she was very dismissive. I was worried that it was contagious and if it would spread on more parts of my body, but I trusted that with whatever medication she gave me, everything would clear up.On the medication pamphlet it said “if it does not clear up within two weeks notify your doctor.” I waited a month and still no sign of it going away. I reached out to her and she said use for another month….7 weeks in and nothing has changed if anything it has spread and my skin is itchy and irritated from using the medicine. I messaged her twice with my concerns and explained that it was spreading and not going away and both times it was “Use the medicine for another month.” “Use the medicine for two more week.” After telling her that nothing was changing…In my gut I knew something was wrong. I decided to book an appointment with another dermatologist outside of Kelsey and had to pay out of pocket….and what did I learn? That it was not what she diagnosed me with and it was something completely different. I would NOT recommend going here, I didn’t feel heard or cared for. I’m glad I trusted my gut and went to get a second opinion. 7 weeks is too long to be dealing with this issue and just to come to find out that I wasn’t even treating the right thing. She didn’t give me different option and I felt like her practice was lazy and unprofessional. To think that I went in for help and even after I voiced my concerns I was still told to continue to use the medicine that was not working for me.This other facility that I had to pay out of pocket for , heard me, gave me different options to treat it from different angles, such as starting from the inside out. I was not given these options with Gyening…if you want better treatment I would go somewhere else. Not saying she’s a bad doctor, but if I continue to say a treatment is not working…I would like to be heard . Because not one treatment works for all. Thank you.

Dr. Gyening took initiative to call me after my appointment and find a skin cream that was in my budget since my insurance did not cover my prescription. She provide me guidance on how to manage my damaged skin and asked for me to reach out to her in a month regarding my results.

Dr. Gyening (at Kelsey-Seybolds Park Shops location) was knowledgeable, gave me a thorough skin cancer screening, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. She was both professional and warm throughout the entire appointment and never made me feel rushed. She is now my go-to dermatologist!

The doctor was so dismissive, our session lasted less than 10 minutes. She immediately “diagnosed” me after using a magnifying glass to look at my skin, I asked her if I could take a test to check to make sure it wasn’t something else and she just shut it down in this condescending, “I’m trying to leave here” way. I felt very disappointed and like it was a waste of time I would not recommend her at all.
