I have been searching for a new hair salon and I finally found it! The staff here is always so kind and attentive. They always greet you with a smile, and they always go above and beyond to offer you the best service. I had the best hair experience ever thanks to Maddie! She is incredible! My appointment went so well I was so satisfied with my haircut and came out feeling like a million bucks! Maddie is so knowledgeable and kind and she gave me so many tips to help me style my hair! I highly recommend Maddie!

After months of no salon care my hair was horrible!!!!I showed Bianca a picture of what I wanted done. She said absolutely and was very fair on the pricing and I never felt like I was being overcharged for anything. If youre looking for a job thats done with intent, precision, and attention to the final look that you want--you dont have to look any further. I was highly unsure that my hair was salvageable, but Bianca managed to breathe life into it and tone it to the color I wanted (compare photos below). She is extremely personable and conversational. More importantly she took the time to explain the process and always checked in to see if I had questions. She takes her craft seriously and it shows in her work. All of it was done in about 2-3 hours. Absolutely will be coming back and highly recommend to anyone thats looking to get a balayage done.Thank you Bianca :)

Elle, thats all you need to remember from this post! I actually come from out of state to have her cut and color my hair. Yes, shes that good. It always starts with covering up my sparkles, then I share pix Ive saved that I might want to try. Elle explains what it takes to get to the pix. Then she works that magic girl! When shes done my hair always looks fire! I always get compliments and asked where I go. The other day the Chick Flia girl said my hair was 🔥 and I was in the car! I recently did red bayalage and my husband has complimented me on my hair almost everyday, saying Elle did such a great job! She listens, talks and performs everytime. Shes an asset to my beauty routine!

I went to see Elle at Green Apple Salon in Montrose for a light trim and a full balayage. I had been growing my hair out from a short cut for over a year and I explained the importance of maintaining as much length as I could as I’m hoping to gain a few more inches of length. I hadn’t been taking good care of myself and I wanted a nice new look. Elle worked magic with my hair!!! Not only was she was able to maintain my length, my full balayage came out great!! I left looking like I’d had a nice cut and my color looked so natural that it really boosted my self esteem!! If your looking for a professional in color and are looking for someone who you can trust to listen to what you want, Elle is your lady! She did a fabulous job with my grown out mess!! I wanted a bold color and Bianca DELIVERED!! I wanted to do a dark purple to cover a bad dye job from another salon where they had killed my hair. After a treatment and usage of the products I bought from her, some of my curl pattern has come back AND my hair is STILL VIBRANT!! In the pictures is my before and after of my salon visit in the beginning of October. The last picture is my hair today, 4 months later. I have grown out roots but the color is still so rich and bright!! I’ve gotten asked if I’ve recently dyed my hair again by coworkers because it still looks so good! I cannot say a high enough praise for Bianca. She has me as a life long client now.

I had my first appointment yesterday at Green Apple Salon with Madison and she was absolutely AMAZING! I am usually pretty nervous about getting my hair done due to previous bad experiences but she was so friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. I had a hair cut and deep conditioning treatment done and she did the exact cut and style that I wanted but that she also thought would be good for my hair to help it be healthier and look better. She was so knowledgeable and sweet and I am SOO happy with how my hair turned out! I can’t recommend her enough and look forward to coming back again!!

I asked Andrea for a light pink fade and BOY DID SHE DELIVER! The service is great, everyone was very sweet, and Andrea definitely has the skillset I want for my random hair ideas. Very safe, too, with covid precautions.

I recently got full bayalage done and it was my first time at this salon. I went blindly off of the reviews and chose a random person who had the availability I needed. I’m so glad I ended up with Ashley! I’ve been all over the map with my hair... ice platinum, jet black, red, and everything in between, so I kinda know the questions to ask before getting started, such as toner? Bonding treatment? How much extra for blow dry? Is the picture I’m showing realistic? This time, I didn’t even have to ask these questions as Ashley answered them all without me having to ask. She made me very confident and comfortable letting her do my hair even though it was my first time with her. She’s very sweet to chat with and gave me exactly what I wanted!

