Ms. TRACI Tran (there are two, her name is with the i) was recommended by a friend when I just didnt know who to go to anymore for my hair. For the past 20+ years Ive box dyed my own and also had it done professionally by many of other stylists, but I was never completely satisfied until I met Ms. Traci!!She listened to how I would want my hair to look, asked about history of my hair, gave me her suggestions and also taught me a few things on taking better care of my hair.The process took really long, but the results were always well worth it.Weekends are her busiest time so prepare yourself with drinks, snacks and some type of entertainment, reading or Netflix lol and just let her work her MAGIC on your hair!! Im so blessed to have met Ms. Traci!!

Place is nice, plenty of parking. I didnt like how my barber lady stop my haircut to answer a phone call though. Thats why u need an earpiece

Very dissatisfied, Peter the blonde old man kept going against of what I was asking for, I wanted certain haircuts he kept suggesting that the haircut he thought would be good was what man was looking for in girls, we agreed in a certain hair color he dyed it dark brown, I left very unhappy. 😒

I had a completely different haircut from the picture I showed Henry. It was my first time having my hair curled so I put 100% faith in him, and the result was crazy. Now I just can wait for my hair to grow longer lol. The floor and the equipments can be cleaner. But I do appreciate Henrys efforts. The other workers are nice, too.

This is my second visit to Traci (see my previous review on Yelp with the picture captioned Fire Hair). I had a wild idea back then and she delivered, this time I had another and she worked her magic once more. I will never go to anyone else ever again to color my hair. It takes hours to do what I want, but its because she does it meticulously right so that my hair is still soft afterwards. Plus shes such a great person and awesome to talk to about anything. She really loves being creative with those adventurous enough to try it, and thats me. Needless to say shes just extraordinary and the results were gorgeous. I had my hair done by Tracy Tran she did an amazing job. The price was good much cheaper that where my friends do their hair and its better quality. She is very honest and I love that about her. She would say to your face that something wont look good on you. Would definitely come back. My total experience was amazing.

Kim did a great job with my daughter’s layered cut, and for only $18. My son had an older gentleman who was also quick and efficient and cut and washed his hair for only $10 (although he didn’t shave the sideburns - so be sure to specify that). Very pleased with this place!

Michelle was absolutely fantastic! I was greeted with a smile and great attitude. She took care of me and offered advice for my haircut. No waiting time at all. Clean place, courteous staff and great prices. Will definitely be back!

Went for haircut today for the first time @at this place , fairly busy with lots of things going around, coloring , shampooing , cutting .I got my haircut with Peter ..excellent guy in his dealing with client n hair cut was amazing .I had got a very neat n smooth finished results ..he gives you full one on one attention and fully concentrates in what he is doing wit a smile on his face .cut/shampoo /style for medium length =$22 ....(as opposed to reviews saying #18.. $20) and yes do have to wait around this place .Good hair day!!

I was nervous at first because I recently had a color job done that did not match my photo. Id seen a girl in the store with hair like I wanted and she said Traci did it. I called Traci and she fit me into her schedule at the last minute. She did an amazing job at fixing it to make it look like the photo. She was so sweet, listened carefully, and did her best to make it happen! I know exactly where Im coming to get my hair colored from now on! Thanks, Traci!!! You rock!!

I called on Sunday for highlights and a haircut and they had a spot with Traci. I arrived early and Tracy introduced herself and asked what look I was going for and I showed her. She gave her opinion and knowledge and the end result was perfect. She is very friendly and even covered me up with an additional smock when I got cold. She took her time and works diligently and definitely can multitask. The price was definitely fair and reasonable! Thank yall!

Needs to tidy their surrounding. There was a child with wet diaper that overflowed on their chair, they just wiped it with dry cloth. I was expecting they wipe it with wet cloth then dry cloth to the least. It smells bad. I wonder if they clean their combs and hair brushes?

I always go to Tracy for a haircut. She’s really good but always very busy. Even if you have an appointment make sure that you’re ready to spend an extra hour or too because she’s handling 2-3 clients at a time. But it’s worth the wait.

