As a nanny looking for a position with a family, I highly recommend Morningside. I have found 2 jobs through them and have really enjoyed my jobs.

During my zoom interview, I was not looked at almost the whole interview. Worst interview experience I’ve had on zoom. Then the communication afterwards wasn’t the best, driving record on me showed a stop sign violation from two years ago and I couldn’t dispute it so it disqualified me from a job with them. The only nanny company in the Houston area to have done that to me. I was super excited about working with them, that excitement left quickly.

I do not recommend this place, they are rude to the nannies, they have a very nasty attitude.

The lack of professionalism and communication skills from both Amelia and Michelle I had over the phone with them is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced from any childcare company. They were very rude and didn’t explain into detail the requirements until after stating “please explain your childcare background to me”. Amelia never once said explain your last 3years with childcare. I have an extensive background 10+ years working with children, even children with disabilities. I than asked to speak with her supervisor in regards to her being quite rude and sarcastic with me over the phone. As my background wasn’t expendable enough. I’ve worked in childcare and healthcare. Her supervisor, Michelle calls me after being on hold for 30minutes and talks over me and was rude too. She than tells me that I yelled at Amelia and had her very upset. Also, she states to me “how do you think we’ve stayed in business for this long”. I never in my life would yell at someone over the phone. Especially, if it’s for a potential career. I don’t quite follow why two people would be this rude to potential employees. This company alone is not worth the time for anyone. I should have followed alongside with the other horrible 1 star reviews.DO NOT APPLY HERE NOR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AS THEY DEFINITELY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

The best and most professional nanny agency you can trust I been placed with the most wonderful families I can’t thank Michelle enough along with all the other staff they are the best team.

The process at the beginning is hard but once you are working with Michelle she will help you to find your family and that you get what you are looking for. She does negotiation with family so you as nanny will be happy and backup with an agency and family will treat you good.Im happy with morningside and my family

I been working with this agency for few years already as a nanny , and they been placing me with awesome family’s,! Regarding the staffing in the office I also feel it’s very poor way to treat future and current nannys, maybe try to hired happy people that it’s happy to be part morning side Nannys team .But I also thank this agency for placing me in good places and well payed and generous family’s !!!

Ive used Morningside Nannies for the past 4 years and Im really impressed with their professionalism and how kind the sitters are to my kids. They have got a lot better over the past year (I think there may have been a change in the administration) and they are now very prompt with confirmations. I also like the fact that they really try hard to give you the same sitters if you are happy with them. Well worth the booking fee!

All of the sitters that we have had are GREAT! We recently had to go out-of-town and we were so nervous about leaving our child. Candice met with us a couple of times prior to us leaving to get to know our daughter. She was sweet, responsible, and kind.We missed our flights and were one full day late in coming back home, and Candice made us feel at ease, letting us know she would be there to stay with our child until we made it home.Candice was spectacular!Our daughter loves all of the caretakers from Morningside.

My mother recently went in for an interview, she is a wonderful nanny and has been working with families in the medical center for the past 15 years. However, the reason i am leaving this review is for the awful way she was treated as she answered a question on their questionnaire wrong. She was not given the chance to explain her answer and was simply told to leave and not come back by a very stern woman. I understand this is on of the most sought after nanny agencies around, but they really should work on the way they treat the caregivers and really people in general. I have also tried to work with them in the past as i was a nanny through my college years and got nowhere with them. Please learn to treat people with respect.

My experience with Morningside Nannies was delightful. The staff are friendly and worked with me to accomodate my needs. The nanny who arrived was well worth my expectations. I was very happy and satisfied with this business. I highly recommend any family looking for a nanny to use this service. The new management is super!

Writing this review as someone who has decided not to nanny through Morningside and therefore has nothing to lose. I at first thought that the coordinators were nice enough, though the level of informality was surprising at times (frequent typos in emails, for example.) On the positive side, they are very on-top of their jobs and devote a lot of time to matching nannies and families; however, as a nanny, I did not feel like I was treated with respect by Rachel and Michelle especially. Caretakers deserve to be treated with the same decency as any professional and I found the coordinators to be rude, condescending, and somewhat bullying at times. Granted, they dont make any money from the nannies, just the families, so their incentive to treat nannies well in such a large pool as Houston is low- but were I a parent searching for a company to entrust my search for child-care to, I would choose another or skip the middle-man (and their fees) and privately seek a nanny.

Coordinator Emma does not treat people with humility.I got turned away for not being an insured driver in my cars insurance policy. It is under my parents name because as 20 year old college student everyone knows insurance is very costly (around 400$/mo) I expressed how I could not afford it however I met all of the requirements. Also, this requirement was not im the Website if it was there I would have not wasted my time. They turn down good candidates meeting all requirements to get candidates who dont even have a license to work for them. Very unproffesional! On the site it says to have current auto insurance, MY CAR IS INSURED, it does not say anything about needing for me to strictly be in the policy. This is just discriminating.

After coming in to interview the woman at the desk was very rude she did not even say hello. Just handed me a stack of papers to fill out and apply. The paperwork took a long while. Upon finishing, she had the nerve to tell me that I didnt have the experience for the type of pay that I am seeking. However, the pay that I was seeking is what I have been paid by multiple families. Im sorry that she was used to lower nanny wages and probably makes an even lower wage herself working in the office. Upon her telling me that, she said I could either withdraw my application or be willing to accept the lower pay which was about $10 lower than what I normally receive per hour. I said no and she was not even willing to keep my resume and docs on file with the company. It was a waste of my time and they should advertise how much they pay their nannies which she told me is usually $15/hr. Do not work for them!!!