I chose Green Apple on a whim when searching Aveda salons in the area. I was booked with Devon and I am SO happy with my cut. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. Devon welcomed me and was very warm and inviting. Explained every step that he did while also asking questions. We chatted throughout my hair treatment (which included the most amazing scalp massage!) and through my cut and dry. He is very knowledgeable of hair are and specifically the aveda product line. I love the outcome and I left feeling great. It was an awesome first cut back after not having any styling of any kind done since early last year due to covid. The front desk was kind and courteous as well and I could tell that Covid precautions were taken VERY seriously. I booked an appointment for my husband with Devon and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Green Apple and specifically Devon for your hair are needs. 10/10!

TLDR: Super unprofessional and rude.Sam wasn’t patient and had an awful tone when I tried to discuss services. The customer shouldn’t be made to feel bad when they’re asking about services, this was way before my appointment time, already off to a bad start. Besides this I showed up early for my appointment, I arrived and needed help with parking because their lot is full and there’s signs all around saying parking is for other businesses. They (Sam) explained parking in an annoyed manner on the phone and then said they’d call me when my appointment was ready. I waited another 5 minutes, got a call a little after my appointment time and all they asked was whether or not I was in the parking lot.. Not once did they say to come in, or even let me say anything before they hung the phone up on me. I assumed they were busy and sat in my car waiting, 15 after my appointment I called and as I was they called me as well and said they’d been waiting. I tried to explain to Sam that nobody told me to come in and instead of being polite they quickly rushed me off the phone and told me to hurry and come inside. When I got inside I was greeted by Maddie (who was polite to me, ty I appreciate that) I tried to explain to Sam that they were really rude to me and they didn’t want to hear it. Completely disrespectful and didn’t even face me when I explained what they’d done. I could understand if it was just bad communication and they gave me a sincere apology for the way they spoke to me, nope. Sam gave an insincere apology, and I didn’t even get my haircut. Don’t waste your time here lol, the dressers may be good at what they do, but management clearly lacks respect and care for the customer.

I left horrified and on the verge of tears. After my experience at Green Apple, I dont think Ill let anyone touch my hair again for a long, long time. Even now, more than 6 months later, Im still not happy with my hair. Im hoping that soon it will look better - but... really? Why did I pay someone to absolutely BOTCH my hair?Im including photos of the haircut I wanted and my hair now in its natural, wavy state. Clearly, the dry cut on my straightened hair was a bad idea.

This place is amazing! Everyone is super nice and I always feel so welcome and taken care of. My stylist is Mel and I’ve been going to her for almost 4 years. She is so sweet and fun and always does an amazing job on my hair. You can tell she’s truly passionate about the work and her customers. I have literally never had a bad haircut from her and have always had a blast chatting with her in the chair!

Good atmosphere, nice stylist, felt very safe. Parking was limited and challenging especially around rush hour but not a deterrent.

Originally booked my first appointment with a Groupon but had no idea how amazing the value was going to be for the services I received. It’s smart marketing to offer the reduced first visit because it only takes one visit to convince you to rebook! The environment has a holistic calm about it. The staff radiates positive energy. The botanical treatment is total aromatherapy. There are hot towels and a glorious hand massage during shampooing. They explain every product and process along the way. It’s like a mediation, balancing, renewal and spa day rolled up into one! Steven was amazing! I have curly hair and he was amazing at matching my color and getting it straight just the way I like it. I booked my next color touch up before even leaving. I have definitely found my new regular stylist for sure!

