Recently moved to Houston, this is by far the best dental office I have been too. Friendly staff and an amazing Dentist that offers the most updated services in dental care. They truly care for their patients and made me feel at home!

I’ve moved 12 times in 30 years and have had at least that many dentist in my life. I can say, without a doubt, Dr. Tomei is the absolute best person I’ve ever met. I say person, and not just dentist, because he’s not only incredible at what he does, but he’s extremely genuine! He will never recommend work that does not need to be done and always will find the best solution for each individual. I’ve always felt like a number at the dentist, but here I feel like I’ve made friends. :) I recommend him and his lovely staff 100%.

Carla at the front desk is the nicest person my schedule is so similar to the offices and she made scheduling an appointment with the office so much easier. I tried scheduling with 2 other offices before I called them and kept having a hard time. Definitely recommend.

Best dentist in town! The place is super clean, the attention is amazing, they would do anything to make you feel comfortable. They will also explain everything you need to know regarding your teeth and/or treatment. If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry, they’ll help you out on that part also.(Just give them a call and ask for more information about it). Friendly customer service . The dentist dental assistant made me feel very comfortable & she was very gentle & understanding. The billing guy was nice & very straight forward & honest. Only thing is the waiting room is rather small with maybe 4 seats. So it’s very congested when there is more than 3 people there .

I was recommended Luxadent by a colleague and I am so glad I took that recommendation. I was treated with kindness from the moment I called to make my appointment to the moment that I left. I don’t know if my teeth have ever felt cleaner! Dr. Tomei is incredibly knowledgeable (licensed to practice in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and USA), has 15+ years of experience, has phenomenally kind bedside manner, and great explanations. He immediately made me feel comfortable as if I were in a friend’s home instead of an office. Very hospitable staff, great dental assistants, easy straight-forward paperwork process, and cozy atmosphere. The entire place is clean, well taken care of, in a great location, easy to find, and has great resources - they even have Netflix you can watch while having your teeth cleaned if you so choose! I was particularly happy that my fillings could be done the same day as my cleaning and check-up, which was very nice and saved me time. I was very impressed after my appointment. I will gladly recommend Luxadent highly and will be making Dr. Tomei my dentist here in Houston. So glad that I found them!

They give their patients enough time. I don’t feel like I’m just another number for the day. Always feel a lot cleaner after leaving this practice. They tend to do a better job than the other places I’ve been to.

Dr. Ricardo tomei was a brilliant dentist he really did a superb job in fixing my teeth and cleaning my gums with absolute professionalism. I have a very severe gag reflect and he was able to work with me and even put some salsa music to soothe my nerves while he was working on my teeth. I would absolutely recommend him to my family and friends.

Updated review: I went to Luxadent on two different occasions for cleanings. The wait time is astronomically long. I waited 1 hour on my first visit. For context, I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes at my new dentist.In addition to the wait time, I always felt the staff was trying to up sell me. When it’s obvious is when it’s bad. I was never sure of what was being recommended was actually needed or not.But the reason why I am leaving this review is for the dental hygienist, if I can even call her that. I am an adult with braces. I know it’s unusual but I am not the first adult patient with braces to walk through the door. The moment I smiled and she saw I had braces she sighed and told me how much longer it was going to take because I had braces. The entire time she cleaned, she complained about my braces in fact. I happened to be sore that day and reminded her several times, she kept hurting the heck out of my mouth. All around I found her behavior unprofessional.Lastly, the entire office staff speaks Spanish whenever they are not directly talking to a patient. They’ll even talk in Spanish in the room with a patient while talking To each other about the patient. I am Hispanic and I speak Spanish so I understood what was being said but I find it unprofessional to speak a language in a room with a patient/customer/client that can’t understand, especially when talking about them and their healthcare needs.

Dr. Tomei is great! Wonderful personality. Takes the time to explain things. I’ve been seeing him on and off for a while now, never do I feel like I’m being “sold” anything which is quite common with dentists. I think he genuinely cares about his patients, I like that.

In general, service has bene great and I never had to wait to be treated.Dr. Tomei is amazing. If I could rate this zero stars I would but it forces me to give it one star. I had the worst experience ever here. I bought a deal on Groupon and originally gave a review at 5 stars but It was mistake. I was numbed locally and didn’t realize I had a problem until numbing wore off. I have been unable to eat for the past 3 weeks on the left side of my mouth.I called them and they were angry and didn’t want to make my appointment but they went ahead and scheduled me. I went to my appointment and was unable to receive help again today.I paid $100 for the groupon and I felt like I was overcharged for extra services and paid $600. I ended up with a messed up tooth. I am very upset and unhappy. I don’t recommend anyone to go here because they just want your money. I won’t ever be going back here. Now I have to go somewhere else and fix my tooth and pay even more money.

The staff and the doctor are very professional and very very nice people. I love it. I had so many questions and they didn’t hesitate to answer all of them, also they are very patient. I was new with extractions and was very nervous but they helped me see that it was something very simple and easy. I will definitely be coming here for my dental services and recommend it!

I just visited here for my regular checkup. The dentist was not wearing a mask(he was holding) and talking a lot with a patient who is not wearing a mask neither. I cancelled my appointment right away, because Im not comfortable to have a dental care in this environment. The front dest lady was not wearing a mask neither when I entered, and she started to re-wear her mask. I will not come back here. This dental clinic is so unprofessional, and so dissapointed.

