Dr. Krell is the ABSOLUTE best dentist ever! I have been coming to Dr. Krell for several years now. I am so thankful I found him! He makes sure I am comfortable throughout any procedure each and every time I come to his office. I’ve been coming to Dr. Krell for 24 years now, and cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. All of his staff are amazing and it’s a great facility! Nipa was my hygienist today and she was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable the whole time during my cleaning.

I’ve had two cleanings at this office and both were positive experiences. On my most recent visit both Nipa, the hygienist, and Dr. Krell were extremely courteous and efficient.

I have had a few visits now with the staff and I still have wonderful things to say. The staff is friendly and they take their time with their patients. They ensure you are comfortable and are diligent in making sure you receive good care. Its a refreshing change after bad experiences at a big chain dentist.

I went to Dr. Krell to have a cavity repaired. After a minimum of fuss and bother, it was completed. And, a couple of hours later, I was enjoying my nice lunch. It was a great visit with a wonderful outcome.

Dr Krell and his staff are so kind, caring, and gentle, that even my little kids look forward to going to the dentist. And I appreciate that the office always has the latest technology - drill-free fillings, 3D panoramic xrays, crowns made onsite, etc. Appointments always run on-time and they have excellent safety measures in place during the covid pandemic.

Super-convenient location with reserved ground floor parking in the garage. Recently remodeled building and office with fast elevators and no crowds. Cerec ceramic crown and filling machine right in the office for one-visit crowns (also fastest way to replace of those creepy amalgam fillings). My wait times have been minimal and all personnel are diligent and exceedingly polite.

Best experience Ive ever had at a dentists office. Lindsey was absolutely fantastic - Extremely thorough cleaning and checkup, without being the least bit aggressive. I felt like I was flying first class! Pam was equally awesome and friendly, and you could tell she was the Oracle of dentistry. The front desk team was welcoming and took my feedback concerning the duplicative fields on the patient intake form with genuine concern. Dr. Krell was a consummate professional who truly cared and related to me. Ive never thought I would look forward to going to a dentists office, but Im excited about my return in 6 months.

They were great. The office is nice, the receptionist is friendly, the hygienist is super cool and does a great job, the dentist is easy to talk to and relaxed. They dont try to up-sell you stuff you dont need. They work great with my insurance company to provide this great service covered by my insurance. Would highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Dr. Krell and it wont be the last. This was for a cleaning but I wouldnt hesitate to get other work done there. The staff were very friendly and attentive and my hygienist Lindsay did a fantastic job. Dr. Krell was very friendly and informative as well.

Terrible experience. Complete oversell on services and the amount of pain that they want to put you through. It is not the money I am worried about, I have plenty of that. It is the amount of inconvenience and pain that they want to put you through. I went in as a new patient for a cleaning. They told me that I had gum disease and that I would need to schedule multiple cleanings to fix it. They also took tons of x-rays. Just because insurance covers it doesnt mean that I want the extra radiation and the multiple visits to do a simple cleaning. The whole place felt like a billing fraud to me. I would avoid this dentist at all costs. There are many honest dentists in the area, but not this one and this staff. I went back to my old dentist and of course, I can have everything done in one day.

Dr. John Krell made me love going to dentist!! i had and extraction, a root canal and a crown done all at the same time...i am scared to dead to dentist but i had no pain at all...he created all the conditions and and i was comfortable the all time...i am amazed...i did not even noticed that 3 hours had passed.he really cares about his patients and call me to check on me on weekend....He will be my dentist for life !!!!!