I had my appointment with Devon. He was absolutely outstanding! I gave him free reign to do whatever he wanted with my hair and he seriously did an amazing job! I’m so in love with my hair! I loved the atmosphere. It was vibey and the layout of the place was really cool! I really can’t get over Devon’s work. I had long wavy messy hair, and he turned it into a polished piece of art. He picked such a perfect cut for my hair texture and face shape. It’s so complimenting. I’m still blushing from all the compliments I’ve received today! Great experience with Mel! I had an 8-hour layover in Houston and was contemplating what to do in the city when I realized I was in desperate need of a trim for my grown-out pixie. I looked in Google to find a suitable shop and found Green Apple with good ratings and pictures of spunky short hair that matched my style. I called from the airport and they were able to take me as a walk in. Cute shop, Mel was very easy to talk to and knew exactly what I needed. I had a white wine and good convo while she cleaned me up and gave me a great new shape. Bye bye, mullet! The girls were super helpful with planning the rest of my layover and I went on to have great Tex-Mex and a lovely afternoon! I recommend!

I scheduled a haircut with Green Apple Salon in February, but I received a call on the date of my appointment stating that the hair dresser was running an hour behind. I was offered the option to come in an hour later, or to cancel my appt. I was understanding, but could not come for a later appt, so I had to cancel.I was told at that time, and about 5 times since then that I would get my deposit back. Its been about four months now and the salon has yet to process my refund. I have called multiple times, and a number of employees have taken down my information. Each employee has agreed to follow up, but they have yet to follow through.I cant speak to the skill of their hairdressers, but the business is poorly run, and I unfortunately paid for a service that I never received.

I have been in the Houston area for several years, but out of familiarity, I continued to see my former hair stylist in Tomball. The commute was killer. Despite this inconvenience, I was afraid to find someone new. I looked at google reviews, and checked out the IG page for Green Apple and felt very comfortable with my choice. I called to schedule my appointment and was recommended to Anthony.I color my hair red and was very nervous trusting someone to do a good job. I loved my experience at Green Apple Salon! The stylists were all very friendly and helpful.The Owner even came by to introduce himself and to welcome me, very nice touch! The complimentary drinks, hand massages, and hot towel treatments were amazing. I will definitely return for all of the above, plus the place is very stylish. My service was great and always is with Ashley. She takes the time to listen to what I want and is always open to changes or suggestions. She is a very talented colorist too! I had no appointment and called less than an hour before they closed. I had an appointment with Studio Eclipse Salon originally, drove an hour to get there (on time) and they couldn’t see me because they were short staffed. I called 3 hours before my appointment to make sure my appointment was still set in stone, but they STILL dropped me.I got on the phone right away because I wasn’t going to just have gotten ready and drove for an hour for nothing.Justin figured something out for me and worked with Spencer on figuring out what to do with the mess on my head.There’s such a great atmosphere here, everyone is so friendly and works together pitching in ideas, complimenting each other’s work, helping mix colors.I felt like royalty, guys. I got an aromatherapy neck massage, hand massage, glass of wine. I had a great time and my hair looks beautiful! I absolutely loved my experience at this salon. The atmosphere is very relaxed and open and the décor was very nice! I love the huge elephant ear plants outside! The salon is also located on a street that is not very busy, even at rush hour, so I had an easy time driving in and leaving.I came by after work and felt immediate relaxation in the hands of Ashley who offered me wine to drink while she cut my hair. After my cut she massaged my neck and scalp and hands! It was wonderful. Ashley is a great, courteous, funny and friendly stylist. I always enjoy getting my hair cut by her.

I first visited this salon a month or so ago. I can say the atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming. Shelby has been working on getting my hair to where I want it. I can honestly say she is amazing!!! I am trying to go blonde in the spring so she has been great at suggesting that we do this in phases so that my hair does not end up fried ... The salon is clean and the staff is friendly.

I have had great experiences with Green Apple Salon, and with my stylist, Sheri. The team at Green Apple is great, warm and welcoming. Sheri is a fabulous stylist and knows how to work with my fine hair and make it look amazing!

