The best doctor you can ever meet! My daughter was diagnosed with GERD from her GI doctor. Ever since her diagnosis, she was not feeling 100 percent. Dr. Yang was adamant to find out more of what her underlying condition could be. He was so helpful when my daughter was in pain and after multiple tests Dr. Yang was able to catch the rare condition she had. She was able to get the correct medication and a special diet she needed. My daughter is off to college now. I am so grateful!

My mother usually had difficulty lifting things or moving her shoulders due to shoulder pain, but she improved significantly after being treated and receiving pain relief injections by Dr. Yang. I saw Dr. Sung Yang as my new PCP in September 2017 at his Waikiki office in the Bank of Hawaii building. Given my medical history, he recommended I do both a blood and a urine test. He also was thorough and bottom-line driven as far as explaining the necessity of taking the tests and preventative medicine. I was satisfied about the doctor going over the particulars as far as general health.Suggestions:- Have a directory listing inside the Bank of America building. This will help new patients find the office, along with distinguish it from Urgent Care

The staff is always friendly and the nurses even more so. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. Regardless what your ethnicity is. Also Dr. Yang is a very educated intelligent MD that is straight forward and gets the job done. And although he is Korean he is very fluent in English. I would recommend to anyone who needs a PCP.

Today was my second visit with Dr. Sung Yang for a medical consultation as a follow-up appointment regarding my lab tests. He was very thorough by explaining the results of the tests and x-rays as well as using graphics as a visual aid for my benefit. Dr.Yang has been very understanding with issues Ive had since coming back from the states, very professional and thorough with treatment as he goes over the charts with patient-friendly language. Parking can be validated, however if picking up prescription on same building, it will surpass the validated time so I would advise picking it up at your pharmacy if driving.

I was visiting Hawaii for the first time with my family. My daughter dislocated her elbow when her arm was accidentally pulled. Anyways I brought my 3 year old daughter to see doctor yang. He was very gentle and professional with my daughter. My poor little girl was crying without rest. He pushed the elbow back in place...just like that with a click. It happened very quickly and it worked. My daughter was not crying anymore...thank God....everyone especially my wife was so so relieved. I have been to other doctors for myself and daughter but this guy was really good. Highly recommended.

Dr. Yang has been one of many doctors I have seen and the only one that was able to bring my blood pressure down to where it should be. He sent me to different test to determine what was really causing my high blood pressure and got me on the right medications to where it should be. I feel so much healthier then I have ever felt for many years. I have been to a lot of doctors and took all different medications for over 20 years and never had the results that Dr.Yang has giving me. His assistant is friendly and efficient, and when I called for an emergency appointment this morning at 9:30, she returned my call by 10:00, and gave me an appointment for 12! I had recently moved to Hawaii and was having pretty serious health concerns. I had been to multiple doctors and had almost given up hope of finding adequate medical care on the island. UNTIL I made an appointment with Dr. Yang. His staff and facilities are excellent appointments are prompt and He also has some of the best medical training you can receive. Dr. Yang was the first doctor and only doctor since I moved to Hawaii to correctly diagnose and treat my condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Yang to anyone looking for a primary care physician. Ive had the pleasure of visiting two convenient locations for Dr. Sung Yangs offices - Waipahu and Waikiki, nearby to where I work located in the Bank of Hawaii Building on Kalakaua. His staff - both Dawn in Waipahu, and especially, Marcela in Waikiki are exceptional! I frequent the Waikiki Office, located in the Urgent Care on the 3rd Floor which has made it convenient to visit on a lunch break during a work day, or visit if Im feeling ill at work. I can also fill any prescriptions in the same building with Longs on the bottom floor, too. Dr. Yangs care is very thorough in preventive medicine, and explaining the details with all my questions, no matter what the issue or concern. Although I have a PPO for insurance, Dr. Yang is my PCP - primary care physician and is so for my family as well. Hes been an excellent doctor for my husband and teenage sons who are now adults. Prior to scheduling an appointment with him to request refills on meds from my physician at Yokota Air Base/RAF Lakenheath, I conducted a search online for a highly recommended physician in the Waikiki area after relocating to the area due to my new job. As a result, Dr. Sung Yangs name was at the top of the list. I read his credential and was most impressed with his body of work, experts knowledge and education at John Hopkins University. That spoke volumes. Initially, I visited Dr. Yang with support of his physician assistant due to severe sinusitis. He got me in for an appointment the same day and prescribe meds to remedy the inflammation symptoms within the week. Last Friday and the previous Friday, I visited Dr. Yang and his assistant for a consultation regarding diagnostic lab results and Xrays. He was very thorough, detailed and specific about my health. I especially appreciate his slide presentation as a visual aid that provide clarity to the situation. Yes, I highly recommend Dr. Yang as an internal medicine physician to one and all. This is not a real office! Doctor yang has a room he uses at an Insta care. His staff is one person. They are not friendly or personable. I went to be helped with anxiety. Instead he ran labs and wanted to do an ekg. Two visitors and over $300 later i find he is going too hold me hostage. Make me come in every two months too refill anxiety meds! It took me a year to work up the nerve to go see a doctor! He doesnt understand anxiety! My internest on the mainland had me visit once a year. Every two months! My insurance deductible will be met in no time if i did that! No thank you!! i will live with anxiety instead on lining his pockets! I talked with friends who are doctors they all said he is out of line!