I hate to admit it but it had been a couple of years that I have seen a dentist, so needless to say there was some work to be done. Going into it I was very embarrassed because it had been awhile and i knew my teeth needed a very good cleaning. Not once did they make me feel uncomfortable. I have been seeing Dr Krell and his team for a decade now. This time around, I had a badly broken tooth. They got me in the office fast, I got a clear description of what is wrong and what my options are, including one that allowed for delayed treatment if I wanted time to decide or seek a second opinion. Once Ive decided, all work that could be carried out was done immediately, and the follow up appointments, after my gum has time to heal, was scheduled at the most convinient time for me. Dr. Krell called in the evening to make sure everything is going ok. His work is always stellar, my teeth look great, everyone there takes care of making everything as convinient, fast and painless as humanly possible. I sincerely hope Dr. Krell never decides to retire, because I doubt I could find a better dentist.

I cannot express enough, how grateful I am to Dr. Matthew Guerre. This man is a godsend- professional, knowledgeable, sympathetic, and just an outright amazing dentist. For those of you who want to skip the story and want to just consider this rating, please do no hesitate to see this dentist. Dr. Guerre and the entire staff are a very lovely bunch and every single one of them has such a great attitude. Understanding, knowledgeable, and eager to help! You can tell that Dr. Guerre and his staff are passionate about their career. I have found my new dentist. Now, story time:On August 28th, I broke through a cavity, while on my lunch break. In full on panic and in desperate need of relief, I had scheduled an appointment with a dentist that was close to my job. The staff of such office was so rude, inconsiderate, and I felt like their staff did not know what they were doing. Reluctant as I was, they tried to have me sign a consent form a second time, and pointed out that the procedure wasnt guaranteed to work and they started shoving things into my mouth. The dentist was going in and out of the procedure area and talking about her family and the vacation she was taking after that day. Needless to say, I didnt like that they were moving me up and down, having to redo the x-rays, and having just an outright bad attitude. Fed up with feeling like processed meat, I stormed out of the office, only to realize that I had one hour to find another dentist. Called about four other offices until I reached Juanita, who was very quick to tell me that they could see me. Me and my mother left, driving through five oclock traffic, to get to the office on time (we drove all the way from 610 N/290, TC Jester, to this place!) Arriving at Dr. Krells office, was so refreshing and was greeted with such a friendly staff. When they were ready to examine my tooth, Kim (Shes Dr. Guerres assistant- one of the sweetest ladies I have come across) and led me to the dentists chair and gently took x-rays of my tooth. Knew exactly what was happening and what needed to be done. Then I met Dr. Guerre, who was very enthusiastic about the whole thing. He made me feel comfortable and confident about what needed to be done and how the procedure was going to be done. His entire staff stayed late, for my sake. They wanted to help the best way that they could, and I feel as though Dr. Guerre and his staff exuberated a level of excellence and professionalism that is beyond that of any dentist I have experienced.Update: My root canal was a huge success! Since the procedure, I have not experienced any pain.

My first visit to John H Krell, DDS was about two weeks ago. The office is located off of Weslyan and Essex and has a convenient parking garage connected to the building. You take the elevator to the 11th floor and find a beautifully decorated waiting room with teal/brown decor, orchids, and a calming ambiance. You ring the door bell next to the office door to let them know you are there and then take a seat.I was taken back and Lindsay took my x-rays--5 total, which was a pleasant surprise because I am used to having to take about 20. The last x-ray was taken while I stood and the machine rotated around my head. After my cleaning, I swished the fluoride treatment, rather than having to do a tray with the nasty gel. I was then fitted for a complimentary whitening tray and a mouth guard to prevent grinding my teeth while I sleep. Lindsay was very sweet and personable. She did an excellent job gently cleaning my chompers.Dr. Krell was out on vacation so I saw Dr. Matt Guerre, who was very kind. He and Lindsay did an excellent job explaining details of my examination. I have Aetna insurance and Dr. Krell was out of network for me, but Dr. Guerre was not, so I saved about $300 on my mouth guard as well. What a happy coincidence that was! Pam took my payment and was very friendly and welcoming.I picked up my complimentary whitening tray and whitening accessories a week later. Two weeks later went in for my mouth guard fitting. The staff was wonderful for every visit. Id recommend Dr. Krell and Matt Guerre to all of my friends and family in the Houston area.
