Been going here for a while. I normally love the services. I had an appointment yet up for tomorrow and I got a call the day before stating the policy has changed and they require a 50% deposit before any services. I let the lady know because of such late notice I would not be able to pay the deposit today especially since I was notified the day before of this “new change”. She stated the appointment had to be canceled then. This was horrible customer service and clearly they don’t appreciate my business.

I have been going here for years, but due to all the new policies . The customer service has went out of the window! Just really dry and not friendly.

This was a good experience. I usually go to the one in Vestavia but ended up here after a long waiting list. I must say overall I have no complaints and I was in and out quickly.

This was my first waxing ever and I was very pleased.I had Alisha and Is the best!!!!!! A nice, understanding, sweet woman. I will be going back because of her!!!

Ive been going to Brazilian Wax Spa for almost a year now. We move often, so to be able to find an environment that is not only convenient but great in value has been fantastic! Ive seen a few different wax specialists, and all but one have been extremely comforting. The front staff is pleasurable. My previous appointment the went above and beyond to give me some information on where I can find local events and restaurants.

I was 7 minutes late to an appointment, 7 MINUTESS!!!! and the lady at the told me that since it was over 5 minutes, I could no longer be seen that day and would have to reschedule.Absolutely ridiculous.Not only did she say that I would have to reschedule but she implied that I should be thankful since other places in town charge more than $35 for Brazilian waxes. Ive been here a few times before and I am really upset with the way customer service is going. I booked this appointment weeks in advance and typically people will call you before moving your appointment! Things happen all the time. I planned on going out of town and this was a HUGGGEEEE disappointment. Go where your money is valued, it definitely isnt here.

Extremely rude to my mother who has mobility issues. You’ve lost a whole family of customers. We will not be supporting this business in the future. I hope you can get training in basic human compassion. Good luck.

I have gone here for 2 years, recently I tried booking an appointment a month in advance and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and obviously had a bad day and just hung up on me. Booked else where

Just listen to the person thats doing the waxing and you will be fine. And it will be uncomfortable but worth it.

Walked in to get a wax only to be greeted by 3 techs and a receptionist sitting around doing absolutely nothing informing that they booked up. How when everyone is sitting around chatting and on their way phones. I wont go back.

Ask for Ashley or Briana. Thats all you need to know!

I love this location. I’ve been to the Vestavia location and after coming to this one, I’ve never been back. The Hoover location never disappoints. On top of that, their building score is 100. Clean environment & nice decor. On the other hand, I’m dropping in to brag on BRI! She is the best!!! Her personality is positive and welcoming. She provides fast, efficient service. Bri keeps you calm during the waxing process (she even has you laughing) and she makes sure to get all of the hairs lol.

So I’ve been a customer for a year now with Ashley.. and now that she’s gone I tried with another lady and she was new at it and did everything badly. Like I had to leave after two strips because I couldn’t handle her work…

My very first time here and first waxing in several years. I saw Briana (sp) on 8/29/19 and she was fantastic! Very quick, efficient, and thorough! I had a lot done with back, shoulders, chest, stomach & front/back male Brazilian. I’m enjoying the smoothness! There was never an awkward moment. Have my next appointment with her scheduled in October and look forward to it! (also shout-out to the receptionist who was amazing, but don’t know her name right off) thank y’all and see y’all soon!

Kaylene is 5+ stars every time! The front desk lady, however, gets zero. She was exceptionally rude on both the phone and in person. Get one of the Vestavia people to take her spot because I never want to interact with her again. If it wasn’t for Kaylene I wouldn’t come back.

COVID era instructions are clear, the place was clean, and the staff super friendly and helpful.

Very private, professional, comfortable. Scheduling the appointment was very quick and easy. Everything was clean and crisp, from the seats in the office to the bathrooms. Ill definitely be back, and Id recommend to anyone else.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They are so quick and efficient, never have I had such a good experience at any wax spa. None can compare to Marcis standard and expertise, she holds her entire staff at the highest expectation, and they dont disappoint. The quality and cleanliness of her spa is above and beyond, and never once have I felt un-welcomed or judged. Highly recommend any of Marcis staff, they are all excellently trained and brilliant at what they do.

Carrie is the absolute best. Shes gentle, yet thorough. And offers a delightful conversation during an awkward service. Ive been going to her for over a year and I plan to continue. The Hoover location is a new store front so its shiny and inviting. Its very a clean and sanitary environment. They offer a variety of waxes that include hard, soft, and sugar. They also sale scrubs and other options to treat hair bumps. Kris, the receptionist, is in the perfect role. She greets you with a warm smile and hearty greeting. Everything about this place makes you want to return.

Very disappointed with the service. When I made an appointment, I asked for the latest available which was 6:40 pm. I got stuck in traffic and called 25 minutes prior to tell them I would be 5-10 minutes late. When I arrived I was 10 minutes late, and they told me they could not do my appointment because they were closed. The store listed a closing at 7 pm. I was very disappointed with the customer service and how rude they were! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

I have Always had a good experience here, but I scheduled an appointment today and rushed from work to find out they weren’t there for my wax due to some licensing issue. I never received a phone call letting me know of this and tried calling several times and was on hold for 15 minutes with no answer. I was Offered no apology by the receptionist and her solution was for me to wait an hour or to reschedule. Very unprofessional.

I went in for my 1st Brazilian and was super nervous. Brianna assured me that Id be fine and talked me through the procedure. She was honest,thorough, and kind. I will definitely return.

Although the front desk lady was a little dry (granted everyone doesn’t have good days but i definitely noticed that)! I had a great experience with BRI doing my Brazilian wax! It probably took us 15-20 mins but it felt like 10! Literally felt nothing! Not only was she good but she had a great personality! Definitely my spot now!!