My first time going and it was great Julie was my hair stylist, she is a master stylist/colorist she was awesome. She has been doing hair for 20 plus years and you can tell. She gave me the right amount of BLONDE highlights which blended very well with my grays. She knew exactly how to color, cut and style my hair.Going forward she will be my new hair stylist, they have the best prices in town, I watch other stylist cutting and coloring doing such a wonderful job. This place has a lot of business and regular clients.They do awesome work, they know by the type of hair you have what color,cut and style you need. They take their time and do a very good job.If you are seeking a great place and stylist as for Julie, you will be happy you did!

Henry is another stylist i seen that is great for cutting and styling hair. He takes his time and its very precise. And price its not bad compared to other upscale places. .

I had a hair trim and style done by a stylist Julie from this place. It was my first time using her. It was a simple blow out. All I told her was that I needed large curls. She cut my hair very short and uneven (not even step cut) and could not blow dry it properly. First time it looked aweful. Some sylists this place are over confident and think they know it.

Im changing my review from one star to five because of Traci Tran!! I went in the day before for color and highlights. I returned because the first lady only colored the front top part of my hair..I went back for her to fix it..I did show her several pictures of the strawberry blonde with blonde highlights. .She colored my hair a dark burgundy!! I braved it, being upset about the amount of money I paid and bad hair color, I went back, a third time,very upset. Thats when TraciTran took over!! I was so nervous and upset..and it took hours to fix..when she was done I was scared to even see my hair..but she did it!! She corrected the problem and colored my hair the way I wanted it originally!! And I absolutely love the results!!

Now.. Im not one to leave bad reviews but every time I think of my last experience at Beauty Express I am overcome with anger. I had solid blonde hair but my dark roots had grown in. I wanted low lights added to help better blend my hair when my roots grew out. I said I want to stay blonde just add dark to help blend. Oh gosh.. what I got is horrible. I left with orange roots, and dark brown/gray hair. On top of it all my hair was damaged in the process because he put toner on my hair!!!! Why toner for brown hair?!?!?! It looks terrible. I usually leave the salon feeling great but this time I cant even look in the mirror without wanting to cry. I would just spend MORE money to get blonde highlights added (shouldnt be necessary in the first place) BUT my hair was so damaged in the process that I am afraid to color it. I have been here twice prior to this time and had ok experiences but this is terrible and I will never be back.

Don’t go to Kim, she burned all my hair and then had the nerve to charge me double. The color wasn’t even close to the color I showed her in a picture that I brought in.

Years ago I was complaining to my Vietnamese American friend about how I hated that the only options for a haircut are a $60 salon visit which Im almost never that happy with, or leaving Great Clips with wet hair after a $12 so you can save money by not getting it blown dry. I dont get why white people spend so much on haircuts said my friend who always has PERFECT hair. Ummm, theres another option?! Enter Beauty Express.Ever since then, Ive gone to TRACEY at Beauty Express, I never see anyone else and I highly recommend her, but I do have a few caveats:1. Do not be in a rush. You may luck out and be in and out in an hour, but most likely not. Bring a book and know youre in it for the long haul, (but youre saving $40!!). Try booking the first appointment in the morning (9am).2. Know that the price will change vary SLIGHTLY based on your LENGTH of hair - I asked once because I was usually charged $18 and then was charged $20.3. If you enjoy the fake chit-chat with hairdressers who dont have a personal relationship with you, then this place is NOT for you. I find it refreshing that when she does talk to me its related to the service shes providing.4. When you show up on time and are asked to wait in the sitting area, do not look busy on your phone or engrossed in a magazine. Ive noticed when Im unplugged and looking around (not with Im rudely annoyed face but with Im ready face), I seem to get called up for the hair wash much faster.5. Know that this is not the cleanest salon in the world, but again, youre saving lots of money.6. Ask for Tracey - the 5 stars is for her. She is brutally honest, but I like it and find it kind of funny. She once told me with her best disapproving face, Mmm, I know you think long hair is beautiful, but this is too long for you. You have skinny face and you dont look good with long hair. I gave her freedom to do what she thought would look best and she was totally right - she layered and thinned my flat fine hair and transformed it into full and voluminous locks. She really has an eye for hair but also respects your do nots if you have any.