I was most disappointed. Green Apple Salon was highly recommended to me. I was scheduled for a full heavy highlight, but instead was advised that I needed only a roots touch up. For twenty years, my hair has been highlighted ... never colored nor suggested a roots touch up. As a result, my platinum blonde hair turned golden yellow blonde. Since my visit to Green Apple Salon, I went to another Aveda salon who now has performed two full highlights in order to restore my hair to the desired color prior to my visit to Green Apple Salon. I paid a premium price for a full highlight that I did not receive at Green Apple Salon. I have now spent hundreds of dollars and hours of valuable time due to the damage done from one visit to Green Apple Salon.

Im one of those people that dreads going to the salon so I dont go very often (as in I go annually, maybe), which means my hair isnt in great shape when I go. I got a great dry cut here from Shelby, and am happy to have found a nice chill place to get a good cut. Place is nice, staff super friendly and down to earth (not snooty, so if thats your thing this isnt your place). Shelby was very sweet and thoughtful talking to me and taking her time cutting my hair a little at a time to make sure I liked it. I have very long fine hair that shows every little thing, so I really appreciated that she did that, I didnt even ask she just saw what kind of hair I have and took her time since it was my first appointment. I was out in 40 minutes during my lunch break and I found the price to be reasonable ($50 for the dry cut of my waist length hair, prices posted on their website). Its right across from our doggie daycare (The Best Little Dog House in Texas, also excellent), parking is really bad in the area but they have a nice little lot. Great place, and Shelby is awesome!

Everyone is always personable and Anthony is the best color stylist ever! And reds are hard to get right! They are extremely reasonably priced as well.

Went in about a week ago for a haircut with elle. i was late by ten minutes, which i get was my fault. when i arrived, it took elle another 10 minutes to meet with me. off the bat she was irritated with me, and rushed into my haircut with no shampoo/blow dry. then i was charged full price for a haircut i could’ve gotten somewhere cheaper. i understand i was late and at fault, but maybe better scheduling would solve the time issue. an hour is not enough time to shampoo, cut, blow dry and style.

The transformation Devon did on me is unparallelled by anything within my universe, I had been dying my hair red for 3 years, and then let my hair grow out for an additional two years before deciding to have something done about it. Devon didnt mince words when explaining that my hair was in a state of dissaray and that it would be complex, and timely to acheive the level of blonde I desired, but bb.... Devon did it!Im positively jubilant, and was completely impressed by the entire salon staff and their welcoming nature and advice on how to proceed on my hair journey!

Cozy place with friendly, talented staff. TResa has a great hand and getting a wax from her is virtually painless! There is no red, irritation or itchiness afterward like other places Ive been to. I drive in from Katy to The Heights because Ive not found anyone as good as TResa!! I highly recommend her! 👍🏻

I have spent my entire life with curly, frizzy, unruly hair. That usually meant I kept it short and never thought about growing my hair out. Recently I got the urge to try to grow it out again, but I had hit the spot where it was un-tameable (Thanks Houston). My sister mentioned a keratin treatment as a possibility.I googled, and found Green Apple Salon. My experience with Sherri and Justin was impeccable. The treatment they gave me completely transformed my hair, and Sherri was an incredibly delightful person. I will keep coming back to Green Apple.

Finally qualified stylists. I dont have typical Caucasian hair and its difficult to find stylists that dont freak out or look perplexed when they have to deal with my wavy, curly, hair. Ive had better haircuts than others there, regardless, they have all been quality and worth the money.

Ive been to all types of salons, including a couple different Aveda salons in the Houston area and I really love this place. The location really couldnt be better. The building is very cute and intimate and the staff is all so friendly and make you feel like theyve known you for years. Ashley does an AMAZING job with my hair, and the shampoo and hand massage are such a great addition, not to mention the complimentary wine! I leave here feeling relaxed and beautiful every time! This salon offers the best of the Aveda experience and Im so glad I found it!
