I just left this place and definitely pleased with my visit. I love the way Dr. Shorkralla took his time with my cleaning, made sure it was painless, and they made sure I was very comfortable. Their staff is very welcoming and I really recommend this place. Their awesome staff explains everything you need to know ahead of time what your insurance will cover. No hidden fees here, plus definitely in my budget.

Very personable. There was an issue with the insurance. However the front end staff went above an beyond to solve the issue. Very clean and sanitized. My nephew is special needs and the entire staff made him feel safe and comfortable the entire time. This was an emergency appt. I didnt mention when making the appt that he was a special needs person. The entire experience was genuine and compassionate. Thank you guys!

Well after almost 4 years having braces finally got them off. but the result is not what I expected after 4 years long. The Othodontist just does not care about his patients. The day they take them off he just take a quick look at my bite and then take off. I left with crooked teeth. Many times i spot out some of the spaces of my teeth that he does not see and some adjustment that I want to improve my teeth, he just got mad and annoyed by my words. After one week having the braces off, I have to go find another Orthodontist to adjust my bottom teeth because I keep on biting on that one crooked tooth. The day They take them off I just gave up on them and let they do what they want to after 4 years long of waiting I still do not get want I expected. I would never recommend this place for anyone that want to get their braces here.

The worst experience ever!I wanted to do regular cleaning, and I scheduled the appointment. However, I waited for an hour to see the doctor. Then I had to catch the rush hour. What did the appointment do!Meanwhile, they did not tell me about my insurance deductable and told me my cleaning was fully covered. However, after a few weeks, I received the bill. I called them and got the wrong information. I did not know it was the insurance deductible until the next business day. I worried about the bill for the whole weekend.

I dont need ziptibidip from the owner of this place. The fact is you dont want to talk about your from-to prices over the phone. Other dentists I talked to have no problem with that. So, their prices are more competitive.

I LOVE this office! I have been coming to Portal Dental Care since I moved to Houston Texas back in 2017 and even though I’ve seen staff come and go, they’ve always been EXCEPTIONAL! The team here is so friendly and caring. They always address me by name and remember my face, even with a mask on! 🤗 Particularly, I come here to get cleanings and for my Orthodontics appointments. I never have an issue scheduling and they always work with my crazy work schedule. Great customer service!!!! First time at this dentistry (Bammel N. Houston) The facility was very clean and the wait time wasn’t a problem. The Dentist explained everything clearly in regards to the treatment that my daughter received for that day; She was also caring and nice. There were other small children in the waiting area without mask, due to the COVID 19 pandemic it would have been proper for the clinic personnel to enforce the mask requirements for the children.

I have found my forever Dentist ♥! I loved EVERYTHING about my visit! The staff was so very nice and friendly. Dr Le is extremely kind, patient and understanding. If anyone is looking for a Dentist, I HIGHLY recommend! Oh, and the prices are wonderful and the front desk did an amazing job helping me understand my insurance! Great visit!

Portal Dentist in my opinion is a great dentist I’ve personally been coming here since i can remember. They care for there clients and show tons of respect and make sure your on time for every appointment.

I got referred through my best friend! So i figured i give them a try. And for it being my first visit i was truly impressed. Timing was on point also very very kid friendly!! The dental assistant i believe her name was sarahi (hope i was right) she was just perfect i will most definitely be requesting for her again!! I went in with my baby girl today. Shes almost 4 and at this age they arent very good with any kind of Doctors. Dr. Lee was very patient with my baby girl and was showing her the tools she would use on her to make her more comfortable. She ended up throwing a fit anyway haha but again, the Dr. And her assistant were very patient and my daughter was happy when we left.

Could not get tooth extraction prices from-to from her by phone. I dont think scavengers could be good dentists.

The service at this facility was such a pleasant experience, even during COVID-19! That does mean there is a bit of a waiting period, but Portal Dental Care employees take care to safely introduce patients to clinic and they are very friendly. Would recommend to families any day!

Friendly staff and doctor. The doctor explained everything clearly. That’s a PLUS. The process from you entering their office is clean and sanitize due to the situation, so happy about it. They were very patient and understanding with my multi ppl appointment and didn’t feel RUSH. A PLUS PLUS. Our appointment were on timely manner which is also a PLUS! Another big plus due to large amount of out of pocket they didn’t look belittle at us nor rush us to get it all done right there right then, which shows a lot of someone’s character/biz. We will be transferring the rest of the family here. 🤗

I have been going to Portal Dental Care for many years, and am completely obsessed with my teeth and oral health. I was anticipating my dentist appointment this afternoon, and am always excited to go because I have such great dentists that make sure my teeth are always on point! I was also nervous because of this ongoing COVID19 pandemic, and I must say that my experience was wonderful as always. They were extremely hygienic, in full gear, and took every precaution to make sure new safety protocols were followed. Dr. Reinholtz and staff are like family and definitely take pride in their work. Take care of your oral health even though most of your face is covered during this time. Having a clean mouth is a good thing!

First let me say that my experience at Portal Dental has always been pleasant, great dentists and front office staff are always very cordial. Now here is my complaint. I have been calling now for 2 weeks to get a situation rectified with credit card billing. I was notified by my flexible spending account that the payment for partial dentures was denied due to the fact that the dentist office did not provide me with the product. I have contacted the office on several occasions for reimbursement and cannot get a response back from the Manager. The young lady that I have been communicating with has been very nice, but she is unable to take care of this situation. I am very disappointed as I really appreciated the service and care until now. I need my money back on the card asap.

Both of my kids and myself have been there and no complaints whatsoever. I was very concerned with a couple of my teeth. They actually offer options that are available so that you can have the work completed. I even discovered that prior work I had done elsewhere was not as good as I was led to believe. Most of the staff is very friendly and professional. The dentists and assistants that we saw are the best.

Lets start with the front office staff. They are very plesent to communicate with, also very patient with all the hectic insurance changes my husbands company is going through. The nurse that assisted my two kids was very gentil and also very kid friendly which is a plus. Dr. E was very patient and gentle with my daughter. I have a follow up in two weeks and I appreciated that they were not pushy to get a small procedure done the same day that i will be taking care of in two weeks for my daughter. I look forward to bring my kids to this office.