I work in childrens ministry at a church and we absolutely love working with Morningside Nannies. We have hired multiple nannies to work events that we have at the church and have never been dissapointed. They are always on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They have the childrens safety and well being in mind at all times. I would highly recommend hiring them for any of your nanny needs.

I have been with Morningside Nannies since 2008-2009. Their screening process for hiring nannies is very thorough. Their detailed nanny application, background check, and interview process allows families to receive safe, respectful, dedicated, and nuturing nannies. Michelle and Rachel often work after hours and weekends to help families out. They are both very professional and kind.

The woman who works here had the door locked during business hours when we arrived to ask questions. I called several times within 2 days to no answer. I asked questions in person as to how to apply and she was dismissive and couldn’t be bothered. I didn’t get to fully explain my work experience without her interrupting and responding negatively. There are too many nanny agencies for you to have to deal with the HR lady here.

I am looking for a nanny. I hesitated to call this agency based on repeated reviews stating rudeness. I can verify that this is true for my experience too. I am not going to proceed with this agency nor would I recommend it based on my experience today.

Have just started using this service after hearing two recommendations (one from a hotel staff member and one from a friend who worked with this service as a care giver). They have been very responsive to my requests and very professional. The added expense has been worth the ease of mind. The care giver that I was assigned was also very professional and I would very happily use again.

We use Morningside Nannies for backup care when needed. The nannies we have been assigned have been wonderful! The agency is very responsive and helpful.

The coordinator of this place is very disrespectful and she does not know how to treat people with humility.

After reading the reviews, I would have waited to call them. However I’m glad that I didn’t read the reviews first. To my understanding, they are under new ownership. I have to say for me, the process was great, the office staff was great and very comforting. I help watch over my sisters two kids, 7 and 9, and the lady they sent out is awesome. Far better than the trying to use the greensheet or craigslist to find someone. I made sure they ran a background check and drug test, everything came back fine. I have to say so far the process is the best I have seen, and you can rest assured we will be using them far into the future.

My mother in law is an amazing woman she has worked as a nanny for 20 years and only because she didnt answer 1 question right she failed the test and they told her she was not going to get a job as a nanny there they are racist and very rude. Not helpful

My wife recently hired a sitter from Morningside Nannies and the sitter arrived almost one hour late and she did not feel the need to answer her phone or to call us to let us know. When the sitter met my children, she told me she had no experience with the ages of my boys, she had only worked with infants. After arriving home the boys told me they watched television all day, was not happy to pay $15 an hour and an agency fee for someone to hang out on my couch all day. I do not recommend this agency.

Morningside Nannies conducts a very thorough review of all their nannies. They have a great reputation.

WORST NANNY AGENCY EVER! Rachel and Michelle (the nanny coordinators) are rude and condensing. Rachel called me or should I say harassed me daily until I signed a contract with them. She even called me the day I was giving birth! They sent over an unqualified nanny who eventually quit after 6 weeks. The agency did not even offer to send a temp. What they did do was ask me to pay another $3200 finders fee! This company is a joke. I wold never use them again and I would say Mommy Beware! This place is a farce and unqualified to find you a nanny.

As partner manager with GTM Payroll Services, I know that Morningside Nannies advises parents on their responsibilities as household employers. They regularly refer families to GTM for complimentary consultations and tax advice about nanny payroll issues. They are very friendly and professional and I recommend Morningside Nannies highly!

After dealing with rude racist people from this company I can not recommend them. I Do not appreciate how I was treated and how they go about finding nannies on care. Com! Why should a parent pay a placement fee for a nanny you found on care when we can do that ourselves with out being charged an arm and a leg or deal with disrespectful behavior!

I called Morningside with the intention of hiring a nanny for my daughter. The Executive Director Michelle was so incredibly rude, I was in shock, she was condescending and unprofessional. When I replied that I was uncomfortable moving forward because of her attitude, she sent a follow up email continuing her demeaning tone. I would never feel safe hiring anyone who she represents.

Morningside nannies has no quality control for applicants. They state that they have a thorough hiring process, and yet we have had several negative experiences. The first is one nanny who fell asleep on our sofa while holding our twin infants, while she received $15/hr; the next is one lady who arrived 1 hour late and left 5 hrs early despite my having booked her for the entire day. The applicant in question also agreed to the entire shift but abruptly changed her mind after arriving. The next experience includes one lady who texted frequently on her cell phone even when my son was using the potty. I am sorry but there is no quality control here because there is no follow up from the company anymore. Also the owner should inservice and require that all applicants enroll in a professional conduct class; all nannies should be required to take periodic learning modules for different age groups they apply to care for and in addition the company should follow up after each and every visit with clients. If they had better quality control, I may not be posting this review now. In addition I completely agree with the previous reviewer--there is no excuse for a nanny to make a family late to work or surgery or anything else. There is GPS, mapquest, paper maps at the bookstore, and the applicant should have left an hour earlier or driven there the day beforehand to be professional--- everything else is a lame excuse to deflect blame.

No chance for opportunities I have a degree I have a clean background I work with kids Im CPR certified I dont see why I could not do it and everybody deserves a chance some people dont have experience so if I used to teach and have a clean background and everything else I dont see why I couldnt do it