I love this office! Dr. Golshani is attentive to your needs. She is calm in her demeanor and treats patients with the utmost respect. My care comes first. The office is beautiful and its so easy to get a convenient appointment (I usually have Saturday appointments). Her dental assistant is amazing! She explains exactly what she is doing, and she takes x-rays with speed and accuracy. We live in Richmond now, but I still make the trip to this office! By far the best dentist Ive had the pleasure of seeing. Dr. Golshani has been taking care of my dental needs for two years now and every visit with her has been a painless, quick, and thorough procedure thanks to her steady hands, warm demeanor, and excellent expertise. Ive been coming here for a couple of years and have always had a positive experience. They take the time to explain what treatment is required and why. I thought it was neat that they used cameras to take close-up photos of problem areas in your teeth to explain what is causing the issue.

I have been traumatized and horrified of going to the dentist for years. But Dr. Ricardo and his staff have helped me so much to get over my fears. Dr. Ashley is amazing! So convenient to West U and Southside...right behind Starbucks on Buffalo Speedway. Literally two minutes from our house! Our entire family goes to Dr. Ashley...my husband, me and our three kids!Our son (6) and daughter (4) absolutely love Dr. Ashley and her very kid friendly staff. They are so family friendly, convenient location, and most importantly great dentists. Since her sister has joined the practice it is now even easier to see the entire family! Man o man, I am very grateful for Dr Tomei and his team. I have a kindergartner and a 2nd grader that needed cavities filled. They have been getting their teeth cleaned by a diff Dr in Katy and she overlooked some cavities needing to be done. I realized something was not right when I saw the big holes in their teeth! I knew exactly who to call to take care of my boys. I had previously worked with Dr Tomei and am very familiar with his work, I am so happy he has his own practice and we will be coming here, even with the hour long drive, for all of our dental needs.My kindergartner not only needed a cavity filled but the cavity had almost reached the nerve. Thank God we came in when we did. Dr Tomei was so gentle and quick! After we got home and the anesthetic wore off neither one of them felt any discomfort! My 6 year old thanked me for taking him to the dentist!! Mommy, thanks for taking us today we had a lot of fun!Thank you Dr Tomei! I appreciate you!

First time here and everyone was very friendly! Would definitely recommend

Although the cleaning itself was good, I was told I had several cavities and a likely root canal, and crown. When I got a second opinion by a trusted and well respected senior dentist, he said that my mouth and xrays were rock solid and I had nothing to worry about, and no cavities at all, let alone a root canal. So it seems that either Dr Golshani was either intentionally deceitful or unintentionally incompetent, which in either case is unfortunate.

Update: 9/10/18So I wanted to do an update from my previous review.. well after I made the review concerning my dissatisfaction, Dr. Tomei reached out to me and to address my dissatisfaction. He offered to redo my total cleaning and offered to do a bleaching as well, so I went in for the cleaning, he did impressions for the bleaching, and mailed the bleaching kit to my house.. So even though my initials experience was not good, I can say the fact that the Dr. Took time out to contact me and showed concern, and was willing to fix it with no hesitation, shows thats he cares and wants to make sure patient is happy😁. But I guess it just need to be clearly communicated if you are not satisfied with the service rendered at that time.. Teeth are cleaned and Pearly white!!!.. Thanks for your Efforts😊Previous Review:So they have a special going$38.00... now of theyre thing is to find oral issues and get you to get more work/treatment done, but me having excellent oral hygiene they couldnt find nothing..So The clean was Dr. Tomasi using a sharp tool to get the little plaque I had on the inside of my bottom teeth, and that was gonna be it!!.. until I said something as I know what a basic cleaning involves and you need to use the drill to clean in between my teeths... so the person who was polishing my teeth tried to give me some bullhorn statement.. I wasnt buying that... so then Dr tells him she can get the additionso cleaning, but again he do it.. Im like wheres your trained hygienist to do this.. needless to say he still and half job again, but wanna say I wanna make sure your happy..yall right!! ..no u just want my money for wats its costing you from having a deal, but not honoring it to its full services.. because cleaning my teeth as it should have been Done would have been done the 1st without me having to complain.. Dont go here they dont care bout your teeth just your money... dont know who really writting these reviews, but there not honest people doing it..

The staff was very friendly. I used a LivingSocial voucher. I felt as if I was a customer paying full price, they treated me no differently. I was amazed that the dentist actually did my cleaning, I feel that made my cleaning even more legit. Nice office, very convenient location. I walked out sad knowing I had many dental probs, but I know Ill be happy and confident in a couple months when im fixed up :) thanks!

The office staff is nice. Dr. Golishani is deceitful ( the younger looking one ) She waited until I was under nitrous oxide to ask me if I wanted a number of procedures preformed that was not discussed prior. Also, I went to a dentist before her that told me my wisdom teeth could not be saved... Dr. Golishani said otherwise and said she could do fillings. Skeptical I let her try one wisdom tooth and guess what? I was told that the cavity was near the nerve and it could not be completed.... I feel like she wanted to make more money...now I would need the tooth pulled, instead of her going that from the beginning. Dr. Golishani I hope you read my comment and stop lying to your patients.

I have nothing but good words to say about Drs. Ashley and Zarrin Golshani. They are courteous, prompt and always very polite. I have been seeing them for over a year and I havent had anything to complain about so far. I am one very happy client.

SCAM!!!!! went online to find a dentist to get a cleaning and saw several coupons for cleanings and whitenings..I called about them and they said the coupons where not theirs even though their name and so called reviews where on them.they did honor the cleaning coupon but when I got there they tried to charge me $600 for a cleaning and didnt let me use the coupon for the cleaning..$600 for a cleaning..thats messed up.do not go to this dentist because they are fraud...and the place was empty when I got there...no customers..i wonder why..scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have gave 0 stars but I had to put atleast 1...horrible practice..super scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!
